"IN LIGHT OF THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, I HAVE BROUGHT YOU ALL GIFTS."
A booming voice echoes from a large merchant ship, designed with beauty in mind but poorly maintained over the years.
"THE HOMELESS, THE ILLEGAL, THE VILE. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE TASTED... CHOCOLATE? FRESH MEDITERRANEAN FRUITS? PEPPERS FROM SOUTH AMERICA? BEER FROM NORTH? HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE FELT THE WARMTH OF A MOTHER'S QUILT? COME AND TAKE MY OFFERINGS."
A stocky, pleasingly plump gatorfolk stands on the very tip of the boat, a PA mic to his dark-scaled snout. He wears warm colors, all reds, oranges and purples, and in many soft, cozy layers. A feathered tricorne cap sits atop his head with a bullet hole in the middle.
"I WILL NOT ACCEPT OBJECTIONS. YOU CAN TAKE IT, YOU MAY LEAVE IT, BUT YOU MAY NOT STOP ME! THIS IS MY GOOD DEED FOR THE MONTH, AND I DON'T WANT IT WASTED!"
Father Luciano watches from afar, cloaked in his silver and white clergy garb. He holds his spear in one hand, his thumb running over the designs on the hilt anxiously.
Thane was sitting nearby when they began to make their speech, sharpening his axe, the sound of stone against sharp metal, the runes on his skin faded, his oily arm flowing.
The gatorfolk jumps off the ship as soon as the dock is within reach of his leap. "You there!" He calls, pointing at Thane. "Anything you want from the ship?"

The gatorfolk jumps off the ship as soon as the dock is within reach of his leap. "You there!" He calls, pointing at Thane. "Anything you want from the ship?"
He looks up to them, putting his axe into the ground next to them, his hands on his lap, his rumbling “Is there anything I would want?” He asks curiously, but sounding more intimidating.
Marie has a bounty on her head, and as a result, while busy grave robbing, was attacked by the infamous man known only as the bounty hunter, and is currently fighting them to what will likely be the death. At this rate, Marie isn’t going to beat them on her own, though there are several poison darts and knives in them. She is bleeding from deep cuts in her mid section and shoulder.
Jax, who's never far from her, steps in, standing between her and them. "Rough night?" he jests, running two frosty fingers over each wound, sealing them temporarily.
She holds her pickaxe in one hand, another knife in the other, seemingly infinite numbers within her grasp. She chuckles at Jax’s jest, but the bounty hunter silently points at them. Jax feels he’s been marked.
He growls, dashing back away from it, pulling out a sword with a maroon hilt, and a black, curved, and cursed blade. "Who the hell is this guy?"
She keeps her blade up “I don’t know, he just started attacking me.” The man points to a nametag on his black clothes shirt, his armor underneath. The nametag says, ‘The bounty hunter’
"You're a criminal? You're ruining my good name, you know." he huffs, running a finger over the edge of his blade, drawing blood and imbuing the blade with it, adding 2d8 ice damage for 4 turns.
“Oh come on Jax, don’t pretend you didn’t know. Oh, and you know you couldn’t live without me.” She takes the time to boop him on the nose, before throwing two more knives into the bounty hunter’s chest. To hit:1510 Damage:78
"I'm a bad liar, I know." he says, rushing forward with a flurry of slashes aimed at the man's chest.
Attack: 33 Damage: 26 + 6 Ice Damage
Attack: 29 Damage: 18 + 7 Ice Damage
Attack: 32 Damage: 18 + 4 Ice Damage
He raises two arms to block, but the cut cleave run through his armor, into his arms, though he doesn’t even grunt at the pain. He does collapse to the ground, his arms cut half way open.
"This guy's pissing me off..." he growls, making a swift thust into their face. Attack: 23 Damage: 9 + 8 Ice damage
"I'll enjoy burning his body in the fire in the cafe..."
They cut through the armor on their face, cutting into them. Marie stumbles over to them as the adrenaline runs out “I think I’m going to fall unconscious, I lost a bit of blood, and might have some new scars.”
he pulls his sword out of the guys face, it promptly disappearing into his demiplane. He rushes over to her, panicking. "[GP], Okay... uh, lets go get you patch up..." she says, carrying her to the bath-house.
She is too weak to resist being picked up, barely able to stay conscious and think straight “Thank you… I love you so much Jax… I want to be with you forever…” She says, her eyes barely open, still losing blood at every moment.
He hesitantly pulls away for a moment, pointing at an alley about a rooftop away
Scott nods and stands up "I'll go check it out okay?"
Tycho holds onto him, "I- I c-can come. I don't... i don't want to be alone"
"That's okay. I just don't want you getting upset anymore okay?" He hugs him again.
He nods softly, getting up with him, still clinging to his arm
Scott goes to the spot he marked out and explore the area around.
The alleyway is coated in dried blood, almost like thick paint
He grimaces, trying to stay brave. He pulls out his book and his pen, writing something down. In an instant, the world seems to blur as the blood suddenly disappears.
"T-That...?" Tycho tilts his head,
"That was the books power. I found that once a month I can write something into existence or out of it." He explains "I just used my once a month today to get rid of the blood and the person's existence entirely so they can't be tracked back to you.'
"W-why would you..." he looks down, holding onto scott a bitt tighter

Lilac-- who, at the sight of such a man and the promise of such things lights up immediatly, filled with childlike wonder-- pads up to the boat, and sits on her hinds. "Can I have a quilt?" she calls out to him.
"Of course!" He calls back. "What color would you like? Ah, I'm joking, they're every color!" He snaps his fingers and a couple smugglers in warm clothes start unloading crates and crates of goods. One of them brings the gatorfolk a hand-made quilt, which he presents to Lilac with great fanfare (but not taking too much time about it). "Viola! As warm as the day it was made!"
