Mist begins to fill the forest. After about one minute, the choking fog clears.

 Sinclair looks over and narrows her eyes. She points at the gnoll as Molotov grunts and gets up, trudging over. "Mate. You aint supposed to be above the abyss."

 "What?" The gnoll seems confused and disoriented. "What's the Abyss?"

 "Mn." Molotov folds his massive tree-trunk-like arms under his cloak "Its where you came from. You aint supposed to be here. above ground."

 The pale gnoll growls weakly. "I came from Neurfurchtenburg, born and rais...ed..."

 "Hm." He narrows his golden eyes at the gnoll "How do i know you wont tear people apart hm?"

 The anger seems to partially revive the creature "What are you talking about, monster? What do you think I am, one of those savages that kill travelers for their skins?"

 "Yes." He says bluntly.

 He seems fully awake now. "I've worked for Shloss Mordenhiem! I've studied at Ludendorf University! I invented the Devil's Work repeating flintlock for Heisenberg Industries! I'm not one of those beasts in human skin hiding in the snow! Why do you think I'm dressed like this, because I stole some traveler's clothes?!"

 "Yes." He says and again and narrows his eyes "I dont believe a single thing that comes out of your muzzle dog."

 "DOG?!" He stands up, struggling to gain his footing. "You. You're disgusting. You're not even worth my time. I'm not sure if whoever created you was a genius or an absolute moron, but they certainly don't deserve any level of respect." He begins shedding layers of heavy clothing. "God, this place is as hot as a steamworks."

Kelipso (Teifling Monk/Druid) is sitting outside, whittling his Healing Staff. 

Allison (Elf Bard) is sitting in the library, composing a song.

Lore (Tiefling Druid) is outside, washing her dogs. 

Oval (Axolotl-Dragonborn Druid) is meditating by the river. 

Yuri (Fey-Queen Druid) is running around in rabbit form. 

Jack (Human Wizard) is outside, studying the patterns in leaves. 

Aix (Werewolf Barbarian) is sharpening his bone great-axe. 

Kramer (Human Cultist) is praying to Zuggtmoy. 

Puppeteer (Construct Wizard) is making skeletons of dead people dance. 

Sinclair (Half-Elf Warlock) is sharpening her nails while Molotov (Pit Fiend) growls at anyone who passes by. 

Leonardo (Human Wizard) is reading through files on patients. 

Stroth (Human Warlock) is outside, studying a glowing plant. 

The Brand (Demon-Infused Human Rogue) is hanging a man for lying. 

Kyu (Harengon Rogue) is stilled tied up and trying to bite out of her bonds. 

 

 Theren is helping her.

Alric sits nearby.

Phoenix watches Jack, confused.

 Nicky and Elmo have decided that, with the rest of the dogs, it is better to swim away from Theren and Lore. Lore sighs as she watches her dogs paddle around in circles.

"How was it being dead?" Oval askes, rather bluntly. She opens an eye and looks at him. 

Jack looks over and smiles a bit "Every leaf is different, just like how every person is different. Everything is different despite what they say. Just like magic!" He says with a grin "If one can learn how the world changes it patterns than it can be the same for magic."

 Theren sighs and picks up Elmo. "Come on you stubborn dog."

"I...dont know. I cant remember anything really."

"Huh....cool." Phoenix says, taking Jacks hand with a smile

 Elmo howls and wiggles around, trying to get free. Lore dives into the water to collect the rest. 

"Hm." Oval said and drew symbols in the dirt with her tail. "Perhaps that is a good thing?"

Jack raises an eyebrow "Have you been in contact with Bones and Basilisk lately? I know how your mates are." He said and thought back to how he had knocked Phoenix out in the weapons room.

 Theren sighs. "Shush. Just comply please!"

Alric nods. "You've gotten wiser kiddo."

"No. My former comrades are the ones leading the bounty." Phoenix says, releasing Jack's hand and staring of into the woods.

 Elmo wiggles more before biting Theren's shoulder. Not enough to draw blood but enough to try and get the half-elf to release him. 

"I suppose." She said with a smile. "I should throw you another party to welcome you back. OH! with more glitter!"

Jack thinks for a moment before pulling out a small gold ring with three diamonds on its plate. He rubs it with his thumb for a moment before taking a deep breath.

 "Stop that." Theren grumbles, wading back to shore.

"Oh gods no... no more glitter...."

Phoenix glances at him then removes his pistol from its holster and aims it over Jacks shoulder.

 Lore chuckles, carrying three more dogs despite their wiggling. "They dont like bathes. Once i seen them rolling around in a dead elk and i tried to get them a bath in the lake by my cabin and they ran away into the woods. Couldnt find them for hours." She says. 

"SOMUCHGLITTER!!!" She says with a wide smile 

Jack raises his hands and gives a confused look.

 "Clearly." Theren says, placing Elmo down, pinning the dog, and starting to wash them.

"Please no Oval..."

There is a chuckle from behind them as a couple of familiar faces appear. "You lead us on quite the hunt Phoenix." says Bones. He then nods his head as a mercenary grabs Jack from behind and puts a pistol to his head. "Try anything and your dead." the merc whispers.

 Elmo howls like Theren is killing him. Lore sighs "Baby, you are not dying. Its water."

Oval looks like they can barely contain their excitement. 

Jack sighs and gives a bored look to the mercenary. "Don't touch my boyfriend and let me go or i will unleash (GP) on you two." Jack says. 

 Theren continues to bathe Elmo, and when hes done he starts to dry them off. "There you big baby."

Alric looks frightened.

The safety clicks off as red dots swarm on Jacks chest. "Now Phoenix, surrender or lose your boyfriend here." Bones says. Phoenix looks between Jack and Bones slowly, he then drops the revolver in defeat.

 Elmo huffs and shakes himself off throughly, glaring at Theren. Lore is wresting with Nicky to even put the wolf in the lake. 

Oval unleashes a handful of glitter on him with a happy noise. 

Jack sighs "Well thats bothersome. I suppose i have to do something about it." He smiles and suddenly, he is gone from the merc's grip and besides Phoenix. He raises a hand as a ghostly dog stands besides them as well. It snarls and jumps on them (Hit: 23 Damage: 23)

 Theren goes to help Lore.

Alric sighs.

The merc screams as his neck gets bit and he starts to bleed out. Phoenix scoops up his revolver. "Back inside, NOW!"

 Lore and Theren manage to grips the wolf in a headlock and bathe him. Nicky howls out and thrashes dramatically. 

Oval giggles a bit. 

Jack taps Phoenix's back as suddenly, Phoenix is back inside the tavern without Jack. Jack sighs and runs a hand through his hair, watching the merc's through narrowed eyes "Listen you two. Phoenix is having enough trouble with the stupid bounty. He doesnt need you lot chasing after him." He says "Now.." He says as he touches the hilt of his sword. It flies out without an owner and points its blade at the mercs "I suggest you leave and never, ever return."
