“That I cannot do, the blade does not leave my side, by choice or otherwise.” He sheaths the blade once more, sitting back down “Don’t ask again.”
He smiles at her, finishing up his workout and toweling off “Do ya want ta get a house?”
He looks happy “I would love to play a game, what do you want to play?” He asks, leaning back.
They lift the shield from their face, their skin the color of burnt sand in the Red Desert. Shadows conceal his features but his eyes glint "Don't worry. If it will not leave your side, hold it while I examine it."
She nearly spits out her tea and turns around "A house?"
"Card... game?' They ask.
He raises an eyebrow, though keeps his mask over his face, taking the sheath off of his belt, holding it in his hand. His eyes peer into their soul, looking for their truest intentions.
He smiles slightly at the reaction “I mean, if ya don’t want ta, I’ll continue sleepin’ out here. I just… thought we should have a place, a real place together.”
He smiles wider “I love card games!” He seems very excited.
He actually can't decipher anything from them. It's like there is a mental block, leaving them with a dead look.
"No no no no! I want that as well! I thought it would be silly to bring up though!"
"What do.... you want to... play?"
That leaves him even more curious “Fine, you may look, touch and you die.” His says coldly, taking the blade from the sheath, holding both in his hands for them to see.
He walks over and sits next to them “Then ya do want ta get a house with me? Maybe we should go lookin’, or maybe I can ask a friend fer help.”
He pulls a deck of cards from his back pocket, explaining a game that him and his brother used to play, which for the sake of my sanity, Tim and Tony just invented fantasy Yu Gi Oh.
They nod, examining the blade. Their eyes seem to shift colors almost, changing from red to blue and from blue to grey.
She nods enthusiastically, hugging him.
Ichigo listens carefully, taking in the information
He continues to watch them curiously, the runes on its fragment of the blade perfectly detailed despite the blade appearing broken.
He hugs her back, rubbing her back “Love ya Stroth, I’m happy I get ta settle down with ya.” He is beaming.
It’s exactly the Yu Gi Oh system, giving them a set of very good cards, and teaching them in the first few games, he’s scary good at this game.
He mumbles to himself before pulling out a small leather bound book. He makes notes in it queitly.
"As am I. I am going to be honest... I never thought my life would go as it now does."
Ichigo, because he has never played this game, loses often but keeps trying.
*Until you watch something good like Cloverfield or Blair Witch, I cannot forgive you.*
Thirteen is meditating presumably in his room, since he’s not anywhere around.
Mauric is back at the inn, making some hors d’oeuvres.
Loriche is out hunting.
Riotan is planting castor plants at the tree line, seemingly at peace.
Eito is gathering reeds at the river.
*I've watched Blair Witch and played the video game!*
Thirteen can feel a primordial disturbance around the tavern. It moves like a human, talks like one to but it isn't, just something wearing a flesh shell.
Loriche can hear humming through the woods before a voice makes itself know "Hello again."
Samaritan walks over to him, smiling. He takes off his mask and sets it aside.

After a while he sheathes the blade back, returning it to his belt, “I hope that was enough time for you. You get no more.”
“Neither did I, but I couldn’t be happier that it went this way.” He kisses her cheek softly “You are the perfect woman fer me.”
For every loss Tim adjusts his strategy as well as provides advice for Ichigo’s, helping them learn.

*good*
Thirteen awakens and enters the tavern proper, looking around curiously.
Loriche whirls around, taking out every tool and weapon she has as fast as possible.
Rio smiles up at him in kind. "Hiii~"

I'll lay a white rose on the cold earth, knowing it that it has not claimed your soul.
“If yer hidin’ ya ain’t doin’ too well, now are ya?”
“Just lay down in the sun or something, maybe go inside, sit in a fire, I don’t know, I’m not a snake expert.”
"...no ma'am." Loriche has no idea how to make this less awkward.
"I'm already in the sunnnnnn but it's not making me warrrrrrrrm." He groans, rolling over melodramatically.
“How ‘bout ya get out o’ that bush.” She holds out a hand, ignoring the awkwardness entirely, smiling wide.
”Maybe sit in some fire, you’re a demon so you should have some resistance at least. Here.” He puts his flaming sword on their legs.
Loriche takes your hand and gets to her feet, looking around. “Dangit, my mark ran off…”
Rio winces a bit but it’s clear his facial muscles are more sensitive than before.
She sniff the air “Well what’re ya lookin’ fer? I can find ya anythin’ in these woods, I’m a Druid after all.” She pats their shoulder.
The radiance in the blade removes itself, leaving only the warmth “Any better?”
“I was just trying to bag a deer. I don’t need to eat, but my friend who’s staying with me does. I gotta spend a lot of time scrounging up food and firewood to keep him going.”
“A little.” He sits up. “Thanks.”

“It’s the least I could do for you.”
“A bear? Aren’t they all hibernating?” Loriche looks a bit guilty. “As someone who sleeps for decades at a time, I don’t wanna disturb ‘em.”
“Pfft. I’ve barely done anything for you. I could make you magic items. I could make you an oathbreaker. I could even make you a warlock. But there’d be a price for those gifts.”
