"Thank you. I find my form cumbersome, but it is good that you can see the beauty in it."
"All forms are beautfuil, some people just have to wake up and see that." They said with a chuckle "But a God-swallower! now I have seen everything!"
"It was an accidental transformation, but a valuable one. It happened while I was trapped in the Domains of Dread and found the remains of a dead god."
But wait... what's that noise? It sounds like... incoherent yelling...
Well, now that's quite interesting, as animalistic roaring could also be heard. Let's take the scene a bit closer, shall we?
If one was to look through the trees, deep into the woods, they could spot... a bear. A BIG bear. But... something was off... it was running straight for the tavern. Not in an attacking way, no. It was running as though trying to... shake something off...
But what could it be?
"A'M AFF TAE BATTER YE 'TILL YE'R BLUIDIN FAE ILKA PAIRT O` YER BODY, YE DUMB ANIMAL!"
Oh no. It was a short scottish person, presumably female, riding on the back of the bear's head, punching her metal-clad fists down onto its poor cranium. For some reason, she was wearing armor that almost seems... spiked? Every possible part was spiked, from her feet, to her hands, to her helmet, which covered her face. The only part of her actual body aside from armor that could be made out was a long braid of fiery orange hair streaking in the wind.
Oh. The bear was running this way. TAKE COVER!
If someone was not careful, they'd have an unconscious bear run directly into them, with a maniacally laughing scottish woman riding it, and then rolling over them in the dirt.
Kaz, who was trying to studying some silverthorn, quickly jumps out the way of the two and watches as their alchemist supplies get crushed in the process.
The bear rolls limply in the dirt, the supplies getting absolutely obliterated. Though, for some reason... it seems to be twitching? Suddenly that is explained away as the exactly 4' figure in armor from earlier rolls the bear off of her and stands up in truimph, laughing her head off. Her braid was long enough that a few inches of it dragged in the dirt behind her as she dances around the giant bear, yelling scottish insults at it in glee.
Kaz stares down at the supplies and lets out a loud sigh. They bend down and begin to pick up broken wood and glass and metal from the ground.
"Tak' that, ye stupidly pure giant bear! "
After a moment of finishing her victory rounds, she eventually stops and looks around, eventually noticing the individual picking up the mess.
"Whit happened tae yer stuff? It looks extremely goosed. Did ye step oan thaim or kick thaim aroond?"
"It got caught in the crossfire of you and the.. bear." they said and sighed "Its fine, i can get more."
"Ah, a'richt. Sae whaur am ah? Ah chased that bear aroond fur hours afore ah finally git a haud oan it, sae ah sorta lost track o' whaur a'm."
She walked over, stepping on a few broken pieces of what remained of a small wooden bowl.
"I know every language but for the love of the gods above, i cannot understand a thing you are saying Ma'am" Kaz said and tilted their head before picking up a glass bottle of water "Here. You need something to drink. I just saw you fight a bear."
*And this is why I love the scottish accent, even those people that know every language can't understand something through a thick accent.*
*Also, I may need a description of Kaz.*
She crossed her arms indignantly, stepping forward to knock the bottle of water aside.
"Weel that's rude o' ye tae say! ah speak perfectly braw, ye overgrown mole rat! 'n' na, ah dinnae need cooncil juice. Whit a'm needin' is a guid helping o' bevvy!"
She looks around a bit more at her surroundings, her gaze eventually falling upon the tavern.
"Awright, that's a tavern, isnae it? ah cuid recognize yin fae a mile awa'! by th' wey, mah name's Thramilnodrebaneuathokorumnalyn."

*Kaz is 5'7 and is Agender (They/Them Pronouns). They have long black hair that is always tied in a bun, olive-hued skin that is slightly tanned (Their heritage is Thai), and bright silver eyes. They wear a white lab coat-like cloak, a black turtle-neck sweater, and black trousers.*
"Im not trying to be rude but your hard to understand. Now drink the water lovely, dehydration is no joke." They said and pushed the water bottle towards her.
"Ah said git yer cooncil juice oot o' mah coupon! ah dinnae need it! if ye shove it toward me again, ah will gie ye a taste o' whit ah gave th' bear!"
She smacked her hand slightly more forcefully against the water bottle, attempting to knock it out of his hand.
Kaz sighs and rolls their eyes "Tis better to be healthy than to be sickly." they said and stood up. They took the pieces of the broken alchemist kit and threw them in a burn pile and set it on fire.
"A'm richt as smirr, ye dafty! it'll tak' a lot mair than missing a boattle o' cooncil juice tae tak' me oot fur guid."
She huffed, and crossed her arms again, striding up next to him to watch the fire. After a few seconds, she lifts her hands up to the bottom edge of her helmet, slowly lifting it up to reveal... a goblin? But the spiked armor she's wearing normally belongs to dwarves, and it sure looks to be made by dwarves... Her face was actually quite attractive for a goblin, with decent proportions in her cheeks, emerald green eyes, and her forehead that leads up to her fiery orange hair, the edges hanging a bit loose and short away from the long braid that trails down behind her.

Please don't hide your imperfections, if one part is beautiful, it all is.
Talbot holds out his black-wrapped hand as cold white fog leaks from it. "I can teleport us there."
Kaz grips their hand and grins "That would be lovely."
The Mists wrap around the duo. When they clear, they are in a quarry, devoid of any life, unless you count broken-down machines as life.
Talbot unwraps his hand a massive, emaciated 20-foot arm reaches out of the gap. The sun dims. *Is Kaz immune to necrotic damage?*
*Kaz is immune to Necrotic, Poison, and Diease.*
Kaz stumbles around for a moment "Bahhh, teleportation spells.." they shake their head and watch intently.
Talbot unwraps himself entirely, revealing his Gargantuan true form: A God-Swallower Atropal.
"Oooooh!" Kaz claps their hands excitedly before donning their goggles and examining Talbot. "lovely lovely!" They said and grinned "truly wonderful!"
*Gotta switch computers*
"Very interesting!" They said and lifted their goggles "Why hide this? Many people would love to see who you are!"
"It is less my appearance, more my negative energy aura and septic touch."
"Ah. Understandable." They said and chuckled, pulling out a notebook and sketching Talbot.
Talbot clears away the mist pouring from his body to give Kaz a better view.
"Much thanks" They say and grin again "Tell me, what was it like to fuse with such a being?"
"It wasn't so much a fusion as a devouring. It was excruciating, and I do not use that term lightly."
"Pain is the only thing that reminds us that we are mortal and living." Kaz quotes and chuckles.
"What an ironic quote for such an occasion."
"I suppose but i feel it fits" They said and giggled
But wait... what's that noise?

The door to the tavern opens to show a weary and bruised Theren. On his back are two small shapes covered with blankets. At his hip is a sword. His boots and pant legs are splattered with mud and blood. He staggers inside and looks around for a friendly face.
Phoenix is in his room working out. He hits the punching bag over and over with such ferocity that it has started to split.

She smacked her hand slightly more forcefully against the water bottle, attempting to knock it out of his hand.

She turned her head, settling her helmet under her armpit as she glared at them.
