"...So our fears were true, then." Ea is silent for a while- they know how common it is for novice star druids to lose themselves to the unknowable, how more experienced ones know how to avoid that fate... but Rennick just saw the wrong thing at the wrong time. "I am truly sorry. I shall see if there is anything we can do for him."
(Sure! I don't have any particular preference- use whoever you'd like!)
*I don't know! I have so many to choose from, eh, I'll think of something later.*
"Just know, if ya want ta free him completely, yer gonna have ta remove the memory... even with it, I don't think his body'll be the same as it used ta be." She shakes her head, "I wish I was there, coulda helped him befer... Anyway, I gotta go check on the girl, see if Omori's gotten anythin' new learned." She hugs the angel, before flying off.
*Sorry about the delay*
"I know- this curse... it is more common that we'd like it to be. We'll see what we can do." The celestial attempts to 'hug' her back with their rings, before they drift back into the starry sea. Omori parts ways with the other star angel she was talking with, just beginning to float back over to her mother.
She smiles and hugs them tight once she gets close enough to them, patting their head, “What did ya learn ‘bout, sweetheart? Tell me all ‘bout yer conversation an’ all that.” She asks, curious to know what they’ve learned.
"I learned so much- I brought paper and pencils with me so I could write it all down so I'd never forget it!" She rummages through her satchel for a moment, before producing a few carefully-folded pieces of paper and giving them to her for her to read. The papers have writing on almost every available surface detailing what she learned. "Fi taught me all about how star pacts work, and more about what an emissary does, and they gave me some advice about how my magic works that I hope will help me figure out how to cast 2nd level spells- it's all so cool!" She explains very quickly and energetically, obviously over the moon about everything she's learned.
She pats their head as she looks over all of the papers with a smile on her face, fangs glistening, and her endless hunger far from her mind as she thinks about all the leaps and bounds their daughter has made in such a little time. She sighs, looking around the place one last time, “‘Bout time we get back home, ain’t it? We can comes visit again later, but fer now, ya gotta get bathed, bed time’s comin’ up.”

She looks around the place as well. "Yeah, that's a good idea. I'd like to visit here again some time soon, but for now we should probably get back home and rest." She decides, turning back to face her with a wide grin. The flower in her hair floats from its perch and into the starry sea for a second before Omori grabs it again and tucks it back in her hair, giggling a bit.

She leads them back to where they entered, knowing by the planar fluctuations and nothing else, the realm looks like the night sky, but with waves like the ocean, there is almost nothing to discern anywhere from anywhere else. She seems to fall into the ocean of dark, taking them with her and leading them back to her room, the portal closing behind them.

Omori lands flat on her face upon exiting the portal, not having expected the sudden change from swimming to falling, but doesn't seem hurt at all- she just gets up right after, laughing a bit to herself. "That was amazing- I hope I can learn a lot more from them. Thank you, mom."

And with that, she leaves back to her room, setting the notes she took during her conversation with the star angel and setting them on her desk- right next to the papers full of ramblings in symbols she no longer recognizes from back when she was... ill. Maybe she'd understand them easier if... no, that's an awful idea. She quickly dismisses the intrusive musings, and leaves the room to go take a bath and get rid of that distinctive ozone smell from the stellar sea.

*I’m here now, sorry.*
He silently nods, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.
She gives off more than expected, but not much more than that, pulling back after a moment, “Better every time.”
He gets up, and goes off to make them some popcorn.
“What did we drink… our first date?”
“What do you want to do today?” She asks, running her claw along their side.
He cooks the popcorn while he sits on the couch, blasting it with electrical power.
“That… please.” He smiles, joyfully.
She picks them up, and begins walking “I am going to find you something, a gift from me to you.”
He puts down the steaming popcorn, “Now, what movie do you want to watch?” He looks to the window, “And your parents just seem to be… gone I guess.”
He takes one of the glasses, clinking it against the other gently before beginning to sip, looking into her eyes.
“It will be, maybe we drink and kiss after.” She shrugs.
He goes through all the disk movies he’s got, thinking “That sounds good, but what?”
He doesn’t drink as fast as he, digging into his food, enjoying each bite, it’s better than eating dirt, so it’s good to him.
She kisses their neck, “Maybe we kiss now too.”
He looks for a moment, going deep down before pulling something out “I got this.” He passes the movie to her.
