Phoenix is cleaning his guns.

The Brand is talking with devils on a current issues of a bounty.

Jackson is outside, happily writing in his spell book while trying out spells he's created.

Kelipso is sitting inside, sharpening a dagger of his.

Phoenix taps on his shoulder.

Jack looks up and grins. "Well hey there" he chirps and closes the tome, setting it in his bag of holding.

Phoenix's eyes sparkle from under the mask. "Hey back at you."

"How are you" he askes and stands up to meet him.

Phoenix shrugs. "Honestly? I'm fine."

"Well thats good to hear" he says and sticks his hands into his pants pockets. "Need anything from me? or were you just popping by to say hi?"

"Well, I've been AWOL for a while and I decided to check up on my buddy." he says, giving Jack a playful punch in the shoulder.

Jack chuckles and feigns being terribly hurt "Oh noooo, ive been punched" he chuckles again. He stops and smiles again at him "I am glad to see you though"

Phoenix laughs as well. "It's good to see you as well." Phoenix sighs before taking out his knife and fidgeting with it.

Jack stares at him for a minute before mentally making note of his body language. He pipes up again and leans against a tree "What did you do while you were gone?"

"Mostly just....." he hesitates, a bit embarrassed. "Recovering....The army deemed me....unstable."

"Mn? How so?" he askes and narrows his eyes in confusion.

"Whenever we were gonna go after Shepard....I lost control....and beat one of his guards to death, but i didn't stop when the guard was dead." Phoenix looks down at his hands and catches them.

Jack tilts his head again to the side. "Why did you feel the need to do that?" he asked softly.

Phoenix takes a deep breath and unclentches his hands. "I dunno...."

"Was it because you were enraged about what happened to your friends?" he askes.

Phoenix nods. "Mostly my brother..."

"Hm" he said and watched him "Can i ask why your attitude has changed from someone who could kill without feeling?"

Phoenix shrugs. "Maybe cause I'm not in combat anymore. So I've had time to reflect."

"Maybe" he says and chuckles "Im glad you have some feeling even if it was hurting another." he said "shows a bit of improvement in trying to get you better" he smiles sincerely.

Phoenix's eyes don't betray any emotion through the mask, though he sniffles slightly from under the mask.

Jack smile betrays a bit of fret as he reaches up and takes off Phoenix's mask "Bloody hells. crying wont solve anything" he says and smiles again.

Phoenix quickly wipes his eyes. "Sorry, you remind me so much of my older brother."

"Heh, i hope thats a good thing" Jack says and chuckles a bit "Cmon, ill buy you a drink"

"It is a good thing." Phoenix says with a smile.

"Then im glad to hear it" he says and holds open the door.

Phoenix walks inside with a smile

Jack goes over and sits at the bar, ordering a Fire-spice tea with honey.

Pheonix sits down next to him and orders a mug of ale.

Jack makes a face at him "ewww" he says and chuckles

*OH! I just realized a funny I can do!*

A package suddenly arrives in the tavern, Sushi and Rice cease their arguing hurrying to open the package and set up what appears to be a big thermometer in front of a vending machine device.

"Finally, they got around to shipping it over!" Rice says happily beginning to press random buttons

"Uh, that..." Sushi responds as the machine begins to smoke

"Oh no." they say together as both duck for cover

"Well thats good to hear" he says and sticks his hands into his pants pockets. "Need anything from me? or were you just popping by to say hi?"

"Well, I've been AWOL for a while and I decided to check up on my buddy." he says, giving Jack a playful punch in the shoulder.

Jack chuckles and feigns being terribly hurt "Oh noooo, ive been punched" he chuckles again. He stops and smiles again at him "I am glad to see you though"

Phoenix laughs as well. "It's good to see you as well." Phoenix sighs before taking out his knife and fidgeting with it.

Jack stares at him for a minute before mentally making note of his body language. He pipes up again and leans against a tree "What did you do while you were gone?"

"Mostly just....." he hesitates, a bit embarrassed. "Recovering....The army deemed me....unstable."

"Mn? How so?" he askes and narrows his eyes in confusion.

"Whenever we were gonna go after Shepard....I lost control....and beat one of his guards to death, but i didn't stop when the guard was dead." Phoenix looks down at his hands and catches them.

Jack tilts his head again to the side. "Why did you feel the need to do that?" he asked softly.

Phoenix takes a deep breath and unclentches his hands. "I dunno...."

"Was it because you were enraged about what happened to your friends?" he askes.

Phoenix nods. "Mostly my brother..."

"Hm" he said and watched him "Can i ask why your attitude has changed from someone who could kill without feeling?"

Phoenix shrugs. "Maybe cause I'm not in combat anymore. So I've had time to reflect."

"Maybe" he says and chuckles "Im glad you have some feeling even if it was hurting another." he said "shows a bit of improvement in trying to get you better" he smiles sincerely.

Phoenix's eyes don't betray any emotion through the mask, though he sniffles slightly from under the mask.

Jack smile betrays a bit of fret as he reaches up and takes off Phoenix's mask "Bloody hells. crying wont solve anything" he says and smiles again.

Phoenix quickly wipes his eyes. "Sorry, you remind me so much of my older brother."

"Heh, i hope thats a good thing" Jack says and chuckles a bit "Cmon, ill buy you a drink"

"It is a good thing." Phoenix says with a smile.

"Then im glad to hear it" he says and holds open the door.

Phoenix walks inside with a smile

Jack goes over and sits at the bar, ordering a Fire-spice tea with honey.

Pheonix sits down next to him and orders a mug of ale.

Jack makes a face at him "ewww" he says and chuckles

Phoenix rolls his eyes and pulls out a hip flask and pours vodka into the ale.

"Mate...." Jack says exasperated, leaning on one hand.

He looks over it and narrows his eye behind his mask. He sticks it in his pocket and goes to prepare.

For more detail, the murders were done via strangulation or purely bluntforce trauma, indicating the lack of a weapon that can stab

"I'm well, i got some food" He smiles in a slightly more disturbing way for a moment,

(Listening to Billie Eilish's- Bad Guy to get in Brands mood) He grits his teeth, he hated people like these and it was his job to drag them to hell.

"mn?" Kelipso tilts his head at this.

(lmao) The latest spree of deaths was in a small section of the village near the inn

"Caught a rabbit"

He starts heading to it, setting up an Arcane eye at the tavern to invisibly watch people. When he does this, one of his own eyes turn pitch black.

"aww be nice to the bunny." he said and sighed "if you need to feed, im here"

The scene of the crime is taped off from the public, but they would probably let the brand in

"Yeah, but you'll get hypoxia." He says, "Plus you're a delicacy to me," He adds jokingly

He sighs and pulls out a small black marble and crushes it in his palm. He rolls up his mask a bit and consumes the powder. Suddenly his form slinks into the shadows.

Kelipso chuckles again. "Feel like doing anything today?" he askes and tilts his head.

Imma guess that means he goes inside. THe victim was a 28 year old half elf, who seemed to be strangled in his room.

"Besides the person i'm hugging, i wanna go to the market," He says, sitting down next to kelipso

He turns from shadows back into demon-infused human and studies the room and the body. (Investigation: 19 )

"I could go with you if you would like" he offers and chuckles.

Theres some signs of a struggle, so the victim atleast fought back. This rules out sleep strangulation

"Oooo, yes! I don't have money!" He grins

He grumbles. He takes off his glove and cuts his hand with his dagger before spilling the blood on the ground. An Imp crawls up from the blood as if surfacing from a puddle and flies to his shoulder. "Watch and talk to people to see if they have seen anything. Cut deals with them if you have to." he orders as it flies off his shoulder and out a window.

"Oh so now im gonna pay for everything" he jokes and pokes him "If your gonna kill people, at least rob them!"

(Me not fully know how to continue -w-) Theres scraps of cloth around, but overall thats the crime scene

"So graverobbings ok?" He asks excitedly

He sighs and steps back outside and walks back over the border to divide the house from the crime scene.

"No! that not what i meant!"

From the imp, not many people know that this person was murdered, as the local guards are trying to keep panic to a minimum

"Sounds like it was," He grins

He is going to go up to the Guards and threaten them with extreme violence unless they tell him what has happened.

Kelipso chuckles again and grabs his cloak and his gordon and grins "Lets go then"

"Can't you see? Someone was killed." They hiss, not wanting the public to panic

"Woo!" He cheers, pulling a hood over his head

"Yeah. I saw." he hisses right back "And if you dont want another murder.." he says and plants the tip of his dagger against the Guards back "Then you'll tell me everything you know"

Gordon wags his tail and grows to the size of a big horse. Kelipso jumps on and waits for Jason.

He grimaces, "It happened last night. We know that he went home alive, and the next day his wife found him with rope around his neck."

Jason hops on, pattign gordon's side, "Good doggo"

I play a miriad of characters at the lord's rest inn

The guard shakes his head, "I wasn't in the area at the proposed time of death"

Jason grins, enjoying the wind against his face, despite needing to hide in the shade of trees during the trip

I play a miriad of characters at the lord's rest inn

(lmao) The latest spree of deaths was in a small section of the village near the inn

He starts heading to it, setting up an Arcane eye at the tavern to invisibly watch people. When he does this, one of his own eyes turn pitch black.

"aww be nice to the bunny." he said and sighed "if you need to feed, im here"

The scene of the crime is taped off from the public, but they would probably let the brand in

"Yeah, but you'll get hypoxia." He says, "Plus you're a delicacy to me," He adds jokingly

He sighs and pulls out a small black marble and crushes it in his palm. He rolls up his mask a bit and consumes the powder. Suddenly his form slinks into the shadows.

Kelipso chuckles again. "Feel like doing anything today?" he askes and tilts his head.

Imma guess that means he goes inside. THe victim was a 28 year old half elf, who seemed to be strangled in his room.

"Besides the person i'm hugging, i wanna go to the market," He says, sitting down next to kelipso

He turns from shadows back into demon-infused human and studies the room and the body. (Investigation: 19 )

"I could go with you if you would like" he offers and chuckles.

Theres some signs of a struggle, so the victim atleast fought back. This rules out sleep strangulation

"Oooo, yes! I don't have money!" He grins

He grumbles. He takes off his glove and cuts his hand with his dagger before spilling the blood on the ground. An Imp crawls up from the blood as if surfacing from a puddle and flies to his shoulder. "Watch and talk to people to see if they have seen anything. Cut deals with them if you have to." he orders as it flies off his shoulder and out a window.

"Oh so now im gonna pay for everything" he jokes and pokes him "If your gonna kill people, at least rob them!"

(Me not fully know how to continue -w-) Theres scraps of cloth around, but overall thats the crime scene

"So graverobbings ok?" He asks excitedly

He sighs and steps back outside and walks back over the border to divide the house from the crime scene.

"No! that not what i meant!"

From the imp, not many people know that this person was murdered, as the local guards are trying to keep panic to a minimum

"Sounds like it was," He grins

He is going to go up to the Guards and threaten them with extreme violence unless they tell him what has happened.

Kelipso chuckles again and grabs his cloak and his gordon and grins "Lets go then"

"Can't you see? Someone was killed." They hiss, not wanting the public to panic

"Woo!" He cheers, pulling a hood over his head

"Yeah. I saw." he hisses right back "And if you dont want another murder.." he says and plants the tip of his dagger against the Guards back "Then you'll tell me everything you know"
