“What else is a dying shame?” He asks, more curious than anything.
“Exactly, now all we’ve got to do is wait for the soup to finished settling, how is your breath weapon training coming?”
He thinks for a moment before taking them and looking at the drums.
"Ya killed me."
"It's good!" he blows out a small cone of flame
He stands up from the stool, watching.
He sighs, thinking about it, “I did… and I am still sorry about that.”
He smiles at them, picking them up, “That was amazing, you are progressing well.”
He moves to the stool and begins to play, he’s awful, but he tries.
"Its alright. I'm still here."
He holds them a bit to support himself, beaming. "Thank you dad!"
He tries to guide them on a simple beat.
“Maybe I can get enough life force together and give you a second chance.”
He gives them a kiss on the forehead before beginning to fill their bowl with warm soup.
He tries to listen, he doesn’t do much better, but he’s slowly learning.
"My body's gone, rotting in your backyard."
He smiles, sniffing the soup as his stomach rumbles
"There you go, like that."
“I… I could get you a new body, and enough life force to bring you back.”
He hands them a spoon, taking himself a bowl, “Eat up, son.”
He continues going, never moving from their teachings.
"I liked my old one, a lot."
He does so, blowing on it a bit (he likes soup because of the broth, btw)
When he's ready, Thomas shows him a few additions, adding to the beat.
He thinks more and more about it, “What about I make it to where you can have it back, we can be together with your own body?”
(Lovely) He begins to eat his own, smiling down at them in the only way a father can.
He takes every teaching in stride, needing a few times to learn, but learning.
"if you can figure out how, though I might not reside in it. I like being invisible
He eats heartily when it's cool enough, outpacing even Rag.
"Wow, what a natural." he says at one point, enjoying the sound of new music.
“I want what would make you happy, if that’s harvesting souls until you can be in your body again, or until you become a powerful specter, I enjoy either.”
Thane pats their head, “Take yer time, ya don’t want ta choke.”
He still isn’t doing great, just the best he can with what he knows how to do, smiling.

"A specter sounds wonderful." she cackles a bit
"I'm okay. this is soooo good!" he continues to eat
"Eat your heart out, Peter Criss!" he laughs
“Then it’s settled, I’ll kill and kill until we can be together in the way you want.”
He smiles “I’m proud ya like it, enjoy every bite then, even the vegetables I snuck in there.”
he laughs with them, giving back the sticks “I don’t think I’m that good yet.”
“What else is a dying shame?” He asks, more curious than anything.

"Thank ya, johnny." a ghost kiss
"Vegetables are good." he notes, repeating lessons he's been taught.
He takes the sticks, and they disappear with the kit. "You're gettin' there."
“Anything for you Matilda.” He smiles brightly, and looks for another person to shoot.
“Ah, good, yer learnin’.” He says, patting their head and lying next to them on the grass.
“If you say so, I should probably get back, thanks for the lesson.” He stands up.
Sitting outside, reading a book and humming to himself, just a carefree child sits, Tim is happy and enjoying his simple life.
“What is a shame, dear? That we can’t truly be together?”
“But ya’ve got to eat healthy, an’ stay strong.”
He sighs and shakes his head “I guess that you’re right.”
*Cut for Salem.*
