*Raphael has been stated by Helios to move down from PURGE THE WORLD OF UNDEAD ON SIGHT to BEGRUNINGLY DEAL WITH THEM, however Raphael will be more than happy to kill those who are using undeath for evil. What ideas do you have? Maybe a boneclaw?*
*So I have this book. Ulraunt's Guide to the Planes: The Shadowfell. It has a lot of monsters from earlier editions, updated to 5e. Many of them were specifically not converted because they were for epic-level players (level 30 and higher). One of them was the God Swallower Atropal.
Just a thought. Probably won't use him, even though I made the character like a year ago and have already played him here.*

The forest is filled with fog. You can feel it. Something awful is coming. Something truly, truly awful...
Raphae sighs, standing guard over the town and Inn
The mist begins to dissipate, no, coalesce in the rain...
A figure wrapped head-to-toe in pitch-black fabric walks out of the woods, the fog slowly seeping in through the minute gaps in the bandages. He looks like a plague victim, a Netherese soldier from thousands of years back. The creature carries an easel and canvas with it as it approaches the town. It is old and frail, rail thin and stooped, yet still strangely tall. The silver buckles on its clothes don't keep the ends of its bandages from flowing through the air like ribbons underwater, even despite the rain. It doesn't seem to notice Raphael or the downpour as it sets up the easel.

Raphael ‘growls’ at them, intrigued and guarded. “Who are you, painter?”

Even despite his wraps, which are laced so thick with Abjuration that it can be felt without Detect Magic, the reek of undead washes over Raphael's holy senses. This isn't your regular undead. Not even a Nightwalker would give off an aura this strong.
"Talbot. Just Talbot." His voice is ancient, but kind. Almost uncannily so.
