Finally, telepathy. As for the merging, it is... think of the spirit as an ocean. As a ghost, I am a fraction of my ocean. Bound by ethereal binding and my will, the water acts like... a bubble. When I 'merge' with my descendent, my bubble could rise to the surface and spread out over the ocean's surface, or sink down, to slumber and regain my energy
