As dawn breaks, an oddly shaped caravan crests over the hill with the sun, drawn by half a dozen undead horses. The first level resembles the more common cubic shape, with many windows of varying shapes peering in. On its flat roof rests a garden on the front half and a tower with a pointed roof on the back. A flight of stairs wraps around this tower, stopping at a circular window at the top.
From what you can see, there appears to be two living creatures on board. The first a humanoid pangolin, slightly hunched as it holds and guides the reins of the horses. The second, a grey tabaxi, stands on the aforementioned stairs, fidgeting with some metal object as they look towards the Lords Rest. She wears casual clothing with a shifting metallic and chromatic design.
She stuffs the object into her hair, which makes up about half her size (kind of like Raditz from Dragonball, but less spiky), as the caravan comes to a stop in front of the Lords Rest.
*also happy new years*
*anybody care to interact with a potential future member of the Kingdom Council?*
*sure* a tabaxi resembling a slow leopard is just outside the tavern, carving a small wooden bowl by hand. Her heavy winter cloak is adorned with sun designs, contrasting the chilling aura that surrounds her. Its hood shrouds her face in shadows
The pangolin humanoid hops down and waddles over, carrying a sending stone in their clawed hand. As they get closer, the Tabaxi can recognize them as some kind of fey, looking similar to a Bobakik but of a larger size.
“No, I’m just a traveler” a small gust of cold wind circles the pangolin and returns to sha’dia. “As are you, I assume.”
They shiver, causing their scales to clatter. They shake their head no as they hand them the sending stone.
She takes it, turning it over in her hands. “I believe you’ve got the wrong cat. My mother is named Nuria, and she has no sons or titles.”
Before the pangolin can respond, the sending stone beeps and a voice yells through it, feminine with an aged tone. “HELLO? POONDA? DOES THAT PERSON WORK HERE? TELL THEM SYLVAN SHOULD HAVE A ROOM SET UP FOR US! HELLO? Goodness, I despise this arcanum. Half the time only mine works, the other half they don’t work at all.”
“Sorry ,I’ll hand the stone over to you” she addresses the pangolin, holding the stone out to them
POONDA holds their arms up and shakes their head. They then go on all fours and enter the caravan through the back. “Wait. I can hear you? Oh this is great. I am Lady Agatha, undead candidate for the Kingdom Council, graduate of the Ichi academy, blah blah blah. Introductions aside, could you hand this stone to someone who works here? Preferably my son. He probably is in the kitchen, or maybe the woods? He says he’s been helping in the local church as well. Maybe just give it to any member of staff.”

"The only one who gets off on violence here is you."
*got any other characters you want to use since the Saphuno one's finished?*
"No problem." Rio smiles kindly.
Those words seem to break him, and he sighs. His eyes, what used to be red with black symbols set in them, clear up, to normal, piercing blue ones. "I don't know why anymore... I didn't used to be like this. It's that goddamn book!" he yells out, throwing it away and tearing up. But, it returns shortly after, sat at his feet.
*sure.* Toothless is working in the tavern, though, it's hard for him as he's learning to speak Common.
"Bloody 'ell... that was good..." he says, leaning back after eating. He hasn't finished the sandwhich, though. "Thank you, so much..."
Mauric just stands there, blank, his anger neutralized but not gone.
Thirteen is at the bar, writing.
“No problem. Anything else I can do for you?”
"I'm not a bad person... I'm a god. The Autumn God... I accidentally picked up this book one day, and it's just been... making me want to kill people with it..." He says simply.
"Can I get... you something... drink?" He asks slowly, pausing here and there.
"Not right now... thank you." he says, hugging Rio again.
"Then... find a way to get rid of it...?"
"No thank you. I'm alright." Thirteen smiles kindly.
Rio grins and hugs him back.
