Jackson sat out on the roof of the tavern. His face was bloodied and bruises from some sort of fight that had happened. Dried blood was caked down his nose as well as out the corner of his lip. He smelled faintly of alcohol; a bottle of wine that sat uncorked beside him was clearly the culprit of this slight drunkenness. Its clear he had spent the night out here, a blanket was laid out on the roof next to his spell-book, a thick scroll made from a parchment that was slowly degrading, and his jacket, which was wadded up as a make-shift pillow.
He scratched his stubbly, unshaven chin and sniffed, trying to regain his sense of smell. All he could smell now was the metallic tang of his own blood. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, pushing it away from his eyes. His thumb brushed over the smooth, plain gold ring on his ring finger, feeling its smoothness beneath it.
Leo sat at a table in the back of the tavern, reading a book embossed with the silver letters that spelled out “Mind Aplenty”. He licked his thumb and flipped the page before dog-earring the corner of a page and closing the book.
He looked like he had been awake for hours. His combed dirty-blonde hair parted with a faint swoop that neatly tucked behind one ear, his skin washed and his face emotionless except for the slight morning tiredness in his eyes, and dressed in a white dress shirt, a brown vest, and brown dress pants. He had a glass of water in front of him as well as his breakfast which consisted of toast and eggs.
The Brand stood inside the home of a young woman who was currently being held down by two armored soldiers in black masks that covered their entire faces. The Brand held a dagger to the throat of the woman who fearfully looked at him.
“I told you Rena, if you ever called on me again, I would do the favor then I would kill you.” He said, his voice tired and sly.
“I-I know… I just needed help with getting Edward off my back... Y-You’re the only one I knew...” She whimpered.
The Brand grumbled “I don’t do this for free. I can’t exactly let you live now that you know what I look like and where the Red Star base is” he said.
With one swift motion, his knife slide across her throat. Blood sprayed out and began to pool on the floor as the guards let her go as if she was nothing more than a bag of meat. The Brand stood up and pointed at the body.
“Bury it deep or burn it, then clean this place and make it look like she disappeared.” He said and the guards nodded.
Phoenix walks up and sits next to him. "You ok babe?"
"Hm? Yeah." He says and tilts his head "Why?"
"You smell of alcohol."
*Did you draw phoenix???*
*Ive started a body sketch, i still need to do more to it XD.*
"Yeah, i couldnt sleep last night so i stayed out here." He sniffs a bit and chuckles "Sorry.."
*Lol*
Phoenix gives him a side hug. "It's ok. Just talk to me if you cant sleep, ok?"
"I know... i knew you'd be mad at me so..." Jack said and picked up the scroll.

"I wouldn't be mad at you hon..."
"Even if i went back to the temple?" he askes and tilts his head innocently.
"I would be mad. Also, we need to start planning for the wedding."
"Hm. Your right." He says and thinks "What should we even do for it?"
"I don't know. Maybe a traditional wedding."
"Who would we invite?" he says and kicks his legs a bit "I dont... know.. many people.."
"People here in the tavern, relatives, and our parents." Phoenix says, excitement lighting up his eyes. "Either way it'll be amazing."
"I suppose.... Im not sure my parents would join us though... Last time i saw them, they thought i was insane.."
Phoenix takes his hand. "well you never know till you find out. Also, lets get your cleaned up. The blood on your face isn't attractive." Phoenix says, standing up and hauling jack up with him.

"Hmph." He says and pretends to be offended. He walks into his room and into the bathroom. He splashes water on his face, wiping the blood off. He then shaves a bit and slips into a black tank-top and blue jeans.
