He gives a cruel chuckle “That leave me to ask you, how do you think Tim is so powerful? Though it is not the same, his power source is certainly similar.”
"Could such power...?" It trails off, still looking down at the ground.
He gives another chuckle “From what I understand you became decently fond of the child, maybe you knew all along and were simply using him.” He shrugs “It won’t matter soon.”
"To start, yes... but you're right. It won't matter soon." It weakly laughs.
He smiles at the weak laugh “It seems you might still be fond of him, I’ll let you say goodbye if you want to.”
He places the bread on her hand, which is immediately blackened as he whispers words in Celestial. They look like they hurt, but she feels refreshed completely. The weight of ages, as described, is taken off her shoulders. She feels beautiful, as though all those evil thoughts had been making her somehow uglier. And as he eats it, she can feel his aura darken even deeper and blacker than before. He seems to relish his meal, enjoying the flavors greatly. "Such travesty... mmmm, such horror..."
She seems quite satisfied in terms of curiosity by the display, putting her hands back together, smiling softly as she puts her wine down “I would not have expected to meet someone capable of such things, and yet, I find myself surprised. Not often, but in this case, I was.” She giggles, moving from her seat “How terrible, now you carry a weight that is not your own.”
He nods. "Terrible, but honorable. If you died today, the heavens would let you in, let you become pure and radiant. You would be allowed to rule in the lands of the gods."
She chuckles at that “Maybe, but tomorrow the gates will be closed to me once more. You shouldn’t take sin from sinners, take it from those who want to repent.” She says, offering them a glass of blood wine “Who might you be?”

He kneels and gently lays a funeral cake on the corpse, whispering words in celestial. The cake darkens ever so slightly, and he eats it. He rises, holding the cake in his hand. He does not seem to enjoy it. "I'm sorry for your loss. He was a good man."
"What... was that?" She asks with a somber curiosity, gesturing to the funeral cake.
"I took away his sins, meagre as they were. Took them into myself. Any burden he would have carried is now mine. He is free from any spiritual or moral burden he would have had." He takes another bite. "Only the foulest can satiate me anymore. He tastes like a kind, innocent person. Not pure, but no one is."

“I would describe the pure as the deserving, but it seems to satisfy your appetite, even if only for a time.” The wine is obviously cursed, though it has no discernible effect on them, the Duchess putting the glass away, moving her veil from covering her face, “What a wonderful name.”

He looks up to them, but doesn’t move from behind the barrel “You… don’t want to?” He seems perplexed, he cares about Helianth, but it seems it was one sided.

His blindfold does not allow him to see her. "What people deserve is not in question. Judgement is not my business. I crave the sins, the crimes of others. The very weight of my burden will cave in the Abyss, and I will feast and feast until it is time to move on to the rest of the Lower Planes."
Helianth slowly lifts one of its flower heads, coldly 'looking' at him with a nonexistent glare. "Why would I? You've already fulfilled your part of our deal- you improved the design. I have no use for you." A cruel laugh escapes it for a second.

“Quite interesting, it leaves me only with more questions, though I don’t believe I need the answers. I hope that your hunger is sated, even for a time upon consuming some truly foul sins. I doubt mine were enough to achieve such a feat.”

Tim, for a moment, doesn’t know how to process what was said, before curling up on the ground and beginning to openly weep. Small bits of his skin begin to crack, and a small, but powerful light begins to radiate off of him, surprisingly satisfying to Helianth if he absorbs any of it.

It does in fact absorb the light, not a visible ounce of guilt in its entire being, though it does stop after a few seconds. "...Well... perhaps I was wrong..." It turns towards Tim fully. "There is still one way you can help my mission."
