"Its fine!" he said, his fur was now that comical fluffy look.
Mirinn struggles to hold in a giggle outburst at this sight.
"Hey now! dont laugh at me!" he said
"Desole, tu as juste l'air drole comme ca." She snickers a bit more.
"I have no idea what that means but ok!" he says with a chuckle
"Anyways, here's your rod back." She hands him his rod, which she held in place while he fetched the one she threw. There seems to be a bite on the line of it.
He gives hers back and reels it in (STR: 11 )
He reels in a salmon that's on the smaller side of the size spectrum.
"Hi there fish!" he says with a grin. He puts it in a basket to cook later.
She watches him with a smile, then tries to throw a line out again, this time keeping a hold on the rod as the line bloops into the water.
*My entire existence is one word: Bloops*
He watches the water for any movement.
*It is such a fun word.*
It seems that him splashing around earlier, as well as catching that one fish, has scared off any fish for now.
His ears lower "aw man" he grumbles a bit
She looks over. "Hm? What's wrong?"
"The fish seem to have gone away" he said
"Oh... was is because I tossed the rod in earlier?"
"No... i think its cuz i was trying to get it back"
"So... because I threw it in still." She started reeling the line back in. "I guess we can always come back later."
"I have an idea but ill need your breath" he said
She tilted her head. "What's your idea?"
"Breath down there" he points to the water
Even though she's a bit confused, she still does so, freezing the water a few feet down.
He jumps down and hops up and down "Oh! ah! cold! cold!" he quickly puts on special tabaxi paw-boots. "we can make a ice bridge and go out to the middle of the lake!"
"OH! That sounds great!" She hops down and eagerly starts making the bridge, only stopping to occasionally catch her breath.
He grins and follows, making sure she doesnt pass out
When she gets to the middle of the lake, she stops and sits down, breathing heavily.
He digs in his bag and pulls out a canteen of water "here" he said
She accepts the canteen and drains it. "Oh, merci. Is this a good spot?'
