“I’m gonna steal some because I don’t have much other food, okay?” She says, going back to picking them, only picking the worse off ones.
“Yer my daughter whether I deserve ya ‘er not.” She gets up, “Now come inside an’ let’s get somethin’ ta eat.”
“Don’t worry and believe something like you’re scaring me away, I just wanna make sure he’s okay, I haven’t seen him recently.”
he notices they take the bad ones, and he lets them. "Alright, just this once."
"Fine, i'm hungry anyway." she follows them inside
"OH.. alright." he smiles and gets up to see them off. "Have a good time."
“Thank ya.” She looks over to them, giving a chipped toothed smile “I’m Moonshine, who’re ya, good lookin’?”
She leads them to the dining room, gathering all the orphans as she begins to make them dinner.
(Good place to end and your turn to pick?)
"River Morgan, 'Butcher'. Nice to meet you."
"Mama, let me help." she says decidedly, helping them cook
(Marionette.)
Marionette has recovered from something, no one would know, but she’s in bed, looking up at the ceiling.
“Nice ta meet ya too, an’ thanks fer these, yer a real nice one fer a butcher.”
She doesn’t let them help much, definitely intentionally “Ya don’t need ta help me, sweetheart, let me do it fer ya, gotta make up fer lost time.”
"Baaabe?" Lotty calls out as she knocks on the door
"I'm not a people person, but then again you're not the kind of people I deal with." he sniffs the air for any sign of Nightmares around them
"I wont ta help, lemme do sumthin'!"
Marionette rolls out of bed, getting decently dressed before coming to the door, cracking it open. She looks a little sick, but more a cold than anything else.
One seems to follow and stand right next to Moonshine, as if it’s her companion, “Understand that, I ain’t deal with people much either, it’s only fair.”
“Sweetheart, if ya want ta do somethin’, enjoy yerself, an’ let yer mother make ya at least one meal.”

She hugs them, tail wagging. "Hi, hi, hi!"
He grumbles and points at it. "Can you see that?"
"Fine." she huffs and goes to sit somewhere at the table with the littles.
She makes a faint noise, hugging them back, a little tired, “Hey, Lotty.”
The small creature, closely resembling a desert furret, coils around Moonshine’s leg, “Doesn’t look like my lil buddy wants ya to.”
The littles swarm her, asking tons of questions, considering she’s the oldest and actually related to Merabelle directly.

"You okay?" she puts a paw on their face
"Just so you know, it's my job to kill people who those creatures accompany. Well, specifically the ones that follow murderers."
She answers all of them that she can with a smile.
They are hot, but they smile, “I’m fine, just a little sick.”
“Good thing I’m just a thief an’ not a murderer huh?” She saunters over with her bag of tomatoes, the creature on her leg staying there.
After a while, Merabelle comes out and serves all the kids a piping hot meal, including her daughter Annabelle.
“I do not want you to have to be close to it.” They respond.
Thirteen is rather disconcerted by this but says nothing.
"Then.. will you burn the book and collect the ashes in the box?..."
"So, whats the current project?"
“Of course.”
“I’m starting to compile a treatise on every recognized god of death in the current day. It’s difficult since so many gods of death are, well, dead, but I’m up for it.”

"I... thank you, so much.." he lays on the carpet, sighing
"You talked to Saphuno's brother yet? The... fox hic guy?"
“It is of no consequence.” They respond, petting you a bit.
“Not yet, but eventually. I’ll probably also have to talk to Morgana…”

He leans into their hand a bit, staring at his own paw; specifically the ring
"Whossat?"
They lie beside you and curl up against you.
