A pale man is sitting down in front of the tavern, playing a song about friendship on his guitar. He has bulky, colorful clothes with equally expressive pins all over them to demonstrate his views and beliefs immediately. Smiley faces, pride flags, peace signs, "Save the Whales." The man is evidently a hippie, even if he's clean shaven and smells like a sweets shop. His blue eyes sparkle as he sings, his shoulder-length red hair blowing in the wind. People, mostly children and parents, gather around him, eating the candy he's handed out.
Victor watches them, smoking something heavy, his eyes revealing how high is really is as he looks at the hippie. He takes the pipe from his mouth, walking over to watch the hippie closer. Of course, most people would notice that Victor is impaled by several spears, dripping blood, but Victor doesn’t seem to care.
The musician calmly tells everyone that he needs a short break, and approaches Victor directly, taking him aside. "Howdy! Are you alright? Those spears aren't safe to carry around in your body."
He raises an eyebrow curiously before looking down at himself, his eyes widening “Yo… that’s crazy… when did that happen?” He says, pointing the tips of one of the spears with a finger “I think I’m fine… I’m immortal right?”
a tabaxi resembling a slow leopard is just outside the tavern, carving a small wooden bowl by hand. Her heavy winter cloak is adorned with sun designs, contrasting the chilling aura that surrounds her. Its hood shrouds her face in shadows

He lets it eat, putting a gentle hand on the horrible thing. "You don't need to be sorry. You should eat when you're hungry. That way you can grow big and healthy." He speaks with a deliberate, slow cadence, as though he were talking to a child. "All this food is for you."
"Thank you thank you thank you thank you." It repeats, the angel devouring it all "So hungry.. I'm so hungry.. I am so sorry.." It says, its messy maw lifting from the baskets.
He gently pets the angel. "I forgive you. I know where to get you some more food. Would you like to come with me?" He bends down to make eye contact. There is no fear or anger in his eyes, just a calm gentleness.
It nods its 'head' made of hands and follows slowly, like a scared animal. "Where am I?" it asked, its voice raspy.

"Most people aren't immortal. If you hugged someone, they might get hurt. That's not very good." His voice is calm, almost hypnotic. "Let's get you somewhere they can remove those, okay?" He leans forward and whispers. "There are kids here, and I don't want to pull the spears out in front of them."

"You are at Lord's Point, a town on the Material Plane." He takes it over to a large caravan painted very whimsically with bright colors, decorated with too many stickers to count. He opens the door and walks in, then brings out armfuls of food. He takes multiple trips, and most of the food is healthy at first, but eventually he just brings out candy. "This is all I have right now, but if you're still hungry I can find more." He's holding a small, curved knife behind his back, covered in sugary syrup.

The crowd gasps. The musician grabs Victor's wrist firmly. His voice has a faint sternness to it all of the sudden. "Hey. Don't do that, alright?" His tone then softens once more. "You made a mistake. It's okay. But hurting yourself is bad." The word 'bad' seems to be uncomfortable for him, as though he didn't want to use such harsh language. "Life is all about learning. You shouldn't be punished for learning things."
