The doors to Yvonne's office burst open. Yvonne, in a dark violet suit with jet black tie, walks out of her office ready for battle. Mug of tea in one hand and remote in the other, she hurries towards the Gathering Hall of the Spider Guild's Lair.
A familiar dark-skinned elf is standing in the hall outside her office, leaning against the wall. "I've been wondering when you'd show." He says with a slight smile, his royal blue eyes shining. A glowing crown studded mainly with emeralds, rubies, and sapphires, with a single star sapphire at each point, sits on his head, and, for a brief moment, a pair of glowing wings manifest behind him.
*You guys deserve an apology. I'm sorry about not letting you know about the vacation, and I'm sorry for just leaving without another word. I hope I can do better as queen in the future.*
*It's alright. Things come up and people forget things. It's part of life.*

This is exactly why minty should be queen
Because I made a mistake? I will not question your beliefs, but I do think that it's acceptable for a leader to make errors like any normal person would. None of us are perfect at everything we do, even if we think otherwise.

A set of 5 beams of brilliant light appear in the main chamber of the Spider guild. Out of the first one steps a dark-skinned male elf with shoulder-length silver-blue hair and royal blue eyes. He wears two long, curved swords on his belt, along with a blackened bow on his back. His deep purple armor is most unusual: it has blades and points coming out of various points along it; the shoulders, elbows, wrists... As he stands there, a glowing crown flares into existence on his head, one made out of red gold set with rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, and a single, large star sapphire on each point of the crown.
Out of each of the other beams step similar, powerful entities: A dwarf with a black beard that seems coated in frost wearing heavy plate armor carrying a cold, blue-glowing greataxe and a heavy shield; A tall, fair-skinned, wood elf with blonde hair, wearing Mithral-studded leather with a heavy longbow on her back and a pair of shortswords on her belt; A human mage wearing ornate robes with an equally ornate staff, and multiple wands along his belt; and a huge, powerfully built gold dragonborn wearing a suit of adamantite armor that seems to flow with his movements with a heavy longsword on his belt and a tall, adamantite-plated shield.

Yvonne emerges from the Armory, clad in Silksteel plate. However, she carries no weapons: No axes, shields, bows, or spell books of any variety. In their stead, she holds a single blue rose in an ornately painted porcelain pot.
"I'm glad all of you are here. We may need to fight to defend the Guild, but not against Minty. I've sent multiple messages to her proposing a peaceful resolution, and we've agreed that our factions are neutral: Not quite at peace, but we're getting there. However, it seems that one ruffian, Dndlover_2, has threatened to attack several times, and shows no signs of backing down so far. We need to be prepared for attack, but we are not going to provoke them: If a war does start, they will be the ones to attack first. If we were to strike first, it might discourage our potential ally Minty from withholding our neutrality, possibly resulting in an all-out war: No one wants that."
Yvonne snaps her fingers, and a small rift forms in the air next to her. From it, she pulls a folded-up blueprint, and the rift dissipates. "If there is war on the horizon, we need to make the Guild's Lair a fortress to ride through any attack. Any suggestions?"

A single black octopus flop/scoots its way into the sanctuary. "I apologize for my tardiness Yvonne, the minds of Bucket pledge their support, as do Kond, Corpos, Orvar, Etheros, and their warlocks." As he speaks the names a different kind of presence is felt. Kond is felt as a sense of terrible inevitability of fate, of wyrd. Corpos is like a pernicious brew of every physical impulse experienced by man or beast. Orvar is felt as the presence of vast intelligence. Etheros is felt as a flighty flash of zealous inspiration. Saelihn Tressatra, Matron Goddess of rangers and hunters, the wood elf curtsies, Doraggic Frostbeard, Patron Gods of clerics and paladins, the dwarf nods curtly, but politely, Elidain Undaphior, Patron God of Mages, the human goes into a deep, regal bow, And Aliadnind Stormsword, Patron God of Fighters and warriors.
