He nods and sets the plate down, disappearing into the kitchen.
She waits patiently, guarding his plate from anything that would harm it.
He comes back a few minutes later with a stack of waffles as big as her head, loaded with chocolate chips.
Her eyes grow wide at the monument of waffles.
"Ta-da!!!" he said with a grin
"Il est beau..."
"Huh?" he tilts his head "I don't know french" he said and sat the waffles down
"It's beautiful. Like a perfect painting brought to life." She drifts over to the plate, afraid to even touch it.
He chuckles "All food is like art... well except carrion and rotten things but most food truly is art"

"I know i am" he said with a grin and sat down in a seat.
She sat down as well, not even knowing where to begin with her plate.
If she looks over at harbor, he is almost half done somehow
