The carnival looks, at least from a normal person's perspective, terrifying. Rickety buildings, monsters in cages, unspeakable things lurking in dark corners... but with Truesight, most of the things here are simply artifice. Illusion magic is used to make everything look dangerous, but the baby tarrasque is just a sleepy little lizard in reality, and the buildings are structurally sound. The unspeakable things are real, though, but they're just more carnival-goers and carnies that happen to be monsters. With her truesight, Yuri can see that the big top is pulsing with orange light, beating like a heart.
