"But should they be dying all at once like this?" He looks up, his eyes big and worried.
The figure stands, dark mists coiling around its reptilian body to form bandages and robes smoldering with purple flames. "I was about to ask you the same question. I myself haven't answered that in decades. No one has asked. Last I remember, my name was... Vermios. Same name as some insignificant little town where I was worshipped like a god. They built it on my body, so it was only fair. I heard the Grebble Meat Packing Company came in and completely ruined it."
Ichigo shrugs "I do not know.. this is my first winter.. like this." He says. He sits in the floor and watches Felix.
"Mn. That's how factories work after all." He said, shrugging.
"You should stay indoors where it's warm. Arthropods can't stand the cold, and usually hibernate or just die."
"I wouldn't know. Not my forte." He starts casually ambling toward Samaritan. "So, who are you? No need to use your real name. I plan on changing mine when I come up with a better one."
*Oh the Jester has returned, sorry I was so inactive yesterday, that’s how I’ll be around the holidays. Does anyone want to rp?*
*Yay! And take as much as you need :)z
*Want to deal with the cowboys? And I’ll be fine, just not doing much.*
*Shore :3*
*Here you go.*
Merabelle is painting in a different place, right outside of the forest, painting the perfect scene. She smiles softly as she paints every single thing.
Sparrow is reading in his rocking chair in front of the Inn, a lit cigarette in his fingers but his breath not smelling of smoke.
Thane is taking care of his kid, always concerned about them, his eyes are finally healing, his eyes returning to a golden color.
Grimes is playing darts at his stump, trying to stack the darts on the dart board, he’s made it up to three but he’s going for four.
Arthur waves to Sparrow and wanders over, tipping his hat "Howdy partner."
TH watches from the shadows "Interesting.. I did not think it could be done."
Merabelle turns to then, putting down her paint brush “Howdy Stroth, how ya doin’ girl?” Smiling at them.
He returns the tipping of the hat, a sign of respect “Howdy pardner. Good ta see ya again.”
Grimes turns, the moment he threw another dart, getting him to miss the darts but still hit the board “Huh?”
She shrugs "Threw up for the first time in.." she counts on her fingers before huffing "Gonna need more fingers."
Arthur grins "How're ya?"
"The progress you have made from the beginning when I first met you."
She nods, raising her eyebrows curiously “Looks like it’s finally gettin’ to ya.” She says, standing up “Guess Sparrow did ya right.” She cackles, patting their shoulder.
“I’m doin’ good, finally takin’ a break from all the crazy, haven’t had one in a long time.”
“Oh, I’ve just had someone to motivate me other than myself.” He picks up another dart, throwing it onto the others.
She nods and stretches "I feel like falling asleep fer ever." She chuckles.
"That's good to hear." He nods and chuckles "Glad to see y'all are relaxing nowadays then getting into trouble and such."
“Ya should get some rest, take care o’ yerself, yer pregnant now, which means no crazy girl’s nights fer a lil bit.” She says, patting their shoulder.
“It’s the best thing I’ve had in a while, no more heists and crime. Not fer a while at least. Hey, I got ta ask, ya seen a guy with a pentagram etched into his skin ‘round here?”
Grimes walks over and hugs them, kissing their mask softly.

"I will.. do that.. then." He nods and laughs, his laugh like sandpaper scraping against wood "I do.. not like seeing you.. sad."
"Mn, Samaritan." He grumbles, folding his arms over his chest "I was wondering what the folks above were harvesting."
“Ya should get some rest, take care o’ yerself, yer pregnant now, which means no crazy girl’s nights fer a lil bit.” She says, patting their shoulder.

Grimes walks over and hugs them, kissing their mask softly.
She huffs and folds her arms "Don't like that thought but I suppose I should become a mother unlike the one who birthed me." She says.
"Hm? No, I don't believe so." He shakes his head, looking worried.
He lifts his mask up and kisses him back "How are you?"

“Don’t worry ‘bout it none then. Just somebody who’s after my head, they… don’t worry.” He sighs.
“I’m doin’ well, work’s been easy enough that I’ve had a lot of time to practice and have fun, as you know~”

*Anybody notice a difference?*

Heya everyone! I'm EJO, DDB's resident immortal Welsh medieval rat who appears randomly roughly once every week.
I'm not active much, but always up to talk when I am.
I'm known as CptKurn nearly everywhere but here.
Do not ask me about anything I like because I WILL waffle on for half an hour.
*sure! I’m in the middle of making my god of sweets, named Vanilla, so I’ll be able to use them later! But for now I just have Mother Misery and archduchess Aurelia. I’m currently trying to decide what type of bard Vanilla should be, I’m thinking glamour.*

*Glamour would make sense, but I don’t often use many bard subclasses. Who do you want to rp with?*
*I read some Gormenghast while the computer was occupied. It's a great trilogy.*
*ooh, what is it about?*
*My brother, Tale Foundry made an entire 20 minute video on it. I've only just started my journey, and I don't think I can do it justice. It's like a sort of slice of life set in a pretty surreal and dark castle named after the titular mountains behind it. The whole thing is incredible and poetic and wonky and I love every miserable character already.*

*perhaps mother misery and Darius? I quite enjoy that combination. I also only know, like, two of your characters so far.*

*By the way, the mods stepped in a while back and said that god-level power isn't allowed. Gods with an unexpectedly low power level are chill, though. I think, anyway.*
