Samaritan is in his kitchen, the place is absolutely bustling. The warmer weather and spring coming around has meant more folks from out of town, in town, and in between. He works diligently, his staff working beside him. He grumbles and picks up a beautiful plate of steak tartar and hands it to one of the runners "Table 3 mate."
Aix is inside the tavern, lounging on a sofa in the main room while he sips a cocktail and reads a book on the history of fashion. He is dressed in a black T-shirt, a pair of black skinny jeans, and thick black platform boots. His extremely long black hair is tied back in a bun.
Angel is outside, gathering herbs. He is dressed in a simple black tank top and a pair of loose black pants, something comfortable for outside wear. He has already gathered up dill weed, sage brush, chives, wild onion, and wild chicory.

Most of the cuts on her palms and hands are self made in the attempt to draw more powerful magic circles, easy to bandage up, but she’s pale from lack of blood, more than usual anyway. “My… son… Oliver…” She whispers weakly.
"Okay, okay.. Who took him or what?" He said softly, trying to calm her down as he cleans her up.

She pulls out a book, she turns to the page that has the most on it, which isn’t much, some kind of god of destruction who bends powerful vessels to their will.
*Oh also, forgot to ask, but can I have James, please?*

*Yep.*
Samaritan grumbles and narrows his eyes "I'll find him.." he snarls.
James is in his office at the Detective Agency, reading over a case file.

*Thank you,*
She tries to weakly push herself up, looking up at them once more, “T-thank ya… I just… want ‘em ta be safe…” She sits down.
Someone knocks on the door to their office. James feels something unnatural in the back of his mind, the presence of the Black Crown, afraid of what’s behind that door.

Samaritan narrows his eyes, "You are going to stay at my home until this.." he gestures to the wounds "close up. I don't trust you not to try anything again and I want to keep an eye on you to make sure those close up and don't get infected."
James becomes silent, his body becoming rigid. He stands up, taking a deep breath, and walking over to the door and plastering on a smile "You're back" he says.

She looks back up at them and sighs, too weak to do anything to them at the moment to prove that she’s fine, giving up when she can’t think of anything, “Fine… but yer not gonna go save my lil Oliver without me… it won’t be good if ya try.”
The Old man has returned, “Of course, and you don’t have to falsify that look of joy, I bring no hostility with me, I simply want to ask you something.” He walks inside once invited in, smiling softly at them.
*I'm here, but I have family DND soon if my older brother gets up in time, since we're unfortunately working on his schedule now.*
*That sounds real annoying, and I hope things don’t end up being extra difficult for you. See you when you have the time, man.*
*I can talk, but starting an RP right now might be a bad move.*
*I had an inkling of an idea for a power system based on the Dreamcrafting and Libation systems I had, mixed with a little bit of my Spectre power system.*

*Dreamcrafting? Sounds like an interesting concept to be implemented. I would love to hear more, if you are willing to indulge a simple funny man such as myself.*
*Ive also been considering bringing back my cook that makes food out of concepts, but instead of making him some kind of divine being, I was thinking of making him closer to Tonio from Jojos.*

*So basically, Spirits. They exist, and they are manifestations of the general collective subconscious of the area. Folklore monsters. Everything from aliens to ghosts to faeries can be real, and they are all difficult to kill because of their nature as psychic manifestations. So we have Slayers to face off against them, using multiple different tactics, the only one I've really worked on being Familiars, which are subservient spirits that can be summoned and tailored to fit the needs of their master. Still, each master only has one Familiar that has a limited set of powers to share. Like a JoJo stand mixed with a Digimon. I have a lot of dumb ideas, but this one is the most developed right now.*

*That sounds really cool, and I love you for the Digimon reference. If you make something out of it I can interact with, I certainly will.*
