He stops at the door, burning the doorframe with contact to his hand.
He laughs, “But you’re glad you didn’t, I would say I’ve given you some of the greatest nights of your life, if nothing else.”
“You aren’t fine now, again, I’m going to protect you because that’s my job, and I’m not going to fail my job.”
She goes to say something before Hinven cuts her off. "Stay safe."
"Oh, are we dismissing the kids now?" she laughs, setting him down.
"Mrya wishes protector was less strict.." she huffs, crossing her arms.
“What was Cedin going to say.” He turns back to them, his eyes harsh, but not at them.
He lies down in the roof, looking to the sky, “Soon enough one of them will be married, who knows after that.”
He pats their head, “Too bad.” He sits on the couch, taking his guitar back out and tuning it.
"W-why are you so upset?.."
She follows him, watching the stars. "I'm not ready for her to leave.."
She sighs and drags her plush to the couch, snuggling up to it and resting her head on his leg. "Toy protecter is nicer than real protector." she teases
“Because, I never expected myself to fall in love, and now, existence wants to stop me from getting married. I love you three.” He walks out to go do some work.
He puts a hand on their cheek, “I don’t think we ever will be, but that won’t stop it from happening.”
“Toy protector also doesn’t work as hard as real protector.” He begins to play softly, not loud enough to interrupt their conversation, just checking out the acoustics in the house.
All three converse sadly, watching as he goes.
"I know.." she holds his hand. "Still got Sebeastian."
"Toy protector lets Myra fluff pet wheneeeever she wants!~"
(Good end, who’s pick?)
“But you’ve seen how quickly Domino grew up, I doubt Sebastian will be far behind. Upside… we’ll have the house to ourselves.”
He rolls his eyes, cracking his neck as muscles become more defined and fur expands along with his maw, becoming his half animal form “Better?”
(I think yours)
"He'll grow slower than her.. boys and that. You better get fixed before that happens, i'm not raising 47 kids."
She squeals and giggles, nuzzling up to him and holding pawfuls of his fur.
(Hmm… Annabelle.)
“I’ll be careful, dear. You are just as much a part of this as I am anyway, I make sure to ask every time.” He sighs, looking at the stars.
He sighs, wrapping his strong arms around them, “This is the treat you get for me missing your birthday.”
Annabelle is cooking for the littles
"I know you do, but still~" she giggles, pulling him closer
She sighs contently, tail thrashing behind her. "Mmm, protector gives good snuggles when he's not angy~"
They hear a knock at the door, while Merabelle is out, doing some other things.
He nuzzles into them, rolling on top of them, crawling up to their face.
He rolls his eyes, eventually letting go of them, “You are welcome.” He leans back into the chair, going back to plucking the guitar.
He nods aggressively. "Was that what the divination was for?"
The knife heats to red hot. "Alright... If you ever need me... I'll be waiting..."
“That would be the boss, just double checking, you probably didn’t notice the first time when you walked in.”
He drops the knife before it starts really burning him, cursing “[gp]ing… what was that?” He turns to them.
"Interesting... A benign use of such an ability is quite rare." He cuts a slice of the pie and places it on his plate. "This is so exciting... magic was only used for war in my country. Anyone with the talent was drafted in a heartbeat."
The squire looks up. He processes for a second, then his eyes widen and he looks away. "Oh, gods... I... I should go." He stands up.
“Annabelle it’s been ferever! I woulda come sooner if I knew!” She smiles brightly up at them, “Found her momma yet?”
“Love you the most. Perhaps we stay the smallest bit longer, just you and I…”
He thinks about his answer, before sighing “I don’t want to get too attached, looks like I’ve already failed at that.”
"Yeah, I found 'er. she runs this place."
"Not on the roof, absoloutely not. And not for a while after that boy."
She frowns, holding his knee. "Protector will always be with Myra, why not be a bit close?..."
She puts her hands on her hips, “Ya never seemed like the good charity type, guess I was wrong ‘bout ya.” She pulls back.
“Not what I was suggesting, I don’t think about that all the time you know? I’m still not twenty.”
“Always… maybe… I’ll think about it.” He breaks the eye contact, going into that deep thought of his.
"Oh, ya hush. I steal from men, ain't mean I cant care for what my momma loves. Come in, Scales."
"Well, sorry.." she giggles, closing her eyes. "Maybe we rest here tonight.."
She whines, hugging his leg.
She goes inside, “Rob ‘em blind after they fall head over heels, speakin’ o’ which, I got a boyfriend!” She looks for the children.
He laughs, kissing her cheek and nuzzling up, “That would be wonderful, and Domino knows we’re fine.”
He pulls them up, resting their head on his chest before getting back to it.
The kids swarm her, yelling and asking questions. "You, of all people? he must be crazy!"
She holds him close, yawning. "Indeed she will."
She gasps and smiles, holding his stomach and nuzzling his fluff
“Ya wouldn’t know the half o’ it, ain’t don’t ya get my started ‘bout crazy lil Anna.” She cackles, answering all the kids questions.
He closes his eyes, falling into a peaceful slumber.
He makes sure to stay fluffy for them, “Are you hungry? Thirsty? I can’t assume the home is stocked.”
"Still am crazy, at that. ye hungry?"
(good end, here's a new guy) Standing at the border of the town is a humanoid robot that resembles a priest, robes and all, silver and gilded with gold. On the back of the robot are clear tubes that run water over a cross embedded into the back. The robot Is about 8 feet tall, and quite clunky
"Yeah, a bit of both..."
“Course I am, an’ even if I wasn’t, I ain’t gonna deny food from ya.”
A child follows after the robot, looking up at them with awe in his eyes, though absolute power radiates off of him seemingly at all times, an absolute monster. He pats them softly, “Hello?”
“I’ll get you something to drink and eat, stay here, and listen this time.” He stands up.

Moonshine is standing there, smiling like the sun when she sees them “Annabelle? Annabelle!” She hugs them tight.
He leans down and kisses her neck, smiling “I love you, dear.”
He bristles for a moment, sighing and looking down at them with something close to care in his eyes.
“Annabelle it’s been ferever! I woulda come sooner if I knew!” She smiles brightly up at them, “Found her momma yet?”

Thirteen is still communing with every higher being he can reach. He's currently in a trance in one of the chairs in the common room.
Mauric is on the roof, feeding birds and trying to get them to nest.
Loriche is waiting for customers.
Riotan is hanging around.

Tim, who he had met previously, happens to be nearby, sensing their outward going messages as he seems to write in some magic book.
Pimento happens to stumble upon them, tossing his knife inbetween his hands, stopping when he sees them, tilting his head.

Thirteen is basically just sending out an SOS on an open channel, but via astral pulses.
"Hiya sir! I got a ton of magic items and handcrafts here. See anything you like?"
