"Agreed- such things can be settled tomorrow. I technically brought a +1, though they are a construct I made- a guard of sorts- so I'm not entirely sure if that counts."
She seems pleasantly surprised. “Oh, you built a construct? Tell me more!” She says. A guard is approaching the two of them. He eyes KK wearily.
"Oh, I've made multiple! They're all made of the parts of old mannequins- I mostly just stitch them together and animate them. Took a while to figure out how without them... well, we needn't talk of that." She shivers at the thought, eyeing the guard back behind her mask with a hint of suspicion.
Aurelia nods along as she recounts how she makes them, and the guard walks up to Aurelia, leans down, and whispers something in her ear. At first she seems concerned, then disappointed. She shoos the guard away, sighs, and takes a sip of her champagne. “Sorry ‘bout that. You were saying?”
KK pauses for a moment, trying to hear if she can make out any words without seeming suspicious, but stops when Aurelia directs her attention back at her. "No worries, your radiance. As I was about to say, I made them mostly for help with my tailoring and other projects, though many of them just wander about the woods around my studio. I consider them as much works of art as any of my other creations." She takes another sip as well.
She hears the words, ‘trial,’ ‘Testify,’ and, ‘Orator.’ “The woods? Where on earth is your studio, dear?”
KK nervously chuckles a little bit. "It's in the forest outside a place called Lord's Point. Lovely town, and a bit of a magnet for strange happenings."
“Lord’s point… that was the name of the town! I see. How’d you end up there?” She asks, taking another sip of her champagne.
KK notices that some of the chandeliers and lamps around the atrium are starting to flicker. (The Rippling Court has early electrical lighting, like 1800s level tech)
*Apologies for the delay*
"Died back at my previous reality, and was... 'resurrected' here. It's kinda difficult to explain the specifics." She takes another small sip of her drink as well, seeming oddly casual about what she just said as if that doesn't absolutely sound insane.
*I'd like to continue with the Yuletide Ball. I may not be able to go for super long, so I'm a little hesitant to start a new character interaction. Tomorrow, though, I'd love to interact with Mother Misery as well!*

she sets down her glass of champagne. ”Oh… I-uhm… interesting. Do you… remember anything from before?”
KK thinks for a second, as if trying to recall something. "Vaguely. Grew up in a small town, made a few friends, died to a ghost. I don't really think about it much." She briefly removes her mask for a second to readjust it, showing six emerald eyes that have W-shaped pupils like those of a cuttlefish, before putting it back on. "Apologies, the mask was slipping a bit." She explains.

She quickly hides her expression, muttering apologies as she calls over a servant to clean it. “Heh… S-Sorry.”

She collects herself, nervously chuckling.
I’m fine-…I guess… even centuries old Archfey can get startled-…” She says awkwardly.
KK somewhat nervously chuckles as well. "Yeah, being surprised isn't something one can outgrow. If I may ask, startled by what? Was it something I said? If so, I am terribly sorry."

”I…” she begins. “I was just a… bit shocked when you said you died by the hands of a ghost! That’s not a story you see every day… eighteen something years ago, I played a lead role in an opera about a woman being hunted down by the ghost of her ex lover. I’m a bit of an actor…” (deception: 14)

"Really? How fascinating ." KK replies, not buying her lie at all. "I'd love to hear more about that, but first I'd like to know the real reason why you were shocked. Don't worry, whatever it is, it ain't going to hurt my feelings."

She shivers slightly at that last sentence, as if reminded of something unpleasant. "Now, any idea about the favor?"
"I'll call in you when needed" He hums, brushing himself off, "Tho I've gotten what I needed for now."
"Alright. I guess I'll wait until then. Farewell for now." She walks away, muttering something to herself under her breath as she does.
Georgie looks at the man, who smiles and waves him off, "Go with your friend pumpkin, I'll keep in touch."
Georgie follows Omori
Omori notices Georgie following her. "So, I guess Omori was my name after all." She replies, smiling.
He nods, "I guess my memory was correct" He grins
"Well... I say it's my name, but... It's complicated."
"Complicated how?"
"Well, I... I was named after someone else. That someone else was the one who 'created' me, for lack of better terms, and turned out to be a pretty horrible person.". She explains. "But, it's the only name I've ever had, and I haven't found any I thought fit better yet, so it's the name I've got for now."
