"No, I am not. I am too fragile to be mortal. The Powers that Be decided as much." It nuzzles closer, pressing its side against Tim's. "The depths of their foolishness astounds me to this day."
They fidget with their thumbs softly, their skin surprisingly warm despite having no way to transfer heat within understanding “Too fragile? What are you if you aren’t mortal? Are you like me?”
"I am... different, I think. I was made, like you, but I wasn't made to be strong. I was simply made to live after my people failed to. I gave myself purpose, along with the Magus and the Neighbor, my other two thirds. You'll meet them eventually. They're nicer than me." It looks up at him. "So, what's your name?"

He nods “I’m… Tim… what do you mean… like me? Am I… made too?” He asks, looking down to them, confused, he can’t handle simple revelations like that, or at least not explained like that.

It chuckles. "We are both... original. We don't have real parents. Your plastic shell isn't organic. It's not natural. No creature can grow plastic. Tell me, do you have a last name, Tim?"
Mother Misery is taking care of three more patients with the weeping pox.
Vanilla is bored, looking Half asleep on a sofa next to the fire, sipping some hot cocoa.
Darius continues to help them, although silently, comforting them and removing as many pox as they can.
Tim sits next to them. He appears to be a small child with plastic skin, his eyes swirling with wild magic.
“The weeping pox is really deadly… kills within three or so days, spreads like wildfire, and can stay dormant in your body, still spreading, for up to a month before you show symptoms.” she mutters to Darius.
Vanilla yawns, grumbling something akin to, ‘five more minutes,’ since they’re half asleep, and they hand Tim a hot cocoa.

Once again, shock shows in his face, along side confusion “I…” He looks down to his own hands, his fingers twitching softly “I… but my sister and brother… but my dad is…”

He nods along with them “I will make sure to prevent it from spreading to myself. I don’t need to be the cause of any more deaths.” He mutters back, breaking off swells, leaving revealed but not harmed skin underneath.
They takes the hot cocoa in their hands, chuckling like a child does, sipping it softly as they politely sit next to them, radiating intense magical power.

*You have two other Abyss Aspects to meet before Christmas is over. Do you want the Beast, the Magus, or the Neighbor again? I could even do all three if you'd like.*

“Good… but if you do catch it, I will heal you. And there will be no ifs, ands, or buts about that, i can’t get sick, so it’ll just be me feeling the pain instead of spreading it.”
Vanilla, curious, turns their head to Tim, trying to see what sort of magical power they’re radiating. If Tim can sense magic too, Vanilla is very, very clearly giving off an impossible amount of divine energy.

"A liar. He's using you. You and your siblings. You need to get them out of there. Away from him. He didn't even share his last name with you, did he? Heartless bastard." The beast doesn't seem even slightly impassioned by the terrible things it says, even though it speaks with great understanding.

*Okay, I might rewrite Brody's backstory. I still want to keep the idea that he was a superstar then lost it all then rebuilt himself.*

*The song I keep thinking Brody best aligns with is We Are by Hollywood Undead with very specific lyrics in the song that really fit him.
"With a gleam in his eye, his middle finger to the sky
Crooked smile on his face, he doesn't think he can die"
And
"If you can lose it all, then welcome to Broadway
Silicone dreams and your name on the Marque
And I can hold it up, but I hold it up hardly"*

*Sorry if my responses are slower, playing a video game with my little brother. Might just get off entirely for a little bit.*
