She chuckles, smiling “That’s too flattering for me.” She says, finishing her drink, petting Nine.
“It probably was.” He sticks his blade into the ground “What should I do now that I’m part of your cult?”
“Absolutely disgusting, why would anything ever want to do something like that?” Their true nature shining through in blinks.

He just shakes his head “You’ve lost perspective. You’re complaining about something that’s entirely your fault, tell me, who chose to help all those people? Because I can genuine no one else forced you to.” He says, simply stating facts.
“i’m literally a god of hospitality. All of my big powers revolve around helping people… and I was trying to do what I’ve always done, I helped people before I was a god, because it felt right and It was something I’m good at, and it was exciting for me. But you have to understand… I don’t feel anything anymore, there’s no… anything to it. It’s all just… I help people, boom, problem fixed! There’s nothing I want to do that I can’t just make happen, so there’s… nothing special about anything I do anymore…”
“Idiot.” He says, standing up, “You’re a fool who plays the facade of a god, you aren’t helping people because you want to, but because that’s what you’ve been doing. You’ve lost the reason behind help people, its not able solving problems, it’s being doing something for someone because it’s the right thing to do, because you care about people, not able just solving every issue.”
He doesn’t say anything, just glaring at him. Thunder rumbles again, closer and louder. “N-none of this is fair... I-…” the kid mumbled.
He walks over to them, looking into their eyes “Life isn’t fair, for mortals or gods.” He doesn’t have an ounce of hatred in his eyes, just pity “How about you act your age.”
“Why? What’s the point? There just... isn’t any reason for me to do anything. It’s all just pointless… and how old do you think I am?”
“You said decades, you’re old enough to act like an adult. You do things because you want to, you help because you want to, you hurt people because you want to. Do things that matter, things are only pointless because of why you do them.”
“I said one decade… I ascended when I was a mortal teenager… but… gah, Nevermind. You aren’t listening to me. The reason I’m irritated is because nothing I do matters to me! Nothing I can do matters to me. Nothing, nothing, nothing! Nothing that I could do is important to me because I can do it so easily…” he buries his face in his hands.
“Again, that’s your fault. Nothing matters because there’s no passion behind what you do. There’s no one you care about enough to have meaning. You’re a disappointment to me, I’m sad that you think nothing you do matters, the people you help are probably deeply thankful, you think it doesn’t matter. I’m just sad for you.”
Deep within the wood of the tavern, the smell of blood permeates at air. The sound of people can be heard from the darkness, the sound of people crying for help, for someone, anyone, to save them. Animal carcasses lay about the forest, dismembered and torn to shreds with no regard for the meat, bones or anything really. Just a gruesome display of violence.
Loriche strolls into the clearing and begins pulling out bones from the corpses, planning to use them for a project.
"Hello?" Comes from the forest in what sounds like Home's voice.
“Home? That’s you, right?”
