*Actually, you know what? I have my character already!*
*Sounds great! It's been about a 30-year time skip since Konton last slowed to a halt, so I imagine they'd be a bit older now.*
*Oh no, this is new.*
*Welcome to my world!* *evil laughter*
*But seriously, some things have changed since where we last left things off. Don't worry, I'll explain it all.*
*i'll just have them appear in the street lol:*
A person in a hooded robe stumbles as they wake up in the middle of the road. Their face is hidden by the hood, but an orange light spills onto objects it looks at
It's dark around, the sickly yellow light of the street lamps flickering faintly. There's no cars around, and most of the buildings have their lights off. There's no stars in the sky, but a churning massive cloud of... something.
From the darkness, a hobbled figure in a hood and rags approaches you.
The hooded figure welcomes them with semi open arms, being only a little weary of them
They slightly pull back their hood, revealing an old kenku with a large hole in its upper beak. They look over the strange figure, slightly suspicious.
"Have you just arrived, new one?" They speak in the voice of an old man.
Theres a small click noise, and they nod, speaking in a soft voice, "Yes. I'm new here."
"Follow me, there's a place you can stay until you get used to City 78." They retreat into a back alley, their midnight-black feathers almost disappearing in the shadows.
The figure follows the kenku after a moments hesitation

The strange kenku leads them down a series of winding back alleys, until they see a little building wedged into the cracks. A rusty sign, 'Starhoppers', lay on the ground in front of the old brick building. The kenku knocks on the door in a specific pattern, and the door creaks open.
