She gets back up from hugging them "I'll keep that in mind, how 'bout you help me chop veges?" She walks back over to the mincing station.
He nods. "Of course." When he chops, he uses a big knife to fit his chubby paws, but uses a surprising amount of speed given the weight of the implement.
On a particularly rainy day, a couple of dozen seemingly random people (including any characters of your choice) receive gilded letters sealed with dark blue wax, the symbol being a perfectly balanced scale. Opening it, you find it says:
“Dear resident of the Material Realm, you have been given the chance to attend an event of the lifetime, the Yuletide masquerade ball, Hosted by the Rippling Court!” It goes on to talk of the dress code (masks, anything blue or white) the various events (a classical band, an opera performance, among other things). In addition, you can bring 1 person along with you. At the end of the letter, it says:
“Meet at the 17th hour at the local river. Transportation will arrive shortly, bring this letter as proof of invitation.
-The Rippling Court.”
Damian receive the letter and can't help but feel the need to go, heading to the river at the exact time require, dressed in an extravagant maroon three piece suit and wearing a decadent white mask to compliment his collar (don't ask), smirking softly, his wife, Saphuno in toe.
Once they eventually meets at the river they find, waiting for them, a small, elegantly designed boat painted white with blue patterns of waves, flowers, and storms, as well as the same scale symbol that was on the seal for the invitation. On the shore next to it is a finely dressed young man, wearing exclusively blues and whites. He looks at them expectantly.

Felix dresses in his snow-white finest, although he has trouble finding any blue items or masks. Eventually, he puts a dented metal pumpkin over his head and cuts eye holes into it, then puts on a blue tie. He brings with him a variety of small items in his coat, such as herbs and trinkets, along with the letter.

"We should resolve this issue by talking to the person who put out the bounty. It would be a lot easier than fighting every bounty hunter that comes along."
"Agreed. I think I remember where I left that hunter- Once I'm done digging out this pit, I'll go fetch him and see if he knows who did it."
"Thank you. And please don't hurt him. I'm sure it was just business."

Paia finds the note and begins to show it excitedly to brynn, who couldn't be less excited. Paia then proceeds to yap about balls, dancing, and everything associated for 20 minutes.

Paia hands him the letter with grace. Both are wearing hand-carved white poplar masks and white finery. Paia's mask resembles a rabbit, while Brynn's has the beak of a hawk. *Can you give me a perception check?*

KK finds one of these letters, and is immediately ecstatic at the prospect of attending. She begins tailoring an outfit for the ball, her mannequins assisting her in its creation.

KK, as well as a tall six-armed mannequin (the additional one she brought along with her), step onto the boat, with KK briefly showing the letter as proof of invitation. She wears a blue tailcoat and matching skirt with a white shirt and pants- the coat and shirt both having modified sleeves to accommodate for her four arms. All of her outfit has a faint silvery trim to it, and the mannequin has similar atttire. KK's mask, aside from the silver trim around its edges, is smooth and featureless, and her hair is tied back in a bun. The mannequin wears an identical mask, though that doesn't change its appearance much.
