Soldaer comes sprinting down the stairs, a wide smile on his face. He waves to a few friends and runs out the door, not stopping until he reaches the tree-staircase thingy. When he reaches it, he pulls a scroll out of a pocket, and starts reciting it in druidic. *move earth* He starts excavating a rather large pit over the next hour, slowly creating what looks like a completely empty lake. He then sits back and surveys his handiwork.
A little vine sprouted out of the ground at soldaer's feet.
*He's still in the safety field, so second danger foliage can't hurt him. Safety field is from the void wall, not tavern. Hehehehe*
Soldaer regards it curiously for a minute, before shrugging and proceeding to cast dozens of water-based spells into the dry lakebed, filling it up.
*its the same danger foliage, and danger foliage doesn't know about the blessing balance thing*
it grows tremendously swiftly, attempting to wrap around Soldaer's leg.
Soldaer just pulls his leg out and walks about 50 feet away to the tree-staircase-thingy, where he plants a third seed, and starts chanting in elvish and druidic again. The seed quickly sprouts and grows into a birch tree that replaces the interior of the staircase, and soon all three trees have almost seamlessly merged and are growing rapidly, even outpacing danger foliage. By the time they reach about 50 ft, the staircase opens to one side with a platform that seems to be constructed from interwoven branches, and which quickly solidifies and starts forming into a room.
danger foliage attempts to scale the tree and start choking them. *there is an actual vine that chokes trees. i can't remember how it works, but it's really cool*
*Yeah, I know.*
Danger foliage fails to choke the trees, and with how rapidly the trees are growing, actually ends up getting torn to pieces. Soldaer stops his chanting momentarily, and the trees slow, as he casts speak with plants and turns to danger foliage. Please leave me alone. I am trying to grow a home for me, my fiancé, and my yet unborn child. Besides, I am a druid of no small power. I have no quarrel with any plant, but if you continue, I may have to, at the very least, transplant you.
Danger foliage thought for a moment, because they are capable of thoughts, and said, "fine. but don't try to move me."
Soldaer smiles. Thank you. This area will soon be a place for any and all wildlife though, so if you don't want animals snooping around in you, I'd suggest you relocate on your own. He pauses. Also, you cannot harm anything, plant, animal, or otherwise, within 150 ft of the void anyways, so...Soldaer shrugs. Up to you where you want to go.
"-that... would have been useful a day ago."

The Plant responded with blooming a single, bright pink flower in seconds. it smelled like brownies.

it does absolutely nothing. except strangle a monkey that tried eating it.

A groggy nia wakes up before soldaer, still feeling nauseous
Soldaer wakes up as soon as Nia starts shifting and waking up. Hey there, beautiful. How're you feeling?
I feellike throwing up, so not the best. She trys to give a smile
Soldaer nods, and still looks a bit worried. Unfortunately, I don't have any spells that'll help with morning sickness, my love. If you need it, you know where the bathroom is though. He sighs, and climbs out of bed. He gives Nia a hug and a kiss before putting his armor and weapons back on. I'll get back to work on our home, my love. You can always reach me with telepathy. If you need me, I'll be back in a heartbeat. He gives her another kiss.
Nia nods, returning the hugs and kisses, "Thanks Sol," She smiles, "I'll try not to throw up though"
Soldaer chuckles. I just worry about you sometimes. He says with a slightly worried smile. Although...He begins, smiling somewhat as he moves back to his nightstand/desk and pulls the ring back out. Considering we're going to be parents before long, wouldn't you say it's time? He asks, somewhat hesitantly, and definitely both nervous and hopeful.
She smiles, walking over to him and nodding, "Guess now would be a good enough time as any"
Soldaer smiles, and slides the ring onto her finger, his eyes nearly glowing again. He wraps her in his arms and kisses her long and tenderly. You realize that you're now crown princess of our people, right? He says when he backs away, smiling slightly.
"Well, once we're legally married, yes." She laughs, returning the kiss
Soldaer laughs. "Very true. My parents gave me the proper diadem that you would wear in case this very thing happened." He says with a smile.
"-that... would have been useful a day ago."

*Should probably limit it to like 1/day for how often it can be cast. It is a 3rd level spell after all, and surprisingly powerful too.*

Soldaer laughs again. Well, if you'd like, you are free to stay here, so long as you promise not to harm any humanoids or visitors I may have. You should be able to live in peace, if that is what you'd like, or, if you'd prefer, you can live on the far side of the lake I just made. That is out of the safety field, but still in my haven area. Same promise regarding guests though, but you will be free to do basically what you wish there.

Soldaer frowns. While there are those who I would love to see you do that to, I can't say I approve...Besides, most of the people here know me, and are at least acquaintances that I like, if not actually friends. His voice has slowly taken on a hard edge as he spoke.
"Calm down, ok. It'll all be alright." Kai says to them

Hello....???? Currently talking to a murderous vine thingy here...kinda wants to suck people's minds dry and leave them nothing. Luckily I'm a powerful druid and within the safety field, so it can't do anything to me, even if it wanted to.
