Nothing happens, oddly enough. "Looking for me, are you?" A voice says from in the rafters.
The gnoll looked up, still smiling. "You're slippery! That's what I love about elfies. Always fun to chase. Especially in a big forest, when they think they can escape."
The gnoll still doesn't see him. (used a level 5 slot for a Greater Invisibility spell) "Well, this one's got a bit of a bite." He says with a laugh.
Soldaer is wandering the halls of the palace in his home city.
Phantom is outside, resting on the grass, not bothered by the rain in the least.
Yazrin and Iralias are both available and interchangeable.
Daybreak wanders over towards the Dragon in Calico Cat form. when they get about 20 feet from Phantom, they send them a telepathic message, Hello, Phantomizakell.
Hello again Daybreak. He smiles faintly.
i know this might sound strange, but could you possibly open a portal to another world? My hoard is in The world known as the High seas, and i can't reach there myself. said Daybreak, who started levitating.
He chuckles. One of the few worlds I don't know.
Daybreak sighs, turns into a halfling, and verbally says, "So, you can't?"
He clambers to his feet, at least partly. "No, I'm afraid not."
"well, there goes millions of gold and 3 of the world's most priceless artifacts. Unless somebody here knows The spell Dream of the blue veil."
He chuckles. "Wait here." He vanishes in a swirl of mist, and returns a few minutes later with a scroll. "Here."
"-please tell me this isn't a scroll of true strike. that has happened to me way to many times." Daybreak Takes the scroll.
*also, i made a tavernpedia entry for Daybreak!*
It just so happens to be one for Dream of the Blue Veil.
"Believe me, I hoard knowledge, including spell scrolls. I have at least 3 copies of just about every spell known."
*I saw. Nice, although a little surprised Phantom wasn't on his "Positive" relationships list.*
"thank you, Thank you. sadly, i was banished here by some magic and, believe me, i've tried, i can't stay on any world besides entropy for more than an hour without being shunted back. and the only thing i haven't tried was dream of the blue veil. but an hour should be enough to collect my hoard. Did i say thank you yet?"
*i forgot that- i'll update it. it probably didn't come to mind because Daybreak Just asked Phantom for directions which he didn't provide. but... Another Greatwyrm!*
*No worries, lol.*
Phantom chuckles. "Yes, you did, and it's no problem."
"Alright, i suppose its only fair i give you something of mine once i retrieve it, so... anything in particular you want? I have Many, Many magic items."
Phantom chuckles. "I have all I need, to be honest, including the complete literary history of my continent for the past 4,000 years."

Gwen is still hugging Phantom: You... don't know what I have been through either
He smiles sadly and breaks the hug. "Wait here. There's something you need to read." He gets up and heads into the shelves. About 10 minutes later, he returns with another leather-bound book, the cover of which is heavily tear-stained. "Read this, Gwen." He says, holding it out to her, his hand shaking slightly.
"Sure." They say, before sitting down on a bean bag and beginning to read it
*Read the first section of Phantom's Tavernpedia. This is the purely unadulterated story of his time in the Creation War, including the death of his father and what happened afterwards.*
Gwen is unphased. "Mmm... How similar." They comment
(You lost control and killed thousands of would-be allies? Because that's what happened. Father was butchered by Gelmion, and I snapped. It took me centuries to get over what happened, and what I did.)
"I... My siblings unleashed war upon my realm, by killing my mom Infront of my eyes. Death and destruction we all brought, some till the end...... Even me for a time."
Phantom nods slowly. "Then we are indeed rather similar." He pauses as though there is something else he wants to say, but he doesn't, instead he sits back down with a sign.
"Look, whatever you tell me I won't tell anyone.......... Or if you don't want to do that, then I would love to know how you chose your humanoid form?"
He smiles ever so slightly. "You would've fit in perfectly with me and Caelum. She would've loved to have met you, Gwen." A single tear falls from his eye.
They think for a bit, hugging them. "Which afterlife are they in?"
"That...is complicated..." He sighs. "She isn't in any of them, and yet I will still be with her again someday." He snorts. "I don't even understand it, so don't ask me to explain..."
"Mmm... I think I know what she means, but then again I could be wrong." They think for a while. "You would love to meet Auntie if she would calm down, and there are other what ifs that I am sure would bring us both joy... But don't try to escape reality. It never works."
He chuckles. "I know that, Gwen. I'm not trying to escape reality." He smiles wryly. "It's complicated, but somehow, she became her world's dragon deity. I don't know how, but she did."
"Well you believe in her right? You believe in her caringness and her wonder. A whole city knew of it. That belief is powerful, and it works... If that all makes sense."
Phantom nods and smiles a bit, another tear falling.
"Sorry..." They say, trying to change the conversation
Phantom smiles and lays a hand on her shoulder. "It's fine, Gwen. I need to face it all anyways, don't I?"
"Um.. I guess." They think for a bit. "So how is the city doing?"
He shrugs. "I haven't had too much time to check on it, but it should be doing fine. There are perfectly capable stewards and other rulers in place in my stead."
"I see... I might have a favor to ask you. I am debating whether I should..."

Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
Soldaer is walking the palace halls, smiling slightly.
Phantom is either in his lair or sitting on the couch in the tavern (Via Timewarps)
Iralias/Yazrin are both available (Interchangeable/your choice)
Yacatl walks over, waving to them while fiddling with some gears
Yazrin smiles slightly, drinking from a glass of red-tinged Feywine.
Yacatl looks at the wine, intrigued. "How goes it?"
He shrugs. "It goes." He sets the glass down on the bar next to a bottle.
"I see... Mind if I have some to drink?" They say, motioning to the bottle
Yazrin smiles. "Go ahead."
He takes a sample, pours some golden dust into it and mixes it with the potion. "Thanks. So... How is Riley?"
*It's rather strong Feywine with a spiced Cherry undercurrant.*
Yazrin chuckles slightly. "I honestly don't know. I haven't seen her in a week or so, and haven't heard from the other......entity, in at least as long."
*And brewed in the feywild?*
"Mmm... Is that a good thing or bad thing?" They say, looking at their concoction
*Nope. This is something they have at the bar.*
Yazrin shrugs. "Both, I guess. Good that I'm not being harassed by that entity to do something I didn't ever want to do, and bad because I don't know where Riley is, or what's happened to her, or anything of the sort."
*That doesn't mean it wasn't fermented in the wilds*
"Mmm... Want me to help look for her?"
He shrugs again. "Hopefully she'll turn up soon. If not, I'll move on..." He doesn't sound entirely sure.
"Look, 'absence makes the heart grow founder'. If she is gone, then you can idolize her. Wash away all her flaws."
"Memories, even idolized ones, don't help keep your bed warm at night." He scoffs a bit cynically.
"Mmm... I could pay you. Pay you to get things for me................. If you are open to it." Yacatl says, trying to sound friendly
"And what exactly are you talking about?" He asks, quite a bit confused.
"I could pay you to get materials for me to brew stuff... Or like a body guard or something. Get the bills paid."
He chuckles and pulls a pouch off his belt, setting it on the bar. "Take a look inside." He says, smiling before taking another drink.
Yacatl does so, worrying that this might be a trick. "Sure..."
Inside, there's at least 100 platinum pieces. Yazrin grins. "I'm not in need of money, Yacatl. I have the hoard of a Deep Dragon at my disposal, although it cost me much in pain and blood to defeat that particular enemy."
"Oh... Then what did you mean about sleeping while cold?"

*Daybreak, Bolehs, Ursula. And Danger Foliage is talkin To Raphael*
"You want to try Goodberries? Hopefully, the magic works." They say, as the pair make their way to the tavern
"if you think it will.." As they make their way to the tavern, Danger Foliage starts burrowing their roots into the ground.
"What are you doing?" They say, as they hop off and view the root growing
"am i not allowed to re-root myself?" As they said that, the Enormous Flowers Of Danger Foliage Start spewing out enormous clouds of pollen.
Raphael just collects the nector. "Yes, I was just curious. Sorry if that came out wrong."

"Did you fail at Grammar?" Danger Foliage is asking this as a legitimate question, not an insult. as Raphael Collects the Nectar, The pollen that collects on his face creates a burning sensation, though not enough to do actual harm.
*Poison pollen. Yay*
*Raphael can also choose not the breath*
Raphael dusts the pollen off. No, I don't think so. Sometimes the translation stuff doesn't work great. Why do you ask?
"because you seriously must practice. i know 74 languages, including celestial."
*its poisonous to the touch, but it would probably be a lessened effect if they don't breath it in*
*Got it*
Raphael dusts it off with a glove. Nice. I know every language. I just ran into the problem of saying yes as in yes you are aloud to do it... if that makes sense. Also, I have a question after this
"alright, thank you for the clarification. now, whats your question?"
Is your pollen posionous or something?
"not enough to cause permanent injury to anything larger than lizards. i use it usually to ward of creatures who try to eat my flowers, like deer."
Oh... Sorry if you view me as a threat They say, feeling sad
"...its fine." They reply, patting them on the back with a vine the size they are.
Raphael smiles at them. Thanks Danger! Has anyone hugged you?
"hugged?"
You haven't?!?!?!??! They say, shocked
"i am a 300 year old plant that feeds on the minds of creatures who dare stray to close to me. What even is a HUG?"
an act of holding someone tightly in one's arms, typically to express affection. They say, before hugging one of the plant's legs.
"i cannot tell if i enjoy this because i am charmed or because i genuinely enjoy this, but i hope the ladder."
Raphael frowns and tries to hug them tighter. I am sorry... I am sorry that I had to charm you... I wish it was different, I truly do
Danger Foliage Simply Returns the hug.
*okay this is truly wholesome if you forget the whole mind eating plant thing*
*Hopefully Raphael can finds a way around that*
Raphael smiles warmly. Thank you, for everything Danger.
Danger Foliage's Flowers stopped emitting clouds of pollen.
then, something alarming happened.
the smallest of the Crimson flowers started to shrivel up and die.
*make a DC 30 Nature check*
Raphael begins to breath again.
Oh no. You feeling okay? Need something to eat
Raphael uses healing touch. Danger Foilage magically regains 19 hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blindness, or deafness.

Danger Foilage magically regains 29 hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blindness, or deafness.
Nature: 18
The flower's shriveling halted for a few moments, before continuing. then, the second flower started dying.
"ahh, already?" Said danger Foliage.
Raphael knows nothing of what is happening, but sees the last few golden drops of nectar about to drip to the floor. a few drops being enough to save lives.
