"Excellent." he leads Flynn over to the meat buffet, where lattices of flesh lie in wait. "They only need a couple seconds on each side to be food-safe. Some are marinated, some aren't, there should be a label. Go ham, brother." He reaches up and pats Flynn on the lower back, as high as he can reach.
He looks across the table, before picking up some sticks from the ground, turning them into a plate as he begins to grab some food when it’s ready, smiling brightly at the chance to have an actual meal that isn’t military approved first.
*Good place to end? I can't think of what to do next.*

*Yeah that’s totally a good place to end. Don’t worry about anything man.*
His eyes begin to water with tears as he nods the slightest bit that he can, “O-okay… I love you too… I just… I wasn’t sure… I wasn’t sure I was ready, but, you don’t make me care anymore.”
“I don’t, and I want to know without having to ask you.” She boops them on the nose.
“On an adventure to find myself and become what my family needs me ta be. Yours sounds more impressive if I’m honest.” He chuckles.

"What do you mean, I 'don't make you care anymore'?.."
He grumbles, laying down. "oookay, sure."
"If you consider being the last of your people, and still following a god that made the mistake that destroyed them impressive, sure.."
“I… I wasn’t sure I was the one for you, but you care so much about me, and I care so much about you, I don’t care about ‘right for whoever’.” He explains, trying to slink out of the bathroom.
“What did you think it was for?” She asks, sitting back down at her desk and beginning to analyze what she can from it.
“It sounds decently impressive, though it also sounds pretty sad, sorry to hear about all of that.” He looks down at the bundle of flowers in his hands, “Want to help me pick flowers?”

"I see.." she lets him, though she follows him
"Iunno.." Genetically speaking, there would be no reason for the way he is.
"I do not have anything better to do, so I suppose."
*Gtg soon, sorry.*
He doesn’t notice as he goes outside, walking into the forest to sit on a tree stump and polish his hammer.
“Hmm, no genetic issues, have you taken some kind of brain trauma? Chemical imbalance, possibly?”
He hands them the flowers he’s already picked, continuing with a smile.

She sits by the stump, humming
"Bingo. All I know is some crazy [GP] went down when I was 11, so now I have issues forming memories."
Aokiji helps Milo pick flowers, actually enjoying it
*do not be sorry, time is a fickle mistress*
He leans against her once he notices them there, “I’m sorry for doubting… I really am.”
“Well, that makes sense, and ever since things haven’t been able to properly settle. Would you like me to do surgery?”
He puts them into bundles, humming as he goes along, flowers regrowing using his magic.

He smiles a crack, kissing her back, though a bit sheepishly, “Sorry… I was just thinking about something.”
“We really need to fix that memory of yours.” She says, putting her gloved hands on the sides of their face.
(Nope, that’s Flynn, Milo’s just not a talkative guy.) He smiles brightly, lightning crackling in his hair as he quietly picks flowers.
He chuckles, his smile coming back in full, “Dear, I was thinking about you.” He says, turning around to face them.
“Oh come now, I’m just doing work.” She opens their mouth, poking around inside.
(You haven’t, tall Australian storm giant) “Hello.” He says with a polite wave, putting down his axe.
“Just about… how we’re getting married, and all of that.” He hugs them back, though not with the same strength.
She runs a swab through their mouth, before closing it “Done.”
“Well enough, nice ta meet you, I’m Milo.” He holds out a hand to them, carrying himself as if he were small.
He rubs the back of his neck, nodding along with their words, “Really?… Domino, do you think I’m the right one?”
“Doc? Hmm, I like it. I’m going to put some research into this, and see why you can’t keep a memory.”
His own grip is strong enough for someone his size, “What brings you ta town, mate?”
