Xorius holds out a hand. "So it's a deal, then?"

"Yes, sir" she shakes the hand

"Good. What type of armor would you like?"

"Any type of medium would be great"

"Would half-plate work?"

She nods "Thatd be perfect"

"I'll have it brought here tonight."

"Thank you, sir!"

"Thank me by using it well."

She nods, saluting

"So, are there any other topic you wish to discuss?"

"Not in particular, currently. I just need to figure out exactly how I was put here... Anything that you would like to?"

"Well, there are a few things I would like to warn you about. Certain people here seem to think that I'm sort of horrible monster, just because of my appearance. Don't trust them. And be wary of demons. There are quite a few around here."

She nods "Thank you for the warnings. Are any of the demons disguised?"

"Only two that I know of. One is a young man with red eyes, and the other is a thief, who's often disguised as a small child or a ferret."

"Thank you for informing me. Ill keep it in mind."

Shade and Tehonican are walking and flying, respectively, around in the tavern, enjoying each other's company and the attention from the Tavern's patrons.

E is drinking from an unlabeled bottle while reading

While Shade an Tehonican are making their rounds, they stop next to E for a bit, Shade gently and affectionately (for her) bumping into her, and Tehonican landing on a nearby table.

She smiles, petting Shade "Hello again, Shade." She looks over to Tehonican "Is this a friend of yours?"

A voice enters E's mind. I'm Tehonican, the Couatl you may have seen with Egrien. It's a pleasure to meet you. Tehonican bows his head slightly in respect. You are definitely a woman of morals, and a fine member of this establishment. You can hear the sincere respect in his voice

Shade begins purring as E pets her, the deep rumbling sound that shakes some of the nearby chairs and glasses slightly.

The telepathy she reaponds with seems, strangely, completely voiceless (Thats a kind thing of you to say, but there are certainly many better than I. Especially when including those who are currently away. A friend of mine, Mithris, is a good example. She and my brother are currently out) she bows her head back

Indeed, there are some better than you but, in many worlds, people such as yourself are unfortunately rare. Even the world I hail from has far too few people like yourself. If there were more, then Reirlin's order, the Guardians of the Peace, wouldn't be necessary. I know this all too well unfortunately. I've been bound to Egrien since I was a hatchling as my mother was killed before she was able to impart my duties to me.

(Im sorry... I know the pain of losing a parent young. Its... Almost no one deserves to feel that sort of pain)

Indeed. But Egrien is better than most would've hoped. He led me and taught me what I need to know. While I am bound to him, it is no longer out of necessity, but friendship. Even the deity he led me to, and who accepted me, has agreed to let me stay alongside him until he dies, at which point I will be given a new directive, as long as I survive until then, that is.

(Who is the deity he led you to?)

I doubt you'd know her. She's known as Thegdione, the goddess of Mysteries and Knowledge.

(I see... She sounds very interesting)

She is. Very easygoing for a deity, and definitely more understanding than most. I think that part of the reason why she agreed to let me stay with Egrien is for the knowledge and experiences I'd gain in my travels alongside him.

(Ah. Is she very widely known in your homeworld?)

Relatively. She's not widely worshiped, but she does have a decent number of followers.

While Shade an Tehonican are making their rounds, they stop next to E for a bit, Shade gently and affectionately (for her) bumping into her, and Tehonican landing on a nearby table.

She smiles, petting Shade "Hello again, Shade." She looks over to Tehonican "Is this a friend of yours?"

A voice enters E's mind. I'm Tehonican, the Couatl you may have seen with Egrien. It's a pleasure to meet you. Tehonican bows his head slightly in respect. You are definitely a woman of morals, and a fine member of this establishment. You can hear the sincere respect in his voice

Shade begins purring as E pets her, the deep rumbling sound that shakes some of the nearby chairs and glasses slightly.

The telepathy she reaponds with seems, strangely, completely voiceless (Thats a kind thing of you to say, but there are certainly many better than I. Especially when including those who are currently away. A friend of mine, Mithris, is a good example. She and my brother are currently out) she bows her head back

Indeed, there are some better than you but, in many worlds, people such as yourself are unfortunately rare. Even the world I hail from has far too few people like yourself. If there were more, then Reirlin's order, the Guardians of the Peace, wouldn't be necessary. I know this all too well unfortunately. I've been bound to Egrien since I was a hatchling as my mother was killed before she was able to impart my duties to me.

(Im sorry... I know the pain of losing a parent young. Its... Almost no one deserves to feel that sort of pain)

Indeed. But Egrien is better than most would've hoped. He led me and taught me what I need to know. While I am bound to him, it is no longer out of necessity, but friendship. Even the deity he led me to, and who accepted me, has agreed to let me stay alongside him until he dies, at which point I will be given a new directive, as long as I survive until then, that is.

(Who is the deity he led you to?)

I doubt you'd know her. She's known as Thegdione, the goddess of Mysteries and Knowledge.

(I see... She sounds very interesting)

She is. Very easygoing for a deity, and definitely more understanding than most. I think that part of the reason why she agreed to let me stay with Egrien is for the knowledge and experiences I'd gain in my travels alongside him.

(Ah. Is she very widely known in your homeworld?)

Relatively. She's not widely worshiped, but she does have a decent number of followers.

Egrien steps up. "I can."

*You realize this is Xorius talking, right?*

*Yeah, And Egrien does look rather reluctant, but he is willing to help, oddly enough.*

"And... Who are you exactly?"

An enemy of mine. He may be genuine, but don't trust him.

She nods slowly, and in a very subtle way

"I'm Egrien, Warlock in the service of my grandfather, a Solar. I can help you identify that item you hold, if you'd like."

She looks to Xorius

Don't expect it to be truthful, but there's little that would be harmful from it.

She looks back to Egrien and nods

"Alright then. Let's see what we have here." He seems reluctant about helping Xorius with anything, but eager to figure out what a new magic item is. His hands and eyes beign glowing slightly, as does the rod he holds in this right hand. He mutters a few words in celestial as he casts Identify.
