Its not a hexblade thing. Meroving is a sword that possesses people. I was made to host them. Eventually they gave me intelligence. I don't have the space to write the whole thing down here.
"A conduit is... Think of it like a tunnel through a transitive plane, the path you take when you planeshift. Going through a lot of them isn't fun... Does that make sense?"

"Then gain the powers my friend" she said and smiled, turning backwards and falling into a pile of leaves that some how turn into millions of butterflies.
Lazarus looks on jealously. "Is there a time limit on this offer?"
"No, I am patient and do not need it right away"
"Do I have to enchant it, or can I make someone else enchant it?"
She shakes her head, a butterfly with bright orange and red wings crawling on her finger, "I could not care how you get it, so long as you get it"
"Mmm... Okay. Thank you for the offer, by the way." He says, reaching his hand out to touch the butterfly, but stops halfway, muttering to himself
She chuckles and stands up, picking up a small amount of leaves and giving them to him to cup in his hands before turning them into butterflies for him.
Lazarus tries to stand still for the butterflies, not moving. thank you. Sorry if I should of asked first
"It is ok, you looked like you wanted to touch one of them" she said and chuckled, holding a purple-violet one gently on her hand
i did. Just.... Me and living animals don't mix. Most run away, or get aggressive towards me. Lazarus says, standing as still as a statue
"It is ok, just breathe in and out, let them feel welcome towards you" she said and smiled warmly
Lazarus tries to breath naturally, and it comes off pretty convincingly. may I ask you a question regarding your vampirism?
"Of course" she said
Compared to the common vampire, how do you differ?
"I don't require blood as a daily substance, i can drink once and go for months without a need for more"
"Is that all?"
"More or less" she responded
"Mmm... I see." He says, a bit disappointed
"Why?" she asked "What has made you sad by this discovery"

What? I’m sorry.. what? Atemos is completely dumbfounded.
Soldaer laughs. Part one is good news, and should've been followed by this second good news: we're getting married, although we haven't set a date yet. Part two, the murder-y archfey lady, is mixed news; bad news that she exists, good news that Spawn helped.

You wouldn't happen to know of any way to keep that Archfey away from the little area I'm trying to carve out for me, Nia, and our unborn child, would you? She nods "We probably should. But..." She looks around "Where are the portals?"

Soldaer turns back to his gardens, and starts slowly trying to revive the plants Yuri killed, or at least tried to kill. Those that are beyond being revived he removes and replants. Before long, everything is back to the way it was before Yuri came.
After a few minutes, nia comes out to look at the progress

Soldaer walks out onto the balcony of the single fully completed room and watches this, smiling. "Glad to see you two are becoming friends." He says as he easily climbs the 50 feet down the outside of the tree structure-thingy.
"Well I didn't want us to only meet that one time..." They shout back
Soldaer laughs and walks over, giving Nia a hug and kiss. "Fair enough. All of this is two days of work, surprisingly."
"Cool. Still wish I got to help with it." They say, jealous
Soldaer laughs. "You can help tend the gardens, if you like. I'll show you which plants are the ones we're keeping. As for the actual construction, it is something that takes decades of experience and practice to get right."
"So? I got another 1000 years of childhood. College and school get boring after a while
Soldaer laughs again. "I have a child on the way. Don't exactly have the time to teach you before our little one is here and wanting a home."
Gwen resists the urge to pout like a little kid. "But elf pregnancy take forever right? I am sure you will have plenty of time!"
Soldaer shakes his head. "Same length as a human's. We just mature a bit slower, and age far slower."
"Mmm... Fine, youngling." She says, jokingly
Soldaer shakes head, laughing. "I'm over 200 years old." When he stops laughing, he grins. "I've got a friend who should be returning here soon, and he's over 15 times as old as. He is a true dragon though, but still." He laughs. "I sure hope Phantom comes back soon. I kind of miss him."
"I'm nearing 1000 years of age." She states promptly. "And there is a dragon here?"
Soldaer nods. "Or at least there was...he's currently dealing with twins that his now-deceased wife left..." Soldaer looks at her. "Although he's over three thousand years old." Soldaer chuckles.
"Mmm... I see. Do you know when they come back?"
Soldaer shakes his head. "No, unfortunately I do not. Hopefully soon though, since me and Nia are now engaged."
"Okay... Um... Should I just leave you two alone? I don't know the cultural protocol."
