"It is nothing personal, it is just my job. The Rulers of the Celestial planes sent me down to record what you do and say. Gods have a history of wreaking havoc amongst the lesserfolk, and they wanted to make sure they could hold you accountable for your actions.
"I never wished to hurt them, art was made to inspire."
"Then inspire away and I will write the records of your generosity, you will go down in history as a being more mighty than a muse and all artists will call out to you for aid in their craft. But, if you let your celestial nature obscure your vision and you destroy or harm those the gods protect, then you will be tried in the celestial courts, and the pages will be your downfall."
Fabrut walks in, "What is all this about freeing you?"
"I'm in debt to a devil"
fabrut looks shocked and horrified, "No, this can not be true! I can not be here."
"are you in trouble with the devils?"
"No! I am the very opposite of such creatures! Me being here is putting ALL the planes at risk!
"Can you tell me what's going on?"
"Fine, but I must tell you in secret.."
Fabrut can hear the scritching sound of a pen on paper, almost supernaturally amplified in his ear. The Scrivener is writing.
"Can you not!"
*If you don't like this character, I will stop, I don't want to be annoying. But if not...*
There is no response from the Scrivener, he just continues on with his task.
A drunk Ternikus spills flaming ale he stole from Red Raven on the Scrivener’s book.
The flaming ale seems to be absorbed by the letters of the page which temporarily glow gold in the process. The Scrivener shoots him a withering glare.
Ternikus simply looks at home and yells, “HOW MUCH FOR THE DEVIL HORN?” He than takes a devil horn out of his pocket.
"Get that fiendish artifact away from my presence!" the Scrivener commands.
“I’LL TAKE THAT AS A YES!”
He than tries to hand you the horn while also stealing any money you have.
*I just want to say that the Scrivener is an amazing character.*
*Thank you, he was going to be a NPC in a one-shot, but it never happened. I put him in here because I really want to use him, and I didn't realize all this would happen.*

"How could it?"
"Let's just say a devil's child boasted about there art skills, so I challenged them to an art contest, I won and the called me a fake god, shouted insults and did stuff like that. I cursed them to never pick up a paintbrush, now all devils hate me.
"Just because I'm in debt to them doesn't mean we can't still be friends"
