"Auravin Morchant, but a simple name isn't much, is it? I belong the the illustrious Morchant family."

There the coursing of binding magic, not affecting Ani, in fact they don't even notice, but it does touch Meroving, not doing anything dangerous, but just there as a gentle magical reminder.
