The Brand stood outside. He was taking careful aim with his revolver so his shot would sink into the straw stuffed dummy standing against a tree about 100 yards from him. He was humming some sort of tune to himself while taking aim.
He was dressed in a black tank-top, simple brown slacks with a pale brown leather belt, simple boots, and his mask over his face. His array of guns floated beside him, invisibly held up by some sort of force.
A shot rang through the forest as he hit the dummy with stunning accuracy. He grinned to himself, proud with his perfect shot. He looks at the wanted poster in his pocket, committing the two, Avery and Timber’s, picture to mind so he could hunt them.

Jack was outside. He was in the center of a clearing in the middle of a ring of trees. He wore a soft, grey turtle-neck sweater, black slacks with a belt that held his sheathed dagger, a pair of brown leather boots, and black gloves over his hands. A sack was slung around his shoulder, it was made from pitch black leather that was shined with oils. A curious item that was also strapped to his belt was a mithral plated pistol, it shined in the morning light.
Floating to Jack’s right was a journal labeled “Beasts of a Curious Nature” in silver writing printed on its leather cover, and a thermos. He took the thermos from the air and unscrewed it. Inside was steaming tea that he poured into a cup and drank it.
He was planning on hunting a few beasts today to harvest their magic and physical properties to use in spells.

Lore was deep under the earth. She was exploring a cave in the center of the forest and quite far beneath the earthen soil. Two of her dogs accompanied her, Elmo and Nicky. Their glowing blue eyes gave her some sort of comfort while exploring.
Clusters of green glowing mushrooms dotted the walls, ceiling, and floor. They pierced the darkness but gave off shadows that made Lore shiver a bit from fright. She heard water dripping from the ceiling on to the ground in puddles. The damp air stuck to her skin.
She gently placed her hand on the side of the cave wall, feeling the rough damp stone beneath her skin. She swore she could hear breathing right in her ear but when she looked around, no one was there.
Deeper within the cave, a growl pierced the stagnant air. Her dogs growled back in response to the threat made by the unseen beast ahead.
The brand: timber is leaning against a tree, not in the line of fire
The Brand sniffs the air, raising his head ever so slightly to catch the smell. He chuckles and loads the barrel of his revolver.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you" timber says, walking twords the brand

Phoenix is cleaning his guns, enjoying the weather.
Alric is grumping.

Phoenix walks up to Jack. "Whats up?"
There is a popping noise as Theren appears. He blinks wearily, his eyes adjusting. "Mornin Lore."

Lore walks up to him and places a hand on his forehead. Her icy silver eyes seem to glint in the dim light as she searches over Theren to find out what was wrong with him.

The brand: timber is leaning against a tree, not in the line of fire
The Brand sniffs the air, raising his head ever so slightly to catch the smell. He chuckles and loads the barrel of his revolver.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you" timber says, walking twords the brand
"sorry mate, you got a pretty big bounty on yer head" he said.
"The only reason I have that bounty, is because the same person who killed my sister ordered me to kill the man I love." Timber says, slightly upset "I never asked for any of this..."
"Sorry to hear that mate but I don't care." He said and raised his pistol. You can see infernal runes etched over the barrel as a hellish fire blazes in the barrel. He tilts his head "for the record, you seem nice but I need the money." (Hit: 20 Damage: 2 + 7 fire damage)
No surprise rounds, role initiative for me with a +15 for timber

It doesn't do much to timber, who is going to attack again, preventing brand from taking opportunity attacks against him, and use the tabaxi speed thingy to move 60 feet away back to the tavern

It doesn't do much to timber, who is going to attack again, preventing brand from taking opportunity attacks against him, and use the tabaxi speed thingy to move 60 feet away back to the tavern
He snarls and is going to cast teleport on himself to me him near the tavern

"Forgive the mess, I am trying to regain my sanity again."
Theren is downstairs wrapped in multiple blankets. He is pale and trembling.
Phoenix is cleaning his guns, enjoying the weather.
Alric is grumping.
――――――――
―――――――――
Phoenix walks up to Jack. "Whats up?"
There is a popping noise as Theren appears. He blinks wearily, his eyes adjusting. "Mornin Lore."
Jack looks up and smiles "Hunting beasts... Why?" He asked and tilts his head.
Lore jumps a bit, almost yelping. She looks over at him and whispers "Hey.. You ok? And good morning.."
"Mind if I help?" Phoenix asks while crouching down near him.
Theren looks around the cave, coughing slightly. "Been better." He mumbles, wrapping his cloak closer around himself.
Jack raises an eyebrow "not like you to ask but I suppose so." He said with a chuckle. He hands the book to Phoenix and points at a page with a sketch of a newly hatched green dragon wyrmling on it. "I need its blood, scales, and teeth to use for a spell of mine" he explained.
Lore walks up to him and places a hand on his forehead. Her icy silver eyes seem to glint in the dim light as she searches over Theren to find out what was wrong with him.
"So can I kill it?"
It is some sort of slow acting poison. Theren gently grabs her hand and smiles. "I'll be fine Lore." He looks around the cave with a sigh. "What are you doing down here anyways?"
"There's that blunt desensitized murderer." He mutters under his breath before smiling again "Sure."
"I have to harvest some crystal growths that are all the way down there but we ran into some sort of beast blocking it." She said and places a hand on his shoulder casting Protection from Poison on him.
"Perfect." Phoenix unslings a huge sniper from his back and loads it.
The spell seems to be rejected from his body. Theren nods and whistles loudly. A flaming red door opens next to him and two hellhounds leap out. Theren points down the hall and the hounds start to stalk that way.
