He sighs, looking down “And why can’t I come along? I’m capable and strong, you know that.”
Their mouth once again wraps around his arm, taking the flesh before pulling back. Xavier feels a claw making its way down his spine as Ambrosia sits next to him.
He blinks wearily, crawling into their lap.
"Family matters. You're uh.. not related, technically.."
"Oh, it's my lovely loves" he says with a smile, leaning into them
They rest a hand on their head, “Still tired?”
He nods, slightly hurt by the comment but understanding “Okay…”
The eye color changes as they both smile back at him, “We knew you would grow to love them.”
"Usually am in the mornings."
"I'm sorry.. I actually don't exactly know why you cant come, but not even my parents know were we're going.."
"I was jealous before.. and I apologize for that."
“Well, you didn’t keep that promise last night, so I’ll wait for when you’re more awake~”
He sighs once more, looking worried for them, putting his hands on their lap, “Just… promise me you’ll be okay?”
“Dear, I love them, but the way I love you is different. I’m happy you were jealous, that shows you really care.”
"That promise was made dependant on you staying awake. I was up waaaay after you went to bed." he snickers, kissing them
"I promise, sweetie." she clings to him
"Does it? Never thought about it that way." he chuckles, patting their thigh. "I didnt know what to think about them at first.. I suppose it was similar to my reaction to you, Ambrosia.. I only knew Duchess and it was.. frightening in a way."
He sighs and kisses them back, “Well, either way, if you’re interested, I’ll be here.” He says with a chuckle, “Hungry for any breakfast?”
He clings to her like the soy boy he is, “I love you…”
“Oh if it weren’t for our shared body, I would have torn Duchess apart for you, but we reached a compromise. Haven’t you noticed that all of our interactions are split between the two of us?” She asks curiously, taking their hand in both of hers, rubbing it softly.
"Always down for breakfast." he says, rubbing their face
"I love you too, my sweet boy." she smiles, his back
"Honestly? I don't keep track of how many times who's fronted in a day, just simply enjoying the time I spend with either of you." He doesn't feel it, as it's his metal hand, his paw still stuck in Crocodillion's maw
He lets them for a moment longer before getting up and going to the kitchen.
He closes his eyes, leaning forward to rest his head on her lap.
The crocodilian frees their arm soon later, swimming away with a gesture from Ambrosia “Either way, we both equally love you to the point of being willing to kill for you, now how are you doing today dear? We’ve been, thinking about you.”
He lets them for a moment longer before getting up and going to the kitchen.
He closes his eyes, leaning forward to rest his head on her lap.
The crocodilian frees their arm soon later, swimming away with a gesture from Ambrosia “Either way, we both equally love you to the point of being willing to kill for you, now how are you doing today dear? We’ve been, thinking about you.”
