A man, standing 6'4, walks into the tavern. He has slightly tanned skin over his muscular frame, his face is obscured by a black cloth mask with a upside down red star. He wears a dark brown trench-coat, no shirt over his chest with displays a upside down pentagram branded into his it, brown trousers held up by a black leather belt with a gold buckle, thick brown boots, and a pair of black leather gloves with metal nibs on the knuckles so when he throws a punch, it hurts the recipient. On his hip, in a holster, is a pistol while around his shoulder, connected to a strap is a shotgun.
He goes over to the board, picks up the bounty poster and chuckles. He stuffs it in his pocket and then walks to the bar, calling for a shot of whiskey.
Avery watches him from the stairs, not walking over
The man pours his drink in through a slit in his throat.
Avery walks over, sitting next to him and ordering a whiskey
After an exchange with timber, the man has a pistol pointed at his head
He sighs, "Timber, we can't hurt people in here."
"Don't expect me to not do anything when my life is on the line"
"Both our ,ives are on the line but causing un-needed bloodshed may not be the best idea
"Fine" timber says, before putting the pistol back in the holster
Avery smiles at timber warmly, "Thank you."
Timber turns back to the man "please leave me and my boyfriend's alone" he says, wrapping his arm around avery
"Yea, we stick together!" Avery says
*Welp, Lawrence dipped*
Timber orders dinner for them, he orders fried catfish for himself and avery
*Yep*
Avery smiles, "thanks timber"
"No problem, I want to show you something later" he says, smiling back
"Sure, sounds good." He nods
*Time skip to when they finish dinner*
"That was delicious"
"Agreedm been too long since i had catfish."
Timber takes Avery's hand " there's something I would like to show you" he says, smiling at Avery
"Alright, lead the way." He smiles, holding timber's hand
He takes them to a park that has been decorated for Christmas, with lights hanging between the trees. The light casts a clow on the path that they are walking on. A nearby building has waltz like music coming out of it. Timber bows and kisses Avery's hand "may I have this dance?"

Avery chukles, doing a small curtsy as he nods, "Yes you may"
*Inspired by the time Azazel and Galax danced, and also by the classical music I am listening to rn*
Timber takes one arm and wraps it around Avery's waist, starting to slowdance
Dirty 20 for performance, this cat knows the moves
Avery follows along, before taking the lead:
*Time to show why avery should've been a bard -.-* 32, or 27. whichever is higher
*How. Do . You. Have. A . +17. To. Performance*
Timber let's Avery take the lead, letting Avery dip them
*WHY THE HYUCK NOT* *i love shantys*
Avery leads them on an extravagent waltz, dipping, twirling, even picking them up like an ice skater once
After the music stops, timber leans on Avery, "youre the best dance partner I've ever had"
He grins, laughing a little, "I am? Thanks timber." He says, "You're pretty good yourself."
Timber continues walking through the garden with Avery, eventually, they come to a clearing with a nice view of the lake. A single hammock is in a nearby tree

The Brand stood outside. He was taking careful aim with his revolver so his shot would sink into the straw stuffed dummy standing against a tree about 100 yards from him. He was humming some sort of tune to himself while taking aim.
He was dressed in a black tank-top, simple brown slacks with a pale brown leather belt, simple boots, and his mask over his face. His array of guns floated beside him, invisibly held up by some sort of force.
A shot rang through the forest as he hit the dummy with stunning accuracy. He grinned to himself, proud with his perfect shot. He looks at the wanted poster in his pocket, committing the two, Avery and Timber’s, picture to mind so he could hunt them.

Jack was outside. He was in the center of a clearing in the middle of a ring of trees. He wore a soft, grey turtle-neck sweater, black slacks with a belt that held his sheathed dagger, a pair of brown leather boots, and black gloves over his hands. A sack was slung around his shoulder, it was made from pitch black leather that was shined with oils. A curious item that was also strapped to his belt was a mithral plated pistol, it shined in the morning light.
Floating to Jack’s right was a journal labeled “Beasts of a Curious Nature” in silver writing printed on its leather cover, and a thermos. He took the thermos from the air and unscrewed it. Inside was steaming tea that he poured into a cup and drank it.
He was planning on hunting a few beasts today to harvest their magic and physical properties to use in spells.

Lore was deep under the earth. She was exploring a cave in the center of the forest and quite far beneath the earthen soil. Two of her dogs accompanied her, Elmo and Nicky. Their glowing blue eyes gave her some sort of comfort while exploring.
Clusters of green glowing mushrooms dotted the walls, ceiling, and floor. They pierced the darkness but gave off shadows that made Lore shiver a bit from fright. She heard water dripping from the ceiling on to the ground in puddles. The damp air stuck to her skin.
She gently placed her hand on the side of the cave wall, feeling the rough damp stone beneath her skin. She swore she could hear breathing right in her ear but when she looked around, no one was there.
Deeper within the cave, a growl pierced the stagnant air. Her dogs growled back in response to the threat made by the unseen beast ahead.
