Clouds begin to form over the tavern as suddenly a woman with pale blue hair that drops over one of her icy silver eyes and even paler skin that is the color of porcelain walks out from the tree. Her elfish ears are caked in frostbite and have earrings, the shape of silver teardrops, hanging from them. Snow begins to fall from the sky as she walks. She wears a long white dress that sparkles slightly like ice and frost on cold day. Over this she wears a cape made from white furs. In one hand, she carries a staff made from black ice, it sharpness defined in every bladed edge.

She is accompanied by two winter wolves that bare teeth at anything that stands in their mistresses' path.

A half-elf looks up from cleaning a bow and raises and eyebrow. He then waves in greeting.

You think she is quite a distance away when suddenly, she seems to use the blizzard to her advantage and is now a mere feet from your face.

Theren lowers his raised eyebrow. "Neat trick."

She studies you, her movements are jerky and wild as she grins suddenly. "Such pain. You ae exquisite"

"Thats a good thing right?"

"Ha! maybe in my eyes but not in the eyes of everyone"

"Right." Theren studies her with his good eye. "Eldrian elf?"

"HA! I am a goddess"

Theren is looking for Oval.

Mars is looking for a good place to meditate by the lake.

*I have a township of characters :D*

Oval is observing two deer as they eat leaves and grass.

<Who did you want for Mars?>

Theren taps her shoulder.

*Lore*

Oval looks up and grins "hey!"

Lore is sitting in the middle of the lake on a floating pallet of ice.

Theren crouches down near her. "Hey Oval I'm a friend of Alric's. Can I talk to you for a moment?"

Mars looks at the ice in wonder.

She nods "Whats wrong?"

Lore stands up after a bit and walks back over to shore

"Alric and I went on an exploration and something happened...." Theren hesitates before saying, "He died Oval. I tried to save him. I'm really really sorry..."

Mars waves at Lore.

Oval stands there for a moment, quiet. Her ear-fins turn from glowing pink to dull grey as she stares at the ground "W-what?"

Lore waves back and walks over "Hello there"

Theren sighs. "He's gone." *I realized that i'd have to tell vega as well last night. THe thought scares me.*

Mars quickly says in sign language, "What were you standing on? On the lake I mean. "

Oval breaks down into a crying mess. (Make a WIS save)

"Ice pallet. I tend to make em when im walking on water"

Wis: 14

"What is ice? "

You feel the overwhelming urge to cry violently

"Cold substance"

Theren just lets himself cry.

"Interesting. " Mars starts to write this in his journal.

Oval forms a small sphere and weeps

"Who're you?"

Theren stops crying and says to Oval. "I'm so sorry Oval. I...I tried to save him..."

"I am Mars. The champion f humanity. "

"HE WAS MY FRIEND! YOU DID NOTHING YOU ARSHGHAT" She curses in Draconic

"Hm, Fascinating!" she says and smiles

Theren looks very hurt at that. "He was my friend to." he says in Draconic, keeping his voice steady.

Mars nods. His helmet creaking against his armor.

"YOU LET HIM DIE!!!" she yells and clasps either side of her head (Make a WIS save again)

Wis: 24

"I did everything I could. I tried to have him resurrected but he didn't want to come back." Theren says, trying to explain.

You feel physic energy prick your mind as she yells at you but you push away the pain.

"Oval...please. I have something he wanted me to give you if he ever died..."

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" She yells at you. (make another WIS save)

Wis: 8

Theren just sets down an old box with dwarvish crafting clearly in it. "Just take this and I'll leave..."

Take 9 psychic damage and you are pushed 30 feet away. "YOU LEAD MY FRIEND TO SLAUGHTER!!!! WHY?!?!"

Theren shakes his head. "If it were up to me he wouldn't have come at all!"

"THEN WHY. WHY?!?!?!?!?"

"I tried to send him back. He wouldn't listen!"

Oval is observing two deer as they eat leaves and grass.

Oval looks up and grins "hey!"

Lore is sitting in the middle of the lake on a floating pallet of ice.

Theren crouches down near her. "Hey Oval I'm a friend of Alric's. Can I talk to you for a moment?"

Mars looks at the ice in wonder.

She nods "Whats wrong?"

Lore stands up after a bit and walks back over to shore

"Alric and I went on an exploration and something happened...." Theren hesitates before saying, "He died Oval. I tried to save him. I'm really really sorry..."

Mars waves at Lore.

Oval stands there for a moment, quiet. Her ear-fins turn from glowing pink to dull grey as she stares at the ground "W-what?"

Lore waves back and walks over "Hello there"

Theren sighs. "He's gone." *I realized that i'd have to tell vega as well last night. THe thought scares me.*

Mars quickly says in sign language, "What were you standing on? On the lake I mean. "

Oval breaks down into a crying mess. (Make a WIS save)

"Ice pallet. I tend to make em when im walking on water"

Wis: 14

"What is ice? "

You feel the overwhelming urge to cry violently

"Cold substance"

Theren just lets himself cry.

"Interesting. " Mars starts to write this in his journal.

Oval forms a small sphere and weeps

"Who're you?"

Theren stops crying and says to Oval. "I'm so sorry Oval. I...I tried to save him..."

"I am Mars. The champion f humanity. "

"HE WAS MY FRIEND! YOU DID NOTHING YOU ARSHGHAT" She curses in Draconic

"Hm, Fascinating!" she says and smiles

Theren looks very hurt at that. "He was my friend to." he says in Draconic, keeping his voice steady.

Mars nods. His helmet creaking against his armor.

"YOU LET HIM DIE!!!" she yells and clasps either side of her head (Make a WIS save again)

Wis: 24

"I did everything I could. I tried to have him resurrected but he didn't want to come back." Theren says, trying to explain.

You feel physic energy prick your mind as she yells at you but you push away the pain.

"Oval...please. I have something he wanted me to give you if he ever died..."

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" She yells at you. (make another WIS save)

Wis: 8

Theren just sets down an old box with dwarvish crafting clearly in it. "Just take this and I'll leave..."

Take 9 psychic damage and you are pushed 30 feet away. "YOU LEAD MY FRIEND TO SLAUGHTER!!!! WHY?!?!"

Theren shakes his head. "If it were up to me he wouldn't have come at all!"

"THEN WHY. WHY?!?!?!?!?"

"I tried to send him back. He wouldn't listen!"

Her elfish ears are caked in frostbite and have earrings, the shape of silver teardrops, hanging from them. Snow begins to fall from the sky as she walks. She wears a long white dress that sparkles slightly like ice and frost on cold day. Over this she wears a cape made from white furs. In one hand, she carries a staff made from black ice, it sharpness defined in every bladed edge.

She is accompanied by two winter wolves that bare teeth at anything that stands in their mistresses' path.

A half-elf looks up from cleaning a bow and raises and eyebrow. He then waves in greeting.

You think she is quite a distance away when suddenly, she seems to use the blizzard to her advantage and is now a mere feet from your face.

Theren lowers his raised eyebrow. "Neat trick."

She studies you, her movements are jerky and wild as she grins suddenly. "Such pain. You ae exquisite"

"Thats a good thing right?"

"Ha! maybe in my eyes but not in the eyes of everyone"

"Right." Theren studies her with his good eye. "Eldrian elf?"

"HA! I am a goddess"

Theren curses under his breath and bows. "Sorry. Shouldn't have assumed."

Oval is observing two deer as they eat leaves and grass.

Theren taps her shoulder.

*Lore*

Oval looks up and grins "hey!"

Lore is sitting in the middle of the lake on a floating pallet of ice.

Theren crouches down near her. "Hey Oval I'm a friend of Alric's. Can I talk to you for a moment?"

Mars looks at the ice in wonder.

She nods "Whats wrong?"

Lore stands up after a bit and walks back over to shore

"Alric and I went on an exploration and something happened...." Theren hesitates before saying, "He died Oval. I tried to save him. I'm really really sorry..."

Mars waves at Lore.

Oval stands there for a moment, quiet. Her ear-fins turn from glowing pink to dull grey as she stares at the ground "W-what?"

Lore waves back and walks over "Hello there"

Theren sighs. "He's gone." *I realized that i'd have to tell vega as well last night. THe thought scares me.*

Mars quickly says in sign language, "What were you standing on? On the lake I mean. "

Oval breaks down into a crying mess. (Make a WIS save)

"Ice pallet. I tend to make em when im walking on water"

Wis: 14

"What is ice? "

You feel the overwhelming urge to cry violently

"Cold substance"

Theren just lets himself cry.

"Interesting. " Mars starts to write this in his journal.

Oval forms a small sphere and weeps

"Who're you?"

Theren stops crying and says to Oval. "I'm so sorry Oval. I...I tried to save him..."

"I am Mars. The champion f humanity. "

"HE WAS MY FRIEND! YOU DID NOTHING YOU ARSHGHAT" She curses in Draconic

"Hm, Fascinating!" she says and smiles

Theren looks very hurt at that. "He was my friend to." he says in Draconic, keeping his voice steady.

Mars nods. His helmet creaking against his armor.

"YOU LET HIM DIE!!!" she yells and clasps either side of her head (Make a WIS save again)

Wis: 24

"I did everything I could. I tried to have him resurrected but he didn't want to come back." Theren says, trying to explain.

You feel physic energy prick your mind as she yells at you but you push away the pain.

"Oval...please. I have something he wanted me to give you if he ever died..."

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" She yells at you. (make another WIS save)

Wis: 8

Theren just sets down an old box with dwarvish crafting clearly in it. "Just take this and I'll leave..."

Take 9 psychic damage and you are pushed 30 feet away. "YOU LEAD MY FRIEND TO SLAUGHTER!!!! WHY?!?!"

Theren shakes his head. "If it were up to me he wouldn't have come at all!"

"THEN WHY. WHY?!?!?!?!?"

"I tried to send him back. He wouldn't listen!"

"ITS YOUR FAULT. YOU PUT THE IDEA IN HIS MIND! NOW HE'S DEAD!!!!"

Theren sits down on the ground. "I know....I always try to fix things but leave them more broken."

She balls up her fists and runs into the forest.

Clouds begin to form over the tavern as suddenly a woman with pale blue hair that drops over one of her icy silver eyes and even paler skin that is the color of porcelain walks out from the tree. Her elfish ears are caked in frostbite and have earrings, the shape of silver teardrops, hanging from them. Snow begins to fall from the sky as she walks. She wears a long white dress that sparkles slightly like ice and frost on cold day. Over this she wears a cape made from white furs. In one hand, she carries a staff made from black ice, it sharpness defined in every bladed edge.

She is accompanied by two winter wolves that bare teeth at anything that stands in their mistresses' path.

A half-elf looks up from cleaning a bow and raises and eyebrow. He then waves in greeting.

You think she is quite a distance away when suddenly, she seems to use the blizzard to her advantage and is now a mere feet from your face.

Theren lowers his raised eyebrow. "Neat trick."

She studies you, her movements are jerky and wild as she grins suddenly. "Such pain. You ae exquisite"

"Thats a good thing right?"

"Ha! maybe in my eyes but not in the eyes of everyone"

"Right." Theren studies her with his good eye. "Eldrian elf?"

"HA! I am a goddess"

Theren curses under his breath and bows. "Sorry. Shouldn't have assumed."

"Mn" She snaps her head to the left as her silver eyes study him

Theren looks directly into her eyes before looking away.

She lays a hand on his head (Make a CON save)

The best thing you can do, to make yourself happy and for the sake of your well-being, is to explain to them what you are, that you are going to be this way, and if they dont like it, cut them out of your life.*

*I think the hardest part for me was trying to explain to my parents and that got so bad that I filed for emacipation and now live with my sister*

He grits his teeth as he's shoved away, letting out a held breath as he stops, moving forward past the pain*)

Oval is just RADIATING physic energy that is being filtered in with the pain of loosing her friend.

Vega steps forward, pushing through the psychic onslaught Oval is releasing, his own energy wrapped around him like a blanket in a sandstorm

"GET AWAY FROM ME!!!" she yells, her angry energy flaring.

"You aren't alone Oval." He says, his energy shifting to clash with hers, feeling like she's being both pulled forward and pushes back

She narrows her eyes, they are blotted with tears that drop onto the ground "HE'S GONE... HE'S GONE!!"

"I know he is, but you need to control yourself." He says, taking another few steps forward

"I-I DONT WANT TO.!!!"

"I understand," He says softly

She seems to calm down a bit but the push of energy is still there

He continues forward, less push7ng against her and more wrapping around her energy, containing it in a bubble of his own magic, "Grieving hurts, and lashing out feels like it helps."

She nods a bit... wiping her eyes

He finally reaches her, kneeling infront of her, his energy wrapped around her like a quilt

Theren is looking for Oval.

Mars is looking for a good place to meditate by the lake.

Oval is observing two deer as they eat leaves and grass.

<Who did you want for Mars?>

Theren taps her shoulder.

*Lore*

Oval looks up and grins "hey!"

Lore is sitting in the middle of the lake on a floating pallet of ice.

Theren crouches down near her. "Hey Oval I'm a friend of Alric's. Can I talk to you for a moment?"

Mars looks at the ice in wonder.

She nods "Whats wrong?"

Lore stands up after a bit and walks back over to shore

"Alric and I went on an exploration and something happened...." Theren hesitates before saying, "He died Oval. I tried to save him. I'm really really sorry..."

Mars waves at Lore.

Oval stands there for a moment, quiet. Her ear-fins turn from glowing pink to dull grey as she stares at the ground "W-what?"

Lore waves back and walks over "Hello there"

Theren sighs. "He's gone." *I realized that i'd have to tell vega as well last night. THe thought scares me.*

Mars quickly says in sign language, "What were you standing on? On the lake I mean. "

Oval breaks down into a crying mess. (Make a WIS save)

"Ice pallet. I tend to make em when im walking on water"

Wis: 14

"What is ice? "

You feel the overwhelming urge to cry violently

"Cold substance"

Theren just lets himself cry.

"Interesting. " Mars starts to write this in his journal.

Oval forms a small sphere and weeps

"Who're you?"

Theren stops crying and says to Oval. "I'm so sorry Oval. I...I tried to save him..."

"I am Mars. The champion f humanity. "

"HE WAS MY FRIEND! YOU DID NOTHING YOU ARSHGHAT" She curses in Draconic

"Hm, Fascinating!" she says and smiles

Theren looks very hurt at that. "He was my friend to." he says in Draconic, keeping his voice steady.

Mars nods. His helmet creaking against his armor.

"YOU LET HIM DIE!!!" she yells and clasps either side of her head (Make a WIS save again)

Wis: 24

"I did everything I could. I tried to have him resurrected but he didn't want to come back." Theren says, trying to explain.

You feel physic energy prick your mind as she yells at you but you push away the pain.

"Oval...please. I have something he wanted me to give you if he ever died..."

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" She yells at you. (make another WIS save)

Wis: 8

Theren just sets down an old box with dwarvish crafting clearly in it. "Just take this and I'll leave..."

Take 9 psychic damage and you are pushed 30 feet away. "YOU LEAD MY FRIEND TO SLAUGHTER!!!! WHY?!?!"

Theren shakes his head. "If it were up to me he wouldn't have come at all!"

"THEN WHY. WHY?!?!?!?!?"

"I tried to send him back. He wouldn't listen!"

"ITS YOUR FAULT. YOU PUT THE IDEA IN HIS MIND! NOW HE'S DEAD!!!!"

Theren sits down on the ground. "I know....I always try to fix things but leave them more broken."

She balls up her fists and runs into the forest.

Theren follows with ease. "Oval! Stop!"
