Jack is outside. He is dressed not in a suit, but rather in comfortable clothing. He wears a navy blue hoodie that is larger than his lithe frame and cargo pants. His eyes are unfocused as he stares at the lake, leaned against a tree.

Chloe is sitting in the library, messing with the small metal bead that was all she had left from her home. She kicked her small legs over the side, her face blank of emotions and in a neutral expression.

Lore is sleeping in her room, buried under layers of blankets. Her dogs slept around her, curled up happily.

Phoenix walks up to him. "You ok?"

THere is the loud sound of clip clopping outside

"Hm?" He said and shook out of his dazed state "Ah yes. Im fine... How are you?"

Lore groggily sits up and peers outside, about to cast fire bolt at whoever decided to annoy her.

"Im fine. You are clearly not."

A white and black horse is trotting up to the tavern carrying a very familiar figure that is slumped on its back

"Quite sorry. My sight tends to impede at the worst times." He said and gave a small smile.

"?" She looks down and jumps out the window. She pets the horses muzzle before picking up the body.

"Whaddya mean?"

The horse neighs loudly and trots backwards, keeping the body away from her

"Nothing.." He said and chuckled "Wizardly things that make no sense"

She narrows her eyes and begins to whisper noises in druidic to the horse, trying to get it trust her. (Animal Handling: 17)

"So why dont you trust the girl, Chloe?"

It neighs louder rearing up a bit

"Foresight has shown me that later on in life that she'll go on to kill hundreds and hurt many many more." He said and covered his right eye with the heel of his palm. Tears flooded to his eyes, threatening to overflow. "She becomes a Queen and she slaughter so many."

"Hey hey... shhh. Its ok.." She and made herself look smaller.

Phoenix hugs him tightly. "Baby...we can change that. We gotta be loving to her and show her the right paths..."

Aragorn snorts loudly and trots a full circle around her.

Jack sighs "I enjoy your enthusiasm and positivity but I have my doubts." He said and gave a hollow chuckle.

"Listen horse, my specialty is with dogs and other animals. Not your kind. If you would be kind enough to let me check over that body you have... I have a feeling i know them."

"We have to try...."

It stamps his foot and looks beadily at her. Of course you know the half-elf i carry

"I'll try..." He said and chuckled "Can't say ill be the best at it though."

"Good. Its Theren." She said and raised an eyebrow "Hand him over."

"Just try for me."

He is deeply scarred. I would like to know your name before i hand him over

"I will." He says and nips at Phoenix's ear "Now tell me to cooperate one more time and i will rip it off"

"Lore Azain." She said stood straighter.

"Fine fine."

The horse regards her for a moment before kneeling down

"Good." Jack said and grinned.

"Good. Moment more and i would've turned you into flanks." She half-joked and picked up Theren.

He smiles back

When she picks him up his dual swords fall out of his hands and onto the grass. They are broken in half and blackened

"How are you feeling?" He askes and kissed Phoenix's temple.

She narrows her eyes and looks at the horse, frost beginning to form on the grass. "What did this"

"Im feeling fine."

He went back. To Ilmaters Hope. If you had asked him he would've told you.

"Good." He said and leaned back, his eyes going back into a daze.

"I suppose its not to late to make your useful." She said and extended a dagger from her hand.

Jack is outside. He is dressed not in a suit, but rather in comfortable clothing. He wears a navy blue hoodie that is larger than his lithe frame and cargo pants. His eyes are unfocused as he stares at the lake, leaned against a tree.

Chloe is sitting in the library, messing with the small metal bead that was all she had left from her home. She kicked her small legs over the side, her face blank of emotions and in a neutral expression.

Lore is sleeping in her room, buried under layers of blankets. Her dogs slept around her, curled up happily.

Phoenix walks up to him. "You ok?"

THere is the loud sound of clip clopping outside

"Hm?" He said and shook out of his dazed state "Ah yes. Im fine... How are you?"

Lore groggily sits up and peers outside, about to cast fire bolt at whoever decided to annoy her.

"Im fine. You are clearly not."

A white and black horse is trotting up to the tavern carrying a very familiar figure that is slumped on its back

"Quite sorry. My sight tends to impede at the worst times." He said and gave a small smile.

"?" She looks down and jumps out the window. She pets the horses muzzle before picking up the body.

"Whaddya mean?"

The horse neighs loudly and trots backwards, keeping the body away from her

"Nothing.." He said and chuckled "Wizardly things that make no sense"

She narrows her eyes and begins to whisper noises in druidic to the horse, trying to get it trust her. (Animal Handling: 17)

"So why dont you trust the girl, Chloe?"

It neighs louder rearing up a bit

"Foresight has shown me that later on in life that she'll go on to kill hundreds and hurt many many more." He said and covered his right eye with the heel of his palm. Tears flooded to his eyes, threatening to overflow. "She becomes a Queen and she slaughter so many."

"Hey hey... shhh. Its ok.." She and made herself look smaller.

Phoenix hugs him tightly. "Baby...we can change that. We gotta be loving to her and show her the right paths..."

Aragorn snorts loudly and trots a full circle around her.

Jack sighs "I enjoy your enthusiasm and positivity but I have my doubts." He said and gave a hollow chuckle.

"Listen horse, my specialty is with dogs and other animals. Not your kind. If you would be kind enough to let me check over that body you have... I have a feeling i know them."

"We have to try...."

It stamps his foot and looks beadily at her. Of course you know the half-elf i carry

"I'll try..." He said and chuckled "Can't say ill be the best at it though."

"Good. Its Theren." She said and raised an eyebrow "Hand him over."

"Just try for me."

He is deeply scarred. I would like to know your name before i hand him over

"I will." He says and nips at Phoenix's ear "Now tell me to cooperate one more time and i will rip it off"

"Lore Azain." She said stood straighter.

"Fine fine."

The horse regards her for a moment before kneeling down

"Good." Jack said and grinned.

"Good. Moment more and i would've turned you into flanks." She half-joked and picked up Theren.

He smiles back

When she picks him up his dual swords fall out of his hands and onto the grass. They are broken in half and blackened

"How are you feeling?" He askes and kissed Phoenix's temple.

She narrows her eyes and looks at the horse, frost beginning to form on the grass. "What did this"

"Im feeling fine."

He went back. To Ilmaters Hope. If you had asked him he would've told you.

"Good." He said and leaned back, his eyes going back into a daze.

"I suppose its not to late to make your useful." She said and extended a dagger from her hand.

Phoenix gently slaps him. "No, no going into your head."

What do you mean. Put away the dagger ma'am or i WILL kick your head in

"Hm?" Jack jumps back into reality "Did i drift again? Sorry about that."

"Beat it" She hissed, her sharp teeth bared as her ears suddenly turn into small bear ears "Or ill eat you while you still live."

He nods

He is my human, i will protect him. Explain yourself.

Jack is outside. He is dressed not in a suit, but rather in comfortable clothing. He wears a navy blue hoodie that is larger than his lithe frame and cargo pants. His eyes are unfocused as he stares at the lake, leaned against a tree.

Chloe is sitting in the library, messing with the small metal bead that was all she had left from her home. She kicked her small legs over the side, her face blank of emotions and in a neutral expression.

Lore is sleeping in her room, buried under layers of blankets. Her dogs slept around her, curled up happily.

Phoenix walks up to him. "You ok?"

THere is the loud sound of clip clopping outside

"Hm?" He said and shook out of his dazed state "Ah yes. Im fine... How are you?"

Lore groggily sits up and peers outside, about to cast fire bolt at whoever decided to annoy her.

"Im fine. You are clearly not."

A white and black horse is trotting up to the tavern carrying a very familiar figure that is slumped on its back

"Quite sorry. My sight tends to impede at the worst times." He said and gave a small smile.

"?" She looks down and jumps out the window. She pets the horses muzzle before picking up the body.

"Whaddya mean?"

The horse neighs loudly and trots backwards, keeping the body away from her

"Nothing.." He said and chuckled "Wizardly things that make no sense"

She narrows her eyes and begins to whisper noises in druidic to the horse, trying to get it trust her. (Animal Handling: 17)

"So why dont you trust the girl, Chloe?"

It neighs louder rearing up a bit

"Foresight has shown me that later on in life that she'll go on to kill hundreds and hurt many many more." He said and covered his right eye with the heel of his palm. Tears flooded to his eyes, threatening to overflow. "She becomes a Queen and she slaughter so many."

"Hey hey... shhh. Its ok.." She and made herself look smaller.

Phoenix hugs him tightly. "Baby...we can change that. We gotta be loving to her and show her the right paths..."

Aragorn snorts loudly and trots a full circle around her.

Jack sighs "I enjoy your enthusiasm and positivity but I have my doubts." He said and gave a hollow chuckle.

"Listen horse, my specialty is with dogs and other animals. Not your kind. If you would be kind enough to let me check over that body you have... I have a feeling i know them."

"We have to try...."

It stamps his foot and looks beadily at her. Of course you know the half-elf i carry

"I'll try..." He said and chuckled "Can't say ill be the best at it though."

"Good. Its Theren." She said and raised an eyebrow "Hand him over."

"Just try for me."

He is deeply scarred. I would like to know your name before i hand him over

"I will." He says and nips at Phoenix's ear "Now tell me to cooperate one more time and i will rip it off"

"Lore Azain." She said stood straighter.

"Fine fine."

The horse regards her for a moment before kneeling down

"Good." Jack said and grinned.

"Good. Moment more and i would've turned you into flanks." She half-joked and picked up Theren.

He smiles back

When she picks him up his dual swords fall out of his hands and onto the grass. They are broken in half and blackened

"How are you feeling?" He askes and kissed Phoenix's temple.

She narrows her eyes and looks at the horse, frost beginning to form on the grass. "What did this"

"Im feeling fine."

He went back. To Ilmaters Hope. If you had asked him he would've told you.

"Good." He said and leaned back, his eyes going back into a daze.

"I suppose its not to late to make your useful." She said and extended a dagger from her hand.

Phoenix gently slaps him. "No, no going into your head."

What do you mean. Put away the dagger ma'am or i WILL kick your head in

"Hm?" Jack jumps back into reality "Did i drift again? Sorry about that."

"Beat it" She hissed, her sharp teeth bared as her ears suddenly turn into small bear ears "Or ill eat you while you still live."

He nods

He is my human, i will protect him. Explain yourself.

"Im just tired and when im tired.. my mind drifts i guess." He said and shrugged.

As if they were hidden invisibly in the air the whole time, two of her dogs appear. They are as big as a human and their Power Rune on their chests glow brightly.

"Take a nap hon."

The horse stomps and then lights on fire. Explain yourself Lore. Why the need for the dagger?

"Its fine." He said and chuckled "I'll take one later when it wont impede my work."

"It was more for you to leave so i could take care of Theren. Im not going to hurt him."

"Take one now."

Aragorn snorts. Fine

"And if i refuse?" he said, raising an eyebrow.

"Good." She hissed and took him inside.

"Ill force you alseep."

The horse neighs and vanishes
