"I would gladly accept your payment. I am known as the Desperation Chef because of my ability to stretch handfuls of poor ingredients into gourmet feasts, yes, but also because of my origins. As a male surfaceborn drow with no family, I was never going to be accepted by the Underdark, or even Waterdeep unless I made an impact. So I became a pillar of the community in Mistshore, helping where I could even while I had no home or wealth of my own. I've lived off the kindness of strangers for 34 years, and I don't regret a moment of it. I can bring out the nutrition of the food I cook, so I've provided for the sick and injured using the most meager ingredients. My displays of kindness in the face of discrimination and abject poverty earned me my title. I am not a supreme cook, but on a tight budget I will feed people more and better than a true master with the same."
She listens intently, his words tugging at her heartstrings. She nods, smiling softly. "A touching tale, and I'm glad you're alive to tell it. I am not as resourceful, but I can cook with about anything. Jacob, welcome to the family."
He smiles back, his big eyes soft and warm. "Thank you, Mrs. Saphuno. If you would allow me, I will learn to prepare whatever you need me to. Perhaps I could use the knowledge gained to slash prices while maintaining quality and profits. Small alterations to the recipe to make the dishes I prepare easier and quicker."

Hi! I'm EJO. I am a silly billy who forgets to play Genshin Impact every day and totally DOESN'T simp for at least three different ninja girls. Some other facts about me:
Milio has been ditched. Now Xerath is my friend.
My average accuracy in Marvel Rivals is about 15%.
"At the moment, I'm serving lots of organ meats, put into pancakes and served with a variety of toppings. Sweet and savory is the winning combination here. I even managed to get my hands on some cream for whipping and for the spiced pseudo-coffee."
"Organ meats is liver and that like, right? And what the heck is a pseudo-coffee?" Neave seems intrigued and incredibly confused at the same time.
"Liver is an organ meat, but I find it's better to put in its own category. Stomach, heart, kidneys, lungs, intestines, and the rest, all prepared diligently. They're quite delicious when prepared properly. Pseudo-coffee is a concoction of my invention that cannot be accurately called coffee, but it is brewed in a similar fashion. It is lower in caffeine, and has a gentler flavor, so I add spices to make it tolerable to die-hard coffee fans who expected me to use real coffee grounds. Coffee is expensive, and I lack the funds to serve it to large groups."

"Well, somewhere nearby is my book of recipes, and we might be able to learn from each other, dear. I think I will sit down to eat something, preferably something I've already prepared, would you like to join me?"
His eyes widen slightly. "Y-yes please. You want to learn... from me? Are you certain, ma'am?"

"Jacob, youve got a great talent, or so I hear from you.. I need to be able to cook with as little as possible, just in case.." She takes a few of the dishes she's made to a table, heading back to grab two tankards of ale. She sits at the table. "Come dig in, don't be shy."
"I'll gladly teach you everything I've learned." He eats his meal passionately, clearly hungry despite his well-nourished body and his hearty breakfast hours before.

She smiles back at them, licking her lips and gesturing them over, looking affectionately at them.
“No no, candied apples would be fine, you don’t have to make me anything.”
She looks up at them, frowning as she pulls back from the hug, putting her hands on her hips, “What’s up?”
When he's dry, he comes over to sit in her lap. "Hello, dear."
"I'll make something for you whether you like it or not." she laughs, getting busy. "Wander? Do you need something?"
"I'm working, dear. Apologies for my distance." he shuffles over to a man on a table, secured to it via plastic wrap and ductape
She wraps her arms around them, resting her head on their shoulder, “Hello, love. Enjoying your swim?”
Wander looks up and over to them, shaking his head, “You are enough of a gift for me.” Sylvia scoffs, “He loves anything anyone gives him, the thought of a gift excites him.”
She sits down nearby and watches silently once she understands the situation, wanting to see them work.
"I'll gladly teach you everything I've learned." He eats his meal passionately, clearly hungry despite his well-nourished body and his hearty breakfast hours before.
She pushes a tankard to him, eating with the same fervor. Every bite is delicious.
He downs the tankard with the thirst of an experienced drinker. "Did you know," he says between bites, "that the water in Mistshore isn't safe to drink? I brew my own beer and serve it at my soup kitchen, but it's nowhere near this strong. This is some amazing stuff."

She watches with silently with her glowing eyes, not going near the water for some reason.
She looks up at them, “Do you have any apples? Those might be good, if you have any, or you should get some.”
She hugs them once she’s inside, kissing their face and smiling “Honey! Sorry I coulda come sooner.” She nuzzles their chest.
