Eaton rubs his eyes and smiles he props Paris up and walks him to his bed. He lays him down then goes and looks at the replica of Smidge
Paris snores and turns over. The replica is expertly crafted, and seems to be made of mostly bronze. Its' tail and back legs are unfinished.

The outer ring, from the edge of those buildings to the wall, is filled with a more gruesome landscape. Buildings in ruins, completely destroyed or heavily damaged, some places seeming to have stains from blood. A deadland that looks like it was burned, blown up, and magically attacked.E stands next to him, looking over the scene somber

Soldaer laughs. "Not today. I have a standing invitation for E to have drinks with me at some point, but since she's already taken, you have no need to get jealous."
"Not jealous... well maybe a little" she said "Y'know, there is always Fin who is downstairs."
"First you want me to invite Atemos, and now you want me to invite Fin?!" Soldaer sounds exasperated, but is obviously teasing her.
She chuckles, crossing her legs. "Why not, its a party"
"And how would you react if I did invite E?" He says, definitely teasing her now.
"Jealous, but i would make you just as jealous if i were to drag fin's butt up here" she said, her eyes glinting a bit as she grinned.
Soldaer chuckles. "I have reason to be jealous there, since Fin isn't attached. E is, and would leave as soon as I tried anything. That, or she'd slap me, or both."
Meets DC beats it. She becomes sober fairly quickly "Oh..... hello, Soldaer. I.... Said quite a lot, didnt I...."
Soldaer laughs. "Yeah, a decent bit. I think you were just about as drunk as you were back in Sigil."
"Just about.... usually happens weekly. You.... Wanted to know about Joshua?"
Soldaer chuckles slightly. "If you're willing to tell me, then yes."
She sighs "Follow me" She begins walking towards the end of the world
Soldaer nods, and follows.
She walks through a certain spot in the void wall
Soldaer stops momentarily before shrugging and following E through.
He walks through a hidden portal, finding himself outside what would look like the gates of a large city. However, inside only around half the city seems built, the inner core full of buildings made out of lustrous black and white stone. The outer ring, from the edge of those buildings to the wall, is filled with a more gruesome landscape. Buildings in ruins, completely destroyed or heavily damaged, some places seeming to have stains from blood. A deadland that looks like it was burned, blown up, and magically attacked.E stands next to him, looking over the scene somber
What happened here, E? Soldaer asks, obviously shocked.

Ohhh....Soldaer just goes silent for a minute, trying to process the sight.

Then.... The current lord of the city died of old age. The next in line was his son, Joshua. 'Lord' Joshua was a greedy scumbag. He made the city unlivable for anyone not noble. The taxes were unpayable, the property unaffordable, and anyone who spoke against him, r anyone he saw as a threat to his power would be publicly executed. And that doesnt even start on his scandals...
Soldaer nods. I see...

Considering her mother was apparently single... Its strange that the aunt would be on the fathers side. And that theyd own property despite it being so expensive...

A WEEK!!? Soldaer yells, a slight growl tinging his voice.
She nods He wanted Kalnor dead fast...
I've gathered....Soldaer is still clearly angry, but calming down slightly.
There... Was only really one way I could see to help him.. To get him out...

She shakes her head Not yet. I was a single person.. Theres nothing I could possibly to to get in by myself. There were too many guards. Many with their own magic

Paris seems to be making a replica of Smidge. He is taking apart some of his other half-finished creations for extra parts.

Paris has fallen asleep on his work bench. He has his mask off, and his hood down. You can see the rest of his scar. It seems to have shredded most of his right ear, and it stretches down to his cheek. A near-perfect replica of smidge lays next to him on the workbench. Some spare parts have rolled onto the floor.
Eaton rubs his eyes and smiles he props Paris up and walks him to his bed. He lays him down then goes and looks at the replica of Smidge
Paris snores and turns over. The replica is expertly crafted, and seems to be made of mostly bronze. Its' tail and back legs are unfinished.
"This is amazing." he whispers
Paris stirs in the other room and sits up. In a moment of panic he pulls his hood up and walks into the other room.
"Paris this is amazing!" Eaton says excitedly
"Uhh...." Paris hurriedly grabs his mask and puts it on. "T-Thanks."
"You don't have to hide your face around me you know."
Paris sighs. "You saw it, didn't you."
"Yeah....."
Paris takes the mask off and sits down. At a closer look, his eyes have a purple sheen on them. "I guess there's no reason to wear this then."
Eaton rests his head on his chin and looks into Paris's eyes. "You know I think Smidge likes you."
Paris smirks. "That's good to know."
*Sorry english class*
"Sure is." Smidge flies over to Paris and lands on his shoulder
*Oof*
Paris stands up. "Do you wanna get something to eat?"
"Sure." He says while standing up
Paris affixes the mask to his face and opens the door, motioning for Eaton to go through first.
Eaton goes through and Smidge remains of Paris's shoulder
Paris closes the door behind him and goes downstairs.
Eaton is sitting at a table with a smile on his face
Paris plucks Smidge from his shoulder and places them on the table. He sits down next to Eaton. "I got the scar from a bandit, if you were wondering."
Smidge settles down on Eatons head. "Well I was curious but I won't pry."
