Heat. Heat is life, warmth sustains the living, keeps us from boiling over into the cold abyss of death. The great flame, the greatest piece of flame this world can hope to hold shines brightly in the sky, keeping that heat, just enough to hold us gently, like a mother cradling their child. But heat, heat is more than warmth, it is as much as divine punishment as it is a gift, throughout the world, death by flames is excruciating, and as such, there are those given the job of taking those who have gone infernal from this world, freeing them from the pain of the flames. The Special Fire Force.
A new branch of the Special Fire Force has opened on the outskirts of the town, existing in a newly renovated, once dilapidated building, now the home of Company 9. With a large sign over the wall at the front, looking closer to a church than a fire station, with a fountain sitting in the newly grown out front garden. Someone sits at that fountain, resting on their own legs, hands tented together in prayer as he mutters to himself. He's large, not to a special degree, but more fit and muscular than tall, wearing a simple white gi and black sandals, both holding the symbol of the Fire Force, a symbol of the Holy Sol Church sits around his neck. He's got a small beard, closer to stubble, and hair tied into a black ponytail on the back of his head, resting on one of his shoulders. His hands are rugged from work, with coiling dragon tattoos on each of his arms, slightly different with each, but both burned by Tebrosis, the pyrokinetic's disease, flakes of skin turned to ash falling to the ground. His face is burned, leaving a scar that has fused part of his mouth together, forcing him to keep it partially closed at all times, making his teeth usually gritted and voice deep, along with one of his eye lids being completely burned off, making his look intimidating.
After his prayer is complete, he stands up, and goes for a walk around the new district he's been assigned to protect.
