A smol goblin js trying to snatch alric's coin purse without waking him
Theren comes across an old decaying ruin of sorts
Alric grabs the goblins hand. "Please dont do that."
Theren puts a hand on his dagger as he walks into the ruins.
The goblin lets out a suprised squeak, trying to pull their hand out if his grip. "Leggo! Give back hand you [cursing in goblin]"
It's damp and cold, fitting if the forest surrounding it. His feet click against the tiles of the dust and moss covered floor
Alric narrows his eyes. "watch your language."
"Hello?" Theren calls, continuing to walk.
They kick against his legs, feeling more like small taps
His voice echos, but he garners no response
alric lets them go.
Perception: 32
Theren unsheathes the cursed dagger. "Hello?!"
They jabber a few more curses as they scramble away
It's.... eerily quiet. He can smell a slight tint of blood on the walls, dried red patches half covered in moss
Alric sighs and shakes his head.
Theren walks deeper inside, casting light.
Periodically he spots the goblin watching him from behind something
The air gets thicker rhe deeper he goes, sometimes having to squeezed through collapses passages
He ignores her.
"Serenity? ANyone?!"
After a couple minutes of not spotting her, everything seems calm
He gets no response, the path splitting
Alric remains on his gaurd.
Theren goes down the right path
After about 30 minutes he feels a tug at his belt then a whispered curse
The path leads to a single room. It looks to be some sorta ritual room
Alric looks down. "Again, really?"
Theren has started to hyperventilate. "No no no no no..."
The goblin has their hand stuck in his belt loop, looking incredibly guilty
The air is especially think with the scent of blood
Alric removes their hand. "For the last time, stop."
Theren walks in, dagger raised. "Hello?"
They cross their arms, poutting
On the table is a corpse, though it's decayed to the point it's mostly bones
Alric sighs and says, "Whats your name?"
Theren throws up in a corner. "Oh gods no...."
"Gully." She says
(Heheheh >:3)
"Pleasure to meet you. I'm Alric."
Theren pulls out a lantern with a black candle. Without action the candle flashes to life. Theren then says in Infernal, "Soul of the fallen I command you to return to this vessel. Answer my questions and I may set you free."
*So basically this forcefully brings the soul of the departed back to life and makes them enter the broken body.*
They nod silently, looking kinda childish like this, but then again all goblins do
The body attempts to lurch up, but the dagger embedded through their chest and into the table doesn't really allow it
"Why are you trying to steal money?"
"What happened here?" Theren asks, coming into the bodies view.
"Cause its useful." They say, sticking her tongue out at him

Jack stood in a tree, high above the ground that overlooked a temple overgrown with thick brambles and moss. The cold spring air wrapped around his form like an embrace as he jumped down to the ground, his Blood-Oath sword in his gloved hand. His eyes were dark with running thoughts as he watched the sun begin to peek over the horizon. He slowly made his way into the temple, his fingers tracing over the writing on the vine covered walls.
Words, stories, and legends sprung to his mind as his fingers slowly took it all in. He hummed a bit as if the words for an intricate and powerful symphony in his ears. He ran a hand through his curly brown hair that fell in an unruly manner around his ears and in front of his eyes a bit, pushing it away so he could see ahead. He walked forward, his graceful manner avoiding stones that he knew were traps. His curiosity overtaking him as he let the information from a past time flood his mind.
How completely unaware he was of the eyes following his every movement while he was distracted by the knowledge he was absorbing.
Aix growled as a Manticore jumped on to his back. One swing from his mighty great-axe and the beast fell dead, its head rolling a few feet before stopping. Aix rubbed his furred shoulder with his free hand and brought it to his mouth, tasting the red blood that coursed through his system to keep him alive.
He sat down on a log and took off his bloodied hide armor, throwing it aside. He began to wipe the blood from the great-axe he wielded between his massive paws. His ears twitched and rotated, listening to the world around him. He twisted his head a bit and lapped the flowing blood from deep scratches the Manticore gave him with his massive tongue.
Stroth stood on the bough of a tree. His grip held a man by the throat just enough to make sure he didn’t slip but light enough to give the man the impression he could, in fact, slip. Stroth narrowed his glowing orange eyes.
“One last chance mate. If I drop you, I guarantee you won’t survive the fall.” Stroth said, his voice laced with a sly tone.
“I S-SWEAR! I D-DIDN’T TELL ANYONE!!” The man yells. Stroth gives a bored look and pretends to lose his grip on the man. The man yelps in fear but Stroth only chuckles.
“P-PLEASE!! I SWEAR I DIDN’T!! LET ME GO!” The man wailed in fear.
Storth smiled, his sharp teeth glinting in the morning light. The shadows casted eerie lines over the Warlocks face. The man swore he saw Stroths skin crawl…
“Poor choice of words mate.” Stroth said.
And with that, the man silently dropped. There was a sickening crack as he laid motionless on the forest floor. Stroth looked down and chuckled again.
Talbot is building a throne in the forest. He has already built a smaller one out of shining, iridescent stone next to it.
Oval appears out of nowhere, jumping from a tree to his shoulder, landing gracefully. "Hey there!" she chirps.
"I built you a chair." He gestures to the smaller, shining throne with his free arm.
Her eyes glitter as she grins then promptly turns her head "Why?" she askes and jumps down.
"Because you're my friend."
"Still! This chair is like an art piece! Its to nice to even sit upon!" She said and smiled "I would horrible if i even sat upon it and ruined its beauty."
