A man is walking through the snow, dressed in a large, black, furry cape that conceals most of his body, parting in the middle to reveal his stained, white-and-turquoise pinstriped apron. He seems to be an aristocrat, but the crest on his cloak clasp doesn't resemble any known house. He smells strongly of herbs and perfume, even despite the cold numbing the senses.
His face is pale and gaunt, shadowed by his top hat and partially covered by his long, thick scarf. Closer inspection reveals that half of his face is a tin mask intended to look exactly like the rest of his face, held on by a pair of glasses without lenses. White mist flows around his ankles as he steps out of the frozen forest.
He makes his way inside, clearly tired and disoriented but trying not to appear as such.

Throden, the bartender, waves to them. "You okay there, sir? Wanted a drink for your ills?"

Throden, the bartender, waves to them. "You okay there, sir? Wanted a drink for your ills?"
A faint smile. "Sure. Couldn't hurt. Might even warm me up a bit." He chuckles and sits down. "How about... huh, I don't recognize any of these drinks." He seems delighted as opposed to confused. "Just a beer for now. For my health."

"Edeltier Heilwald. I'm a physician."
"Pleasure to have you. Then you must know a lot about health. What brings you here? The cold winds blowing?"

"Pleasure to have you. Then you must know a lot about health. What brings you here? The cold winds blowing?"
"Opportunity. I require more wealth to sustain my family, and I've traveled long and far through the Mists and snow to find a place like this, with people less acclimated to the frost."
"You just look like a lot of my patients. Do you need help with anything?"
'Patients? Ya some kinda doctor. That makes sense. Ya think I look sickly?'
"You look like someone very close to catching a severe disease. Or getting snatched up and dissected. But maybe this world is different."
'I reckon I'm pretty tough, I've been living like this for my whole life. But getting dissected does not sound fun. Why do you think I'll get dissected? Someone coming for me? Or just is it a random statement?'
