Jack stood in a tree, high above the ground that overlooked a temple overgrown with thick brambles and moss. The cold spring air wrapped around his form like an embrace as he jumped down to the ground, his Blood-Oath sword in his gloved hand. His eyes were dark with running thoughts as he watched the sun begin to peek over the horizon. He slowly made his way into the temple, his fingers tracing over the writing on the vine covered walls.
Words, stories, and legends sprung to his mind as his fingers slowly took it all in. He hummed a bit as if the words for an intricate and powerful symphony in his ears. He ran a hand through his curly brown hair that fell in an unruly manner around his ears and in front of his eyes a bit, pushing it away so he could see ahead. He walked forward, his graceful manner avoiding stones that he knew were traps. His curiosity overtaking him as he let the information from a past time flood his mind.
How completely unaware he was of the eyes following his every movement while he was distracted by the knowledge he was absorbing.
Aix growled as a Manticore jumped on to his back. One swing from his mighty great-axe and the beast fell dead, its head rolling a few feet before stopping. Aix rubbed his furred shoulder with his free hand and brought it to his mouth, tasting the red blood that coursed through his system to keep him alive.
He sat down on a log and took off his bloodied hide armor, throwing it aside. He began to wipe the blood from the great-axe he wielded between his massive paws. His ears twitched and rotated, listening to the world around him. He twisted his head a bit and lapped the flowing blood from deep scratches the Manticore gave him with his massive tongue.
Stroth stood on the bough of a tree. His grip held a man by the throat just enough to make sure he didn’t slip but light enough to give the man the impression he could, in fact, slip. Stroth narrowed his glowing orange eyes.
“One last chance mate. If I drop you, I guarantee you won’t survive the fall.” Stroth said, his voice laced with a sly tone.
“I S-SWEAR! I D-DIDN’T TELL ANYONE!!” The man yells. Stroth gives a bored look and pretends to lose his grip on the man. The man yelps in fear but Stroth only chuckles.
“P-PLEASE!! I SWEAR I DIDN’T!! LET ME GO!” The man wailed in fear.
Storth smiled, his sharp teeth glinting in the morning light. The shadows casted eerie lines over the Warlocks face. The man swore he saw Stroths skin crawl…
“Poor choice of words mate.” Stroth said.
And with that, the man silently dropped. There was a sickening crack as he laid motionless on the forest floor. Stroth looked down and chuckled again.
Phoenix pops up behind Jack. He is dressed in his old tactical gear, with the exception of the mask, and his ring is glinting on his finger.
Jack yelps a bit as he is pulled out from his mind into the real world. "Phoenix! You scared me!" He said and playfully punched him in the shoulder.

A giant paw places itself down on Gully's head. Loud sniffing occurs in her ear before a happy voice barks out "Tiny One!! You are back!!!"
The squeaks as she feels the paw, then smiles and turns towards the voice, "HI boss!"
Aix grins from wolf ear to wolf ear as his tail wags. "How you? Good i hope!"

Serenity is out in the woods a little bit of a distance from the tavern, vines attempting to wrap around her arms as she tends to the plants.
Gully is walking around the main room, making a surprisingly good pick pocket as she moves from mark to mark, slipping coin purses off their belts. An improvement from when she had first gotten here
-to be introduced-
Theren sits down next to her. "Those plants seem to like you."
"All plants like me," she hums
"Thats cool." Theren says with a smile.
"Yeah, and mighty helpful too" she says happily, burying a seed she planted
Theren nods, fiddling with his bracelet.
Serenity sirs there, humming softly as she tends to the garden
Therens eyes close slightly as he jerks awake as soon as his head hits his chest. he rubs his eyes and blinks hard.
"You ok there T?" She asks, laughing softly
"hm? yeah, I'm fine. Just exhausted." he says with a smile.

Gravedigger walks in
Hämärä häkellyttävä, menneisyyden menettävä
Tulevaisuus tuntematta, korkealle kurkottava
Kahleet kultaiset kukistin, raudat ruostuneet ripustin
Yksinäisen yön ylitin, sieltä itsenikin löysin
Phoenix laughs. "Yeah yeah. Whatcha doin out here?"

"Hunting something." He says with a grin. He turns back around and looks down the dark stone hallway.

"What?" Phoenix takes his rifle off of his shoulder and looks around the area.

Jack rolls his eyes and puts a hand on the gun barrel, lowering it. "No need to fire soldier." he teases "And its undead. Bullet will pass through it without issue."

"I'd rather not loose another temple to fire." He says and chuckles. He walks forward into the darkness, pulling out a pair of goggles with green lenses. He puts them over his eyes and silently drifts a hand to the wall, taking in the knowledge as the world around them becomes darker and darker. A growl is heard down the hallway along with a noise that sounds like chewing.

Phoenix sighs and shoulders the rifle. He then pulls out a flashlight and sweeps it around the hallway. At the growling noise he unsheathes his knife. The silver gleams in the flashlights light.
