Phoenix is on the roof, slightly drunk.

Alric is praying to his god.

Ashley is looking over wanted posters on the quest board.

Jack is observing Jack while invisible.

Oval is asleeo underwater.

Phoenix pops up behind Jack observing the invisible Jack and drunkenly says, "Heyyyyy baabbeee~"

Alric looks down at her.

*I MEANT TO WRITE PHOENIX BUT NOW THERE TWO JACK'S AHHHHHHHHHH THIS IS WHY I DONT WRITE WHEN IM TIRED XD.*

Jack and Jack, two jacks to be precise look up. One looks at the other while the other exchanges the glance. "Are you drunk?" They both ask at the same time.

Oval rolls over in her sleep and twitches

*lmaooooo*

"Noo~"

Alric smiles

Jack sighs and folds his arms as the other Jack opens a spell-book. "Would it be remove poison?" The first one askes and tilts his head. Second jack nods a bit then thinks "Greater restoration would work as well."

She wakes after a moment and blinks "Morning.."

Phoenix wraps his arms around the original Jack, snuggling him.

"mornin."

The second Jack chuckles "Ah, good, he knows which one is at least real." He kisses Phoenix's head. The first Jack huffs as suddenly he becomes a pile of slush and snow, a simulacrum.

"How are you...?" she askes, tilting her head.

Phoenix snuggles closer mumbling to himself and giggling.

"I'm alright. How are you Oval?"

Jack sighs, sternness creeping into his tone "Do you think you can answers simple questions if i asked them?"

"Good. Sleepy..."

Phoenix nods.

"Well, I have a surprise for you."

"Why are you drunk my husband." He says and tilts his head.

"Hm?" She tilts her head "Present? Why?"

"Mnnnnn....couldn't sleep. Bad things in my head."

"Because you deserve one." he says, booping her nose with a smile.

Jack tilts his head and runs a hand through Phoenix's hair "And what were those things in your head?"

"Whu? No i dont..." she said and waved her tail and ear frills around.

"Can't tell you...you'd be ashamed.."

"Yes you do. Your magic is incredible and you try to harness it every day."

"My clever boy, how could i.... I cant help but forgive you." He says "But if they are things that would harm others or thoughts of harming yourself, then i must know." He gently pinches Phoenix's earlobe.

"Mn.... i still dont believe you."

Phoenix sighs and nods. "I...back when i was still in the army I did bad things...crimes."

Alric pulls out a small cloak fit for Oval.

"Like what?" He askes and gently runs a hand through Phoenix's hair.

Oval looks at it, sparkles in her eyes. She gently takes it.

"Murder of civilians...."

It is super soft but super strong at the same time. It shimmers slightly as she picks it up.

"Why did you do that?" he askes and tilts his head. He leans forward a bit, trailing his fingers lightly down the bare skin of Phoenix's neck.

"What- I can't in any way accept this!"

"We didn't know..."

"Its a present oval."

"Did you feel regret after learning what you had done?" He askes.

"But its ART!"

*Can ya check the chaotic pm?*

Phoenix nods.

"Its a cloak that'll help protect you."

*Yep!*

"Hm. Did you do anything after that? Did you confront your superiors?"

"But i have scales!"

"No."

"Extra protection then."
