Felix takes a big sippy and coughs. "Thanks. I actually kind of almost killed Riotan once. But we're chill now. I'm glad he's making friends now. He seemed pretty lonely."
He sits down next to Tim. "The stars are beautiful, aren't they?" He offers the plush owlbear. "Each one is different. Too many to count."
“Lonely? I wouldn’t say that, and I wouldn’t exactly call myself his friend either, I’m not sure what I am to him, he’s fun to be around, but I don’t really… have friends anymore.” He refills his drink.
He takes the plush, clasping it tightly in his arms, “They really are… I have a frien-“ He shakes his head “S-sorry, not a friend… someone I worked with that wanted to eat a star.”
"Why not?" Felix puts some sort of spice in his own drink. "I mean, I understand why you wouldn't want to be Rio's friend, he's kind of pure evil."
"Was this someone who said they were a friend but not really a friend?" He nods slowly after that uncharacteristically long sentence.
“Oh I’m fine with him being evil. I just… have lost a lot of people and all that, but no one needs my sob story.” He says, looking down to the ground and all around himself.
He nods slowly, shivering slightly “They did… but that’s my fault for believing them right?” He says, tearing up slightly.
She moves away from Tim a little bit. "Okay... why? I... do I scare you?"
He shakes his head vigorously, putting his hands up “N-no, I just… don’t want to hurt you…” He looks down to his knees.
"Okay. I'll just stay over here." She responds, still watching from the shadows with curiosity- Tim can't even make out any sort of silhouette. She almost seems to be part of the surrounding night.
“T-thank you… I just… I think I’m supposed to hurt people and I don’t want to.” He looks at the sky, the starts above glistening with brightness beyond his understanding “Omori is a pretty name.”
She is silent for a second. "Me too, I think- or at least, I was meant to." She responds, not having the cheery tone she spoke in before. "Thank you. Tim is a nice name too."
He sighs, looking to the stars, his eyes changing back to normal “You were too? At least I’m not alone I guess… I just… I’m… I’m just so afraid of everything… I don’t know what to do.”
"It's a nightmare of the worst sort. I'm not sure how you'll use it, but I got it from some giants as a tip. This one is named..." He reads the label. "'Look upon what you have done. There is no forgiveness.'"
"He came from the stars. The sky quaked and turned red. He was lowered in the cradle of the gods. He's only a child. He doesn't know his power. But children need to be loved. They need to be cared for."
She looks back at the bottle with a somewhat-insane expression of glee. "Thank you, it looks wonderful! I'm already thinking of ways to use it!" She gratefully accepts the imprisoned nightmare, holding its container a little closer to her face and looking within.
"That, I can understand. All beings deserve love and kindness." It replies, looking up at the stars and chuckling a bit to itself. "Funny how so many recent happenings seem to relate to stars."
Felix gives a bow. "I'm glad I could help. Could I come in? We haven't talked in a while, what with current events and all."
He looks down and stops strumming, playing a single dissonant note. "You really hurt them. Can we talk about that? I don't think you want to be the bad guy. Not in this story, at least."

Rag is finally back, and is serving up some meals for people, his rage completely extinguished.
The Duchess is having a sip of wine at the bar, a chunk of her own arm seems to be missing, blood and wine stain her lipstick as she visibly heals, her legs crossed.
Lilac, bearing fresh scars, approaches her uncle, beaming.
"You look rough." Says a younger adult female with a mop of loose curls, covering her face. She wears loose, baggy clothing.
His smile immediately drops as he puts his things down, standing to his full height “Who do I need to kill.” He says it as an order more than a question.
She looks down to them, a towering woman who smells of blood, though not quite a vampire “I do? Well we can’t have that.” Her voice sultry.
"Some random pelt hunters. It was dark, I don't know what they look like. I'm fine, Clem saw to that."
"No, we can't How about a drink?"
“Lilac, if you get hurt again immediately tell me.” He sits back down, picking up a rock and launching it into outer space.
She raises an eyebrow “Forward aren’t we? I would offer you some of mine, but you likely wouldn’t like it.”
"I don't need to be babied, Unc..." she sighs, sitting next to him.
"I meant from the menu, but hit me." she sets down an empty glass
He looks down to her “If that were true you wouldn’t have scars. I’m just being your uncle.”
She pours the blood wine into the glass “I hope you find it enjoyable to take advantage of the curse.”
"Why not?" Felix puts some sort of spice in his own drink. "I mean, I understand why you wouldn't want to be Rio's friend, he's kind of pure evil."

Felix tilts his head, then puts a paw on John's face to force the man to look at him. "I'd be up for it."
"No. No, baby. You're young. You make mistakes. You learn. You grow. They took advantage of you. They were being malicious. Do you know what that means? It means bad on purpose." He offers Tim the sweater, knitted out of soft, magic-resistant cables. "You did nothing wrong."
She moves away from Tim a little bit. "Okay... why? I... do I scare you?"

"Good to meet you too, Cyvus." He takes a sip from the glass. "I don't recognize this vintage, but it's pretty good. Anyway, do you remember what you were doing before you were posessed?"
"Plotting the death of my corrupt king." he says, simply, taking a bite from his plate. "This vintage is a gift I got for my 2nd birthday. Obviously I wasn't old enough to drink it. So Ive waited 98 years to drink it... It's good, isn't it?"
"100 years, huh? It really is good. My culture has a long history of corrupt leaders. One of them turned my people to cannibalism so they could eat our food. I'm sorry to hear that you've suffered like that."

“That’s why I’m trying to be here for you, I heard about Clem, though I don’t know him very well, is he as good as he appears in your eyes?”
