Sending to Phantom: Hey, can I ask you for some directions in your hoard?
You didn't need to waste the spell slot Gwen. Phantom says as he rounds a corner. "Where would you like to go?" He asks, chuckling slightly.
"Well, I wanted to see where the map section was." Gwen say, embarrassed
He smiles. "Back right corner of the library; shelves 136-149 to be specific."
"Thanks! Man, I really need to do the giant reading binge soon."
He chuckles. "You could spend the next 100 years reading my library, and still not be done, Gwen. It is the complete literary history of this continent for the past 4,000 years."
She frowns. "Well I got the power to not need to drink, eat, sleep, or breath. Might as well use it."
Phanom chuckles. "I don't need food or drink, and need to sleep far less than I normally should. Believe me when I say it would still take me centuries to read everything in that library."
"Mmm... Want to select a smaller section of the library you feel I should read?"
"That depends entirely on your interests." He says. "Just...warn me if you decide to go reading through the section on the Creation War. There's a book in there that I wrote and that details the darkest part of my history." A shadow seems to cross his face, and his eyes grow a bit darker as well, as though he's holding in dark emotions and memories. He shakes his head, and it vanishes. "I'm going to head down into my study. There's something I should do..." His voice trails off as he heads down towards the library at his normal walking speed (60ft/turn)
Gwen tries to run after the dragon
He follows the tunnels to the library, pushing the doors open without any real effort. When Gwen reaches the library doors, they're still open, and there was the sound of stone grinding against stone coming from along the wall to the right of the entrance to the library, but within the library itself.
Gwen looks to see what is happening.

She doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary.
She sighs, disappointed before retiring to her hoard, still watching the wall
About a day and a half later, a section of wall behind on of the tapestries sinks back and moves to the side, and Phantom walks out, seeming both refreshed and drained oddly. He shifts to his elf form and sits in one of the couches with a sigh as the wall moves back to its normal position.
"You okay?" Gwen says, gently putting her book down before rushing over. *Detect magic*
*Nothing. It's mechanical for the door. Think Minecraft Redstone style mechanism.*
He nods. "Just...something I needed to do..." He sighs again. He holds out a new, hand-written book. "This...this was hard...but necessary." He smiles sadly. "This...this is everything that happened between me and Caelum, my wife. From our first meeting to her death at our wedding......it's everything." A single tear falls and lands on the ornate, leather-bound cover.

*Please do. I'm on mobile and can't do that easily, or I would've.*
"I know that you're an undead of sorts based on Orchid's reaction to your petting her at first. Only undead are cold enough to cause her to shiver at their touch." He chuckles. "As for what specifically, I'd guess a vampire of some form based on your immediate like of questioning regarding Yuri's vampirism." He takes another drink from the bottle.
*Ditto. That took forever to cut*
"Indeed, although she has never died to be one."
Iralias nods. "That explains her... appetite then. Undead usually don't have that particular need." He smiles wryly before finishing the bottle and ordering another, paying with a platinum piece.
"How is hers different then normal vampires? Klankixes, that is."
He raises an eyebrow, obviously a bit confused.
"How is Yuri's condition different from a vampirism of a common vampire."
"She's still living, for one, as you've already pointed out. As for anything else," he shrugs. "I know that much, and nothing more really."
"I see. And you don't know what a Klankixes vampire is?"
Iralias shakes his head. "Nope. Not familiar with there even being different types, aside from normal and Nosferatu, and apparently, living ones."
"Mmm... If you want to, I can tell you. But mind if I ask a favor first?"
"And what would that be?" He says, taking a drink from his bottle.
"I would... I am hungry." They admit
"And.................... I am cursed to only feed on the willing. I ask that you could feed me." They say, as they pull out money
Iralias seems slightly taken aback. "And...would I become a vampire like yourself...??"
Lazarus sighs at seeing their reaction. "No, you would not become a vampire, unless I were to kill you. Of course, that would be a detrimental to both you and me."
Iralias leans back and takes a long drink from the bottle. "I...I'm not sure..."
Lazarus thinks for a while. "May I know your fears so I can diswade them? I will pay you if you want. I will grant you music if you want." They say, as the fiddle with a vial bound around their neck
"It's just...odd...I'm a little uncomfortable is all." He says, taking another drink form the bottle.
"Mmm... Well I can't force you. You haven't met vampires before?"
Iralias shakes his head. "Aside from Yuri, no, I haven't. Vampires don't usually live for very long in the Feywild."
"Mmm... Because of the connection to the shadowfell?"
He shrugs. "Probably, although they just simply don't live long. Sunlight is readily found everywhere the Seelie Court holds sway, and even the Unseelie Court won't brook a vampire in their territory."
Lazarus is about to correct them but decides against it. "I see... Well, mind if we continue to hang out?"
Iralias smiles. "Of course not. Just...don't keep asking me to let you feed on me." He says with a wary smile, and a faint chuckle. "If I decide to let you, I'll let you know, though."
"Thank you." He says, thinking of something. "What is your favorite song?"
