Sytosc wipes his monstrous, lipless teeth with a handkerchief before returning to his human form.
"Yeah. If we had just acted faster, we could have prevented all this madness."
They nod. "Indeed, it took the town being burnt down for me to be able to act. Most unfortunate." The angel responds, shirking down to a more medium humaniod size, not wanting to overshadow Sytosc. "But hopefully life will be better without them. A church has been formed of Helios out of all of this. At least that is good."
Sytosc thinks for a minute. He jots something down in his notebook. "The suffering caused drew in a few too many extraplanars than I would have liked. But..." he sighs, "...c'est la vie." He puts his notebook away.
They nod. "The tavern seems to magnify such things. It drew you, drew me, etc. How many?"
"At least... three. I haven't been keeping count. Some of them are Elder Evils."
"You will be protected from the elements, and the wonders of the world will seem slightly more wonderful. The crisp crunch of an apple will be louder, the birds will sing sweeter, and the smells of cooking will smell stronger. Things to make life... better. Happier."
"Sounds lovely my lord."
"Oh... don't call me lord."
"Why not?"
"I'm not lordly. My crown is made of flowers, and my realm is this small grove."
"You are still a god. no matter how small your domain is. Still a lord in my eyes."
"Aww. You're so sweet." Sivram stands and dusts off his knees. "Now with that tattoo, I can leave the circle. Thank you."
"Of course." he says, slightly embarrassed by the comment of him being sweet
"Want to get a drink? I remember that being a pastime of mortals."
"I've been trying to quit drinking."
"That is admirable. However comfortable my realm is, I grow bored, what do you think we should do?"
11. The weak swordsman clings to his instrument. It is better you have a sword, but death must lie under your fingernails, if need be. Learn death with your elbows, death with your knees, and death with your thumbs and fingertips. It is said death with the tongue is useful, but I find words too soft an instrument to smash a man’s skull.

They sigh, holding their head in their hands. "Well at least they are above my pay grade." They survery the carnage. "I shall clean this up later, but now, how about some celebrating? Something to lighten the mood? I am sure you have knowledge of some nice place to eat?"

A team of skeletons lead by a were-ferret slowly fade in before beginning the menial task of cleaning up the carnage, putting the corpses into a neat pile for collection later.

This mortal body is expendable, I will be released from my binding soon.
A pale, haggard man in a wide-brimmed hat with a monochrome peacock feather in it stands behind him. He looks like he's tired and in some pain.
Truesight:
Zarznac is a massive wolf-like monstrosity with black feathers with eye patterns in place of fur and antlers where its real eyes should be. It has white bandages wrapped here and there with black blood seeping through, and a peacock-like tail. Its claws seem to be made of colorless metal.
They wave before stopping themselves. "Well, I guess you already saw that. You must be the eldritch evil that these nightmare towers come from?"
Zarznac can sense Zhudon's essence powering Meroving
"By some definitions, yes. I try to be good, but in the end, one cannot teach without there being a struggle. At least, not in a way that sticks. My tower says you are... powered by the Corpse Star. Am I correct?"

Raphael looks confused but lets them. They wave to the were-ferret, making a smile. "Who might you be?"
