"Mhm, just concerned my best line chef won't be ready for tomorrow." He chuckles.
She giggles madly, hugging his neck. (I love that curse I made for her.)
"Oh? Oh no no no, I don't want to waste your time my friend." He smiles
"I'm pretty sure Rag will be ready for work tomorrow." He genuinely says, smiling wide.
He takes her inside, getting her an appointment with doctor Gigli (It is very dramatic, I love drama.)
"I have nothing to do but time to be generous, let me make you something." He walks outside, coming back with a pot, and some ingredients.
"I need you both to be there in one piece." He grumbles.
Luckily, he has a spot open. The two are escorted back and into an operating room. The good doctor sits in a chair, dressed in his uniform "Hello there Stroth, Sparrow. How goes the marriage?" He asks, despite them now only meeting.
Luciano does his best to help him but his shaking hands seem to drop more things than anything. he at least lights a fire in the fireplace for him.
"Sure! Sounds like it'd be fun!" She also begins reading everything on the pages with keen interest.
"Yes, yes, but so do I. The sun's light is the finest delicacy I can find. And I am very hungry." It laughs a booming laugh, the very sky seemingly dimming in response for a moment."After all, there are so many stars across the world! What's one sun less? It'll be decades at least before anyone notices!"
"Good ta hear, we should get ta tryin' on it soon enough." She pat their head, walking over to her cave, putting away all of her things.
They look around in fear, looking to the sky, confused by the darkening "C-can't you take a different star...? One that isn't needed... for surviving...?" He says, his skin reverting back to the plastic he once had.
She follows Merabelle, helping her put things away and using prestidigitation to clean some of the paintbrushes.
"Does that really matter in the grand scheme of things? When I get far enough along in my plans, I'll just make new ones and put them back before anyone has an inkling of an idea what I've done! Besides, this world can do without for a little while." It truly doesn't seem to fully grasp the consequences of what it's planning on doing.
Once they are all away, she turns to them "Now when do ya want to start, sweetheart? Do ya want ta eat somethin' first? You've earned it."
His eyes flash as if information were being sent into his mind "If the sun was gone... we would all be dead in minutes... less maybe... if you get close... you'll die... even if you replace it... everyone will die..." He begins to softly cry in fear.

Sparrow sighs, another person knows more about him or Stroth then they should, and as a result he feels like he's out of control, afraid something bad will happen to the woman he loves. All of that flashes in his eyes before he smiles and says "Doin' good, but we ain't here fer small talk unfortunately. Stroth can explain."
Whenever he drops something, Rag easily catches it and continues to work, never saying anything against their help, just happy to have them try "Thank you, but this meal is for you."

"I know, I know. But in my kitchen, you are family and I take care of my family." He nods.
Gigli looks up "Don't worry, patient-doctor confidently is in play here. Anything I know does not leave this building nor does it passed on inside here." he nods and walks over to Stroth. He sighs, checking her over "Smells like a blood curse. Did you do something foolish?" he asks her and she nods. He turns to Sparrow "She cursed him and, in turn, it affected her body. From the smell, it was the 'crooked man' curse. The victim cannot escape the user, whose body becomes a grotesque form to chase them down. The curse allows the user to become faster, have a longer reach, better hearing, better sight, and a bunch of other things."
"I know my son but I was always told that more hands mean less work." He smiles.

He tilts his head at the word 'family', feeling something when he hears at, and that shows in his eyes, not only love, but intense spite and hatred.
He takes a deep breath "An' I'm assumin' there's some kind o' cost ta this curse she had ta pay? I wish I knew half as much 'bout magic as yall do, least I could understand what's goin' on when somethin' like a blood curse happens." He holds Stroth's hand, rubbing his temple with the other, taking slow breaths, in and out.
He finishes up the meal, passing it over to them "Eat, please father." He says, returning the smile.

Of course, as always it's delicious, because Rag made sure it would be.
