He takes a deep, shaky breath and nods. "I'll... I'll take care of it." He stashes it in his apron. "So, uh, I'm... trying to learn a new vocation. I'm thinking theology. Cleric work." He's trying to change the subject. "I don't know what domain I want to specialize in, though. Probably the Hearth domain, but there are so many little variations that it's difficult to choose even within that domain."
He lets them, smiling returning as he thinks, "Sounds like a complex process, but you've been able to figure things out before. I'm not someone who knows these sort of things, but I may be able to help, if you'll allow me to try." He says, putting down a plate of stew for them, "Oh, and there's another thing I need to ask of you, this one much less grim. Could you help me improve my cooking?"
His ears perk up. "Of course. Well, assuming I have anything to teach you at this point. I'm still learning myself. That's part of why I was traveling for so long."
"I haven't been able to learn much more than I've already known for quite some time, you likely have much to teach me." He says, chuckling before beginning to clean up.

"I don't know, though what I'm able to make is limited, I know what to do with meats, you know that much, but anything else is more... difficult." He picks them up, putting them on the counters to help clean those up.

*Now the book of laws is closed and its pages shine a light As the people fill the shrines in line with my divine right This battlement of sacraments, as chattel to our rite The sacrilegious and recalcitrant shall vow or face the smite*

"How about we start with veggies? They're good for stew and soup." He gets on his hands and knees, wiping the counters.

He hugs back. "I'm happy for you, Domino. I hope everything goes well."

*A lot of things you say worry me. Please don't keep this stuff in if it's painful.*

*Dont worry about me man, I’ll be as fine as I always am. No need to worry about me.*
*Love you too man, but I’m okay, you don’t have to worry about me.*
“Of course, when you mess with gods, they punish you, and their punishment was making me a tiefling.” He shrugs.
“Thank you Dew, really.”
She slips her fangs into them, beginning to drain a bit, enjoying each little bit.
*Well I still do. And that's not gonna stop.*
